PTS system activated for missile counter-measures

BREAKING- PTS anti-missile systems activated throughout the country today as a retaliatory missile strike came from Anavokyan communist. Thankfully, the Minister of War, Sofia Pühvel, acknowledged that the THAD system had not been activated. This clarified that ballistic missiles were not part of the retaliatory missile strike. A heavyweight that is lifted off the worrying shoulders of the Trekkish population. However, with good news comes bad news. Despite the PTS system having a success rate of 75%, it seems that a few missiles were able to make it through the defensive net. Reports show that one missile landed in the highlands of Treko but no one was hurt. Another missile landed in the Haapajärvi district near the outskirts of their capital city taking out a grain silo. Citizens that lived near the silo moved to secure areas by Military police and the area cordoned off to the public. Sadly, the last missile hit the community college in the Raahe district taking out a massive part in the east wing of the college. Reports are still coming in on casualties, but they estimated that the death toll is up in the hundreds. First responders note that if the fire isn't put out then they can't bring in search and rescue teams to find citizens trapped beneath the rubble. In all areas where the missiles have landed Military police and EOD began to analyze surviving wreckage. The hope is to better understand Anavokyan missiles and how to better protect against them.

High-Chancellor Yaroslav Tsvetkov expressed hate towards the communist in Anavokyan for targeting the nation so recklessly. The parliament has pushed to tear up the previous deal and call upon the ASAF to get boots on the ground in Anavokyan to, "Remove the cockroaches from the world." Public opinion for this has surged since the missile attack and it is speculated that support for action will continue to grow. As of now, the Trekkish military has been put on high alert. The Trekkish air force confirmed that 24/7 reconnaissance of Anavokya will be put into full effect. The ambassador in Lastrad, Liliya Nikonov, has informed the government that she is in talks with the Lastradian government to see about their potential involvement.

He had landed two minutes ago, and many paratroopers from the VDV were deployed across the country. The Armored forces were pushing into the capital of this city, and the military was avoiding foreign buildings for the time being. His radio was blaring as the local garrison had surrendered to a force of paratroopers as they were caught off guard. When he did reach a rally point he met up with several soldiers from his team and were heading to push on the local city. The city of St. Camille was named after the Catholic saint and was known for its fine cheese exports, and its vineyards. From what he gathered on the radio, the Anasolakian Police forces were fighting some soldiers, in the cities edges. Many exected the nation to fall soon.

The situation in Anavokya has now gone from bad to worse in a matter of days, the so-called revolution has spread to the Republic of Stravel, and Anaslovakia has been invaded. In Anasolovkia a small military detachment was still present and was being called to the nation's embassy at this time. The embassy to Anavokya was also being recalled, and the 3rd Fleet was deploying a carrier group to the region. She had also called for a summit to all local leaders on the situation of recent hostilities, this included members of ASAF, and neutral parties who are being threatened by the expansionist policy of the communist rebels that have claimed a people's state.

For the nations attending the summit, it was asked the head of state, and their head defense official comes to the summit.

Currently, Arcadian Forces in Krausser Joint Base and Schaus Kaserne have been put on alert, and if requested be deployed along with side local military forces in the Trekkish Federation. The Carrier group was also sent a request to the Trekkish Federation on the housing of the carrier group for its deployment, and at this time no response has been made. Air Corps units in the area have not yet been deployed, and if tensions worsened there would be a possible deployment of Arcadian troops to the region.

Earlier this morning President Kryštof Rmoutil held a press meeting, explaining the events of what recently occurred in Treko and Anavokyan.

“The attacks on our brothers in Treko cannot go unnoticed by the government of Lastrad. Due to our nation’s proximity and history with Treko, we too must remain vigilant and strong as the communists attempt to push their agenda. I have asked Prime Minister Opustil to press the senate for the authorization to mobilize our forces, in defense of the Lastradian people and our Trekkish brothers.”

