No problem. I hope that innocent people like you don’t get scarred by people who don’t deserve to be recognised in society.

writing this because I failed at something ambitious myself

First one I can think of is NationStates. I tried to make very detailed, organised factbooks explaining almost every point of my nation. Too ambitious, as there is too much work, and 1/2 of my factbooks are under WIP (Work In Progress). What I learnt? Go simple first, then slowly build on on different factbooks at once.

P.S. I never did put that learning point into action.

I've tried starting a business and investing all of my lifesavings into this business, only to be screwed over by one of the world's biggest companies eho lied to the government when I reported them to consumer affairs. Now I'm unemployed and broke

Also, when I was a teenager and One Direction were the biggest band in the world, I outsmarted their security guard and left him speechless

It is. The fact the guard was speechless meant he couldn’t call out any orders. Smart.

Well not exactly. You see, my sister was obsessed with One Direction, so my mum decided to drive her to the other end of Sydney, about an hour and a half away, to try to get a photo with them. I came along too, because why the hell not. So we parked in the metred parking bay, very close in the spot next to 1D's van. We put money into the parking metre and got a ticket, but they didn't. When the security guard asked all of us who were parked nearby to move elsewhere. I said "I'm parked here legally and you're not". After uttering this expression enough times, he got sick of arguing with me, and we were the only car parked in the spot next to the 1D van. You can tell how pathetic my life considering that's probs my biggest achievement ever. This same security guard also did something on that day which made me respect him, a hell of a lot, but considering that this was a confidential matter that was concealed matter, I will not disclose it publicly

I hope your Sister at least got a compromise. And I’m glad to know you respected the officer at the end of the day, which I presume meant a happy ending. :)

Cool!

It’s funny how you don’t need to pay for expensive software when you can make score sheets for free from an app.

If you're going to do a megathread at least make it mega.
