It's coming out next year and they're remaking the first 6 films/making all nine films. They're bringing back the old "grunting" before Batman 3, AND adding a toggle option for that and actual voice acting.

Also 360 degree camera EVERYWHERE

I still have fond memories of Luke's green lightsaber. My favorite color as a kid was green and to this day i think its the best looking lightsaber in the series (granted the video games have given it competition) the blade was just perfect. I don't think they ever managed to make a green lightsaber look that good ever since.

ok, I KNOW this isn't anywhere close to top quality, but this is a fake commercial I made for what Disney should do with Star Wars, make a land for each trilogy instead of having two of galaxy's edge (not that I'm complaining), tell me what you think.

Also, I've been thinking about Clone Wars, and since this 7th season is going to be about the Siege of Mandalore, I'm just wondering how they're gonna end it. And if they're gonna say that '03 Clone Wars is also canon. Because when I think about it, you can perfectly fit the '03 Clone Wars, the '08 Clone Wars and the Dark Horse Clone Wars comics all in one cohesive story without any contradictions...

Do you have any reason to think they'd canonize it or are you just thinking it'd be cool if they did.

I hope they do after a small amount of cherry picking. The arcs in 03 were outstanding.

I mean, I would love it if they canonized it. The miniseries is one of my favorite media properties in Star Wars. I just doubt they would unless they said something to indicate otherwise.

I mean, I don't see any reason why they shouldn't recanonize it. Vol 1 is basically a prelude to TCW, and Vol 2 is right after Ahsoka leaves the Order all up until ROTS. And my understanding is that the new TCW season will take place a little before and during ROTS.

Doesn't Volume 2 start before Anakin gets made a full Knight though?

Volume 2 also ends at the battle of coruscant so it would still fit.

The problem with making the 2003 series canon is that it’s part of Lucas’ original view of the Clone Wars where Anakin was only knighted towards the very end. For a time after Episode II came out, all the expanded universe material around the Clone Wars gave a very comprehensive timeline, and Anakin spends most of it as Obi-Wan’s padawan.

But Lucas mostly ignored it when he came up with the 2008 series. A defining part of the new take is that Anakin was knighted early on, and he had a padawan of his own for most of the war.

The new canon goes with the 2008 series, so it’s hard to reconcile.

True. The Disney canon I will say did have some valid grounds to abrogate legends when it comes to this.

But Dem legends books tho....