He continued to say that the Lastradian military would support the Trekkish commanders, and we shall not take a lead role. The president has authorized the mobilization of the Volunteer Legion; one of the only actions he is able to undertake individually. 24,00 men and women have already signed up to work with the Trekkish forces, embedded and on the front lines. And the Lastradian Armed Forces remain on high alert, preparing to deploy at any time. It is unknown when the Senate will finish voting on the matter, but it is almost certain that the motion to assist Treko will pass.

The TV rattled off more and more information. The room was dark as Niko Gjorov sat in bed. Despite the fan and the time of night it was still quite warm. The phone rang and Niko picked it up knowing exactly who was calling. After a brief conversation he hung up the phone and walked to his closet to put on his suit. Everyone in the upper echelon was being beckoned to the Capital Building.

The following morning Niko Gjorov retreated from the War Room. He had been there since 1230 am and it was currently 0930, just in time for coffee and donuts. With weary eyes complimented by bags he trudge down the hallway. It had been a long night of discussion bickering and arguing back and forth. Ultimately it was his decision to make as long as Autarch Tennfjord approved it. What he sent to the Autarch was a request for immediate action in retaliation to the Anavokya Missiles fired at Treko. Firstly he wanted two Airborne Birgades within the AO of Anavokya. Secondly he would send in Aerial Combat Controllers to help conduct Counter Anti-Air operations. Thirdly he would eventually ask for boots on the ground starting with Airborne Operations shortly after disabling SAM sites along with the bombardment of military cities of value with the BMV12. He had the option of using both static and mobile Tactical Missile Squadrons but figured a mobile BMV12 in the AO would be better suited to the needs of the military operations to be conducted in Anavokya. It was still only 0930 and there was much planning to be done. Niko stood waiting in line for coffee completely zoned out as the gears in his head turned. He wasn't the Minister of War for no reason, he had a great head on his shoulders and proved it time and time again as a former commander in the Army.

We have learned that The Republic of Altos and Stratis will be submitting a resolution to condemn The Empire of Sevevill to The Markion Union Security Council within the next few days. The resolution will reportedly address Sevevillian acts of aggression against the United City States of Oceania, its continuing occupation of Diyaristan, and allegations of ethnic cleansing and human rights abuses throughout its territories.

My eyelids felt heavy and I could feel the comforting blanket of sleep descending upon my body. I wanted to accept it but every bump in the road jostled me back awake and left me in a dazed state. The only time I felt even close to falling asleep is when our convoy stopped to refuel. However, that was few and far between. I soon came to the conclusion that sleep was never an option and resorted to reading the government newspaper that I had put away into a free pocket on my right leg. The crinkling of the newspaper grabbed the attention of a few nearby soldiers but their attention diminished then they returned to their previous activities. I flicked the newspaper upright and began to read article after article. Nonetheless, my attention was always drawn to the obvious. The coming unknown between Treko and the communist. Event after event seemed to be pointing to the obvious.

Higher Ups didn't sugar coat anything. My brigade was merely part of Korps that was mobilized to the southern border. I wish I could say that only one Korps was going but I'd only be lying to myself. Multiple Korps had been mobilized to set up defenses in depth on the border. More troops were being held in reserve in nearby districts but I doubt they would be held in reserve for long. The FASC reported that "communist," revolution had not stopped and was spreading into the Republic of Stravel. It seemed that the nation of Anaslovakia had already fallen to the red menace. Chancellor Jule Beaulne of the FASC called for a summit which the head of state and their minister of war would have to attend. High-Chancellor Yaroslav Tsvetkov didn't hesitate and agreed to attend the summit. I don't blame him. You need all the help you can get to squash the communist cockroaches.

Our Longtime commonwealth ally Lastrad had also agreed to stand with us against the communist menace. Despite their rather small population they still offered help. The news it seemed was rather uplifting yet as I reached the part on Sjovenia the convoy came to a stop. I squashed the paper in my hands and threw it underneath my seat before grabbing my rifle and disembarking.

