Just to bring a little bit of a lighter tone to the forum, I am going to ask three questions:
- Which celebrity did/do you have a crush for, and why? Only one celebrity please.
- If you could date any celebrity, who would it be and why?
- Depending on the answers to the previous 2 questions, answer one of the following: A) If the answer for #2 ISN'T your crush, why wouldn't you date your crush? B) If the answer to #2 IS your crush, then who would be your second choice to date and why?
For me, Jennette McCurdy (the actress who played Sam Puckett from iCarly) was and is my celebrity crush, and I would date her in a heartbeat if given the chance. She is drop dead gorgeous, reasonably close to me in age (3 years difference), and appears to be fairly kind (at least, most of the time); she has a bit of sass/snark to her, has a dark sense of humor, and can actually pretty funny... and yet she has this serious and sensitive side to her as well; she thinks of herself as being a bit introverted and nerdy; she was raised as LDS/Mormon, so we would have some potential common ground on spirituality; and she loves writing and directing, which overlaps with my love of storytelling (in any format). All in all, she seems to potentially have enough in common with me to where we could hit it off, but different to where both of us could fill in the weaknesses of the other, not easily get bored, and push each other to do new things.
My second choice would be Miranda Cosgrove, for some similar reasons as Jennette, though I don't know nearly as much about her. She seems like a sweetheart, and I have a soft spot for sweethearts.
