If you haven't heard, this battle is over. It's now second referendum and remain, on the grounds that the soft-Brexit compromise is no longer something either side is prepared to tolerate.
Corbyn was initially doing the whole high ground unite the country shit and didn't catch the mood in the room that this was full blown Kulturkampf. This was the "We'll do the common market Plus deal."
Following this failing to appeal to brexiteers and his own party getting pissy it turned into gradually inching toward second referendum.
i thought it was second referendum and remain unless labour secures its own deal in which it might advocate for that but also possibly not??? in my eyes he's still holding out for his stupid fucking customs union because he's a lexiter.