Arrival of the Official Party

Autarch Tennfjord and Minister of War Niko Gjorov stepped out from the vehicle. It had been a couple days since the initial attack and Niko had to excuse himself from the High Command meetings. The air was cool and the skies were partly cloudy. Minister Gjorov had never been to Arcadia and wasn't sure what to expect. Autarch Tennfjord saluted a soldier who had rendered a salute shortly after opening the vehicle door. After the salute was dropped the soldier went back to attention and Autarch Tennfjord continued walking. The building was grand in scheme but lacked a certain...Autocratic design. At the front doors awaited an envoy of sorts. He stood tall and proud with broad shoulders and a smile on his face. Minister Gjorov extended a hand and the two shook before the Autarch did much the same. The envoy, or door greeter, opened the door and the two walked inside.

Granovo was the closest town to the training center. It was 50 miles away from the Antarkt Test & Training Range (ATTR) checkpoint and only 2 miles away from the no entry zone. General Tita Selimi of the Air Force and General Besim Aganovič were being accompanied by the Commander of the 161st Airborne Division. In accordance with the requests of the Minister of War and for overall Force Preparedness the Command General of the Armed Forces ordered more training and military exercises to be conducted. An 80% Armed Forces wide Mission Capable Rate was to be achieved by the end of the quarter. General Selimi and General Aganovič were overseeing an Airborne jump to assess flaws and discuss tactics.

Within thirty minutes of the VIPs arriving at the dropzone by car a radio buzzed to life. "Hawk to Eagle" a voice said speaking out over the crackling signal. "Eagle Lima Charlie...." said the Commander. "C-17s are 10 minutes out...heading from a southwest to north east course of direction. Airborne troops will be jumping into Lima Zulu 226 at location 10 tango echo tango 4016". The radio went silent after the final number, the Commander looked at General Aganovič and nodded. Together all three stood facing the southwest direction with a clear view of the landing zone. Eight minutes of silence went by as the three waited when they finally saw the silhouette of the aircraft. Two minutes later it was within a three miles of them, little green dots began to pour out of the back bay. At first it was nothing but a mere dot that quickly grew into a tear drop shape. Within minutes the sky was littered with green circles and silhouetted men falling gracefully to the ground. Both Generals and the Commander watched with keen eyes. The Commander video taped the event while the two Generals jotted down in their note books occasionally. As the planes slowly left view the last few paratroopers drifted downwards. The radio cackled to life, this time it was the C-17 Pilot speaking. "Cargo deployed, last man out, heading back to base."

The first move in the security council was made by Markion Union member the Republic of Altos and Statis in condemning the Empire of Sevevill for launching several offensive conflicts, ethnic cleansing and attacks on non-combatants. The Arcadian delegate to the Security Council has voted in favor of the Republic of Altos and Stratis citing the firebombings in Dacruz during the war with the USC which Sevevill firebombed Arcadian citizens during the liberation of several cities across Dacruz.

The Summit was well underway with dignitaries and ASAF officials alike filling the government building that was located in downtown Casatolo, the capital of the Arcadian Federation. Many countries brought their head of state and their defense minister. The ASAF officials were to talk of the workings of the intervention while the politicians from each nation would discuss the possibilities of military intervention.

The summit was going to begin with the Trekkish delegation due to the recent skirmish on their border. In the Congress of Nations, there were talks of a peacetime deployment. This like all military deployments must be passed by Congress under one of the many new laws the federation came with. At this time the only military personnel that is in the area are in the joint brigades and the two small bases in the Trekkish Federation.

There was still an hour before the summit began so the Chancellor was going to meet with her fellow heads of state to catch up or acquaint herself with them. She knew many of the leaders personally that were attending such as the Trekkish High Chancellor Yaroslav Tsvetkov. When she saw Chancellor Tsvetkov she walked over to him, and shook his hand and asked: "its been a long time how have things been?"

