an inverted triangle of inverted triangles, with the national council at the inverted apex (nadex?) and everyone currently living in the country accross the top.
next beneath them are their local village, neighborhood or unincorporated district councils. below those counties, below those shires, well you get the idea.
there's no seating diagram by political party because our electoral process does not require (political parties) them.
how this is achieved, cameroi may have explained elsewhere.

    From left to right:

Labour is a typical centre-left labour party.
    FFFP is socialist.
PdRégions is the primary federalist/'decentralist' party.
YoshimaDT is the independence party for the eastern region by the name of Yoshima, allied with PdRégions on most issues.
The Internationals want Ko-oren to take on a larger role on the international stage, through diplomacy and trade, as well as helping out in humanitarian crises.
Midori! is the primary centre-left green party.
Vert & Bleu is a somwhat nationalist green party.
Conservatives are the primary centre-right party (liberal economy, in favour of the meritocratic government).
Nationalists are what is says on the tin. Pro-central authority, pro-meritocracy, pro-isolationist policies.
Democrats want the democratic system to become more important than the meritocratic system (Ko-oren is tends more towards meritocracy than democracy).
Liberals are another centre-right party (liberal economy, no stance on democracy/meritocracy, but very much in favour of civil, political and economic liberties).
PLE is an extreme liberal party (laissez-faire economy, democratic, federalist, civil, political, and economic liberties).
The Pirates are the local Pirate Party (somewhat liberal, focus on digital issues).
The Meritocrats are a central party, in favour of the meritocratic system. A bit of a status-quo party.

The closest thing we have to a parliament is a body of 180 people which we call the Grand Jury.

    Image

This is the legislative assembly of Foreverisle.

Its members are selected at random from applicants in various demographic groups to ensure that we achieve the most balanced decision-making possible.

We do not hold elections as we believe that these encourage legislatures to place a greater value on winning seats than on making the best decisions. Each member is therefore free to do as their conscience tells them, even if that entails making unpopular but necessary decisions, without worrying about getting elected again afterwards.

Parliament of the Realm of Rosewald

    Postby Rosewald » Sat Jul 13, 2019 10:57 pm

    Image

The results of the most recent General Election held on 1 November 2022 are illustrated in the above diagram. The Social Democratic seats are red and the Liberal seats are amber. Rosewald’s national legislature is called ‘Parliament’ and consists of 150 members. Each member is called a Member of the Parliament this is generally abbreviated as ‘MP’. The term Parliamentarian or Member are also occasionally used for a Member of Parliament. As with most parliamentary democracies the leader of the majority party is the head of the government. In Rosewald this is the Chief Minister. As Rosewald is a British Crown Dependency the leader of the majority party must seek permission from the Governor to form a government. The Governor is the representative of HM King Charles III in the Realm of Rosewald. A detailed breakdown of the 2022 results with an explanation of the major parties came be found below.

Social Democratic Party AKA 'SDP' (centre-left) 99 seats (56.6%)
Liberal Party (centre) 76 seats (44.4%)

Chief Minister: Danielle Mills (Social Democratic Party)

Thank you! This diagram is the most successful of a few trials and attempts I did.
I don't know how to use Illustrator or other digital drawing apps so..
I used Algodoo, a physics simulation program-game-something I always use to make moving things
I just found out I could make a parliament diagram on it so yeah
    a guide(?)
Hope this helps (excuse my english i suck at explaining things i am sorry)

The Senate is the unicameral legislature, from which the Premier Minister is elected by the rest of the Senate from candidates selected by the Consulate, the collective Presidency of twelve Consuls.

The presiding officer of the Senate is the President of The Senate and is elected by the whole Senate

There are no political parties in Turelisa, and all Senators organise themselves into two broadly ideological groups- the Calvinist League or the Movement for Reform.

    Council of the Union:
    Image
More commonly known in foreign media as the Soviet of the Union, it consists of one deputy for every 300000 people living in the Union, which coincidentally means that the current Soviet has exactly 1150 deputies, distributed as follows:
    • Communist Party of the Union (KPS) - 1107
    • Independent - 43
The KPS is the only legal party, furthermore, independent candidates are allowed but vetted by the Party.

    Council of Nationalities:

Again, more commonly known as Soviet of Nationalities, it is elected by a complex system where 32 deputies are elected from each union republic, 11 from each autonomous republic, 5 from each autonomous oblast, and 1 from each autonomous okrug, regardless of the population of each administrative unit. This gives a total of 793 deputies, distributed as follows:
    • Communist Party of the Union (KPS) - 770
    • Independent - 23
In practice, the electoral system for the Council of Nationalities not only gives proper representation to ethnic minorities, but also makes it even harder for independents to be elected.

Both chambers formally have the same powers.

This nation was created on a whim, and does not represent my political views at all.
A modified, more powerful USSR. If NS Stats contradict the (currently non-existent) factbooks, then the factbook takes precedence.