Upon agreements between Slaveška, Rudony, and Janissero the JADF Multi-Role Fighter series 16 Mk II Demo Team has arrived at Hewylthelnr Naval Base.The MRF-16 Mk II is a two seater fighter jet equipped with a Sniper Pod for air to ground missiles enabling more accurate blows to targets on the ground. This fighter was nicknamed Valeria by Janissian Pilots for its strength and resiliency no matter the mission. JADF Pilots will be conducting a four week training course along with Slaveškan Subject Matter Experts to help Rudony modernize its Air Forces capabilities.

Slaveškan factory worker prepares to inspect intake of the Ni-16 at the Nikola System’s assembly line located in the Eifelstern District

The CEO of Nikola Systems met Chairman of Commerce Mina Štravs and Minister of Foreign Affairs Drago Zevnik to discuss an international contract last week. Rudon Minister of Defense Jarvvyls Reedun announced a bid and Nikola Systems answered. Both Chairman Štravs and Minister Zevnik discussed terms with Minister Yerylth Osenary (Minister of Economics) and Minister Reedun. Terms were set politically and the rest was to be discussed with Nikola Systems.

Nikola Systems signed a contract with Rudon Armed Forces to produce and deliver the Ni-16 Fighter Jet. Nikola Systems also provides the Ni-16 to the Janissero Air Defense Force (known as the MRF-16 Mk II aka Valeria). General Selimi approved Flight School instructors and Nikola System’s Ni-16 Engineers to a four week TDY to Rudony to conduct familiarization and system training with Rudon Pilots. The JADF MRF-16 Mk II Demo Team arrived at the location earlier today. JADF Public Affairs personnel stated this was a great way for Janissero to contribute to it’s community despite the hoops and red tape required to get access and clearance from Rudon Officials.

The Chairman of Commerce notes that there was a surge in employment numbers as Nikola Systems opened the assembly lines and hired on more employees to help with the contract. “At least 12,000 people gained employment and we can expect to see good numbers on the Slaveškan economy as well...” Chairman Štravs said in an interview. “We can’t wait to see what this does politically for both countries.”

Nikola Systems has also been contracted to design the R155 Howitzer. The R155 is a Slaveškan made, Rudon used 155mm towable howitzer and appears to be the biggest towable howitzer on the market. Rudon Army Officials made no comment and Nikola Systems stated they will be releasing a press statement after testing at the Antarkt Testing & Training Range (ATTR).

The Civil Service Qualification test is the test that will decide the jobs you qualify for, for the time required to be in service. The Arcadian Civil Service has its roots grounded in the enlightened ideals of our revolution against the Kaiser, a revolution that freed the people and created the republic we enjoy today. Civil Service is a core belief of the Republican ideology our nation has based its government on.

This test is a taken by students in their junior or senior year and are at least 17 years of age. If you don't meet both of these requirements please raise your hand and the proctors will escort you out of the room. There are no wrong answers to this test, this test can be retaken at any point before you graduate. The most recent score will be saved, not your best score.

Cheating, or breaking any set rules for this test that have been explained to you in the past week will result in your test being voided. This will force you to wait a year, if you graduate before then you risk losing your citizenship. Failure to show for the test will result in a retake to be scheduled, and if not taken before you graduate you can have your citizenship revoked. No matter your score there will be a job open to you. The higher score you have means you will have a higher chance of getting the job you want as you will be competing nationwide for open jobs. Above all...

When Mr. Weiss finished talking Marcus, and the others began the test. The test covered about nine sections with about thirty to forty questions each. The test lasted for about four hours before it was finished. Marcus finished the test ten minutes early, he was wondering how Wenzel and Anja were doing on the test. Wenzel was trying to get into the scientific reserve, and Anja stayed up all night partying with Swen, and a bunch of other people. When they were released it was about time for lunch, this morning before the test they sad they would meet at their usual table. When he got there Anja was half asleep with her hoodie over her head, and Wenzel tapping his foot against the floor. Marcus was pretty nervous too, but he honestly didn't know what he was going to do no matter his score.

They were all told after the test they would get their results in three days max. Marcus sat down and asked Wenzel "How long did it take?" Wenzel at first was confused but then saw Marcus pointing at Anja and he replied: "Oh, ten seconds." Marcus hunched over and began to poke Anja and she replied: "fuck off." Marcus kept on while laughing until Anja sat up, and said: "What do you want?" Marcus spoke, "How do you guys think you did?"

Three Days later

Today was the day they would get their test scores back, and go to a 'job fair' with a bunch of jobs on the civil service roster, and of course the list with all the jobs. Homeroom was quiet with the teacher passing out a sticker with people's scores that they would wear. The stickers were like the 'hello my name is' stickers. For some, it was no big deal, but for those who did terrible on it, it was a day full of absolute shame. Wenzel got a 98, which the top score was a 99. Anja got put in the 56th percentile. When Mr. Wiess got up to Marcus, he spoke: "I'm surprised I didn't think you had it in you." and gave him a sticker with a 76.

When they got to the job fair, you had just about every major group in the civil service, and the local guys like Parish, and city utility services. A lot of the guys in the 20's would have to go to those guys just because it would be their only option. They, of course, when to the scientific reserve guys who were all over Wenzel and gave them the evil eye. Wenzel got their information for an interview, and after a few more minutes they left. Marcus and Anja couldn't wait to get away from those guys. While they were walking away they congratulated Wenzel on his planned interview. The rest of the job fair went by pretty quick. Anja looked at being a nurse's assistant or the Aid Corps, and the State Department's National Security Service looked great. Marcus had found what he wanted to do. He could see the world, go in other branches of the state department after his civil service. All three of them would have interviews at the end of the week.

Six Months later(present day)

He had been on the job for a few weeks, and he was posted at the front gate. He wore a dark blue uniform with a blue kepi. His rank was on his shoulders, which was one chevron as he was only an officer. His black boots went up to his knees, and his collar was tight. Marcus talked to Wenzel last night who was in Casatolo for the scientific reserve keeping logs at the archives. Anja was sitting on her ass in a hangar in Dacruz smoking dope last time they talked. Marcus just thought to himself he should've gone the Aid Corps route with Anja. He stood at the gate with Luca Mitter whom he had befriended when he got here. They were on the same flight here and went through the academy together.

This post, unlike the other security postings, had them confined to the embassy due to the nature of the politics of the region. Marcus couldn't wait for possible reassignment halfway through his service his the embassy signs off on it.

Despite having an obligation to be involved in diplomatic summits due to being the head of state I was rather withdrawn at this summit. The only person I had a truly long conversation with at the summit was my Minister of War. However, she disappeared into the crowd of dignitaries and ASAF officials early on. She was more of a people person than I was. If given the choice I would have just sent her here by herself. I had more pressing matters back home. The red menace was becoming a bigger threat and the mobilization of troops to the border wasn't easing the situation whatsoever. Though overhearing officials and dignitaries talking about how their nations would help certainly eased my mind. Even the first order of business at the summit was the issue regarding the recent skirmish on our border. My only concern was that the peacetime deployment was passed in the Congress of Nations.

Whilst in the midst of small talk with an ASAF official I too notice of Jule Beaulne. She was the Chancellor of the Arcadian Federation. Despite the nature of our jobs, I considered her a personal friend. When she approached me I met her handshake.

"its been a long time how have things been?"

“If you don’t count the border skirmish then everything is fine,” I replied with a grin across my face, “That being said, the family is doing well. Vladislav just entered service following his graduation from high school and little Zhanna just entered elementary school! I’m proud of them and so is Vesna. However, she was sad for a few days after Vladislav left, but she is better now. Now enough about me. What about you?”

Whilst in the midst of small talk with an ASAF official I too notice of Jule Beaulne. She was the Chancellor of the Arcadian Federation. Despite the nature of our jobs, I considered her a personal friend. When she approached me I met her handshake.

"Things have been going well, Reiner has been sick the past few days, so my wife has been forced to stay up all night. These long nights are going to be the end of me." the Chancellor said just as the beginning of the summit was to be called. They were in a circular chamber, with the seats shaped like a semi-circle. Leaders from each attending nation including the Chancellor were sitting in these seats, while a moderator, and whoever would be speaking would be in the center of the room. The Moderator was Vice-Chancellor Norman Becker.

The First speaker was Chancellor Yaroslav due to the recent horrible attacks that were conducted against his nation.

Janissian Air Defense MRF-16 and Slaveškan Ka-35 sit at a Janissian Air Base

Minister of Foreign Affairs announced that the MSAF and JADF agreed to open a base in Janissero. Sončni Air Field will house BC-1 Bombers and Ka-35 Interceptors with a small detachment of Go-90 Helicopters. A spokesman from the MSAF stated this would help secure air superiority in the area and booster Janissero’s Air Defense. The primary mission of the Ka-35s is to support the Navy and the BC-1 Bombers. The Spokesman wouldn’t take further questions but did mention that the BC-1s stationed in Treko currently were on alert and ready to deploy at a moments notice thanks to escalating tensions with Anavokya.

Niko Gjorov wandered through the lobby of mingling people. Autarch Tennfjord has excused himself to the balcony. Niko was inclined to follow but figured the Autarch needed his space, he always did enjoy cigars. Niko did not, he never smoked a day in his life but once as a young soldier.

As Niko walked around glancing at the many faces he passed he stopped to admire a particular piece of artwork. A warm streak of yellow pierced the black abyss as slivers of green slowly weaved back and forth. It seemed to be a field in Niko’s mind...he began to zone out. As his eyes followed each wave and studied each curve his mind suddenly flung him back.

”Gjorov! Pull your head out of your ass!”

Niko came to flustered and in a daze. His eyes no longer glazing over with stress and fear. “06 Alpha 10 09 09 03!” He shouted back. “06 Alpha 10 09 09 03!” A fellow soldier shouted in response as he quickly did the math. Niko stared at the map, his mind was running a million miles a minute as he used his compass and gauge to grid another set of coordinates. He quickly did a double check as his eyes scanned the topography. His eyes following each wave and curve...

Niko came to and snapped out of it. His time in the army served him well but every so often he would relive a flashback. He quickly turned around before noticing the Trekkish Minister of War not too far away. “Sofia Pülveh?” He said with a smile as he introduced himself.”Niko Gjorov, Minister of War of Slaveška.” Niko could tell this woman had also served her time. The right side of her face had scarring that resembled burn marks. Perhaps pulling a comrade from a burning vehicle, perhaps from explosive ordinance. Niko was quite impressed with the wall of ribbons and medals displayed on her chest.

BREAKING- Since the retaliatory missile attack by Anavokya it seems that our government has no intention of de-escalating hostilities at all. Despite the High-Chancellor and Minister of War being out of the country, our armed forces continue to build up on the border. At the moment our sources speculate that forces at the border are around 500,000 and rising considerably. I reached out to General Vitya Novikov, the administrator for the Southern Border Districts. It was my intention to question General Novikov on the speculated numbers. However, my crew and I were ordered by the Trekkish Military Council that conducting interviews on this matter would not occur anytime soon. Our failed attempt to conduct an interview with General Novikov we set off to the Southern Border District of Lappeenranta. It was our hope to see the build up forces ourselves to confirm the numbers. We avoided the main roads at any cost so to not draw any attention. When markers on the road told us to turn back we began to see an increase in military presence. The first thing to show itself was Jet aircraft which on occasion flew low over the trees making them shake in their wake. IFVs, AFVs, and Tanks loudly made use of the main roads then would quickly drive off into the dirt and disappear behind a cloud of dirt that they kicked up. Every so often we would come across a Command Center which was draped in camouflage for concealment. It was during the passing of a Command Center when we took notice of 3 vehicles tailing us. As we continued driving onward they pulled up to either side of our vehicle and the final vehicle pulled up behind us. The vehicle behind us rear-ended us and the driver motioned for us to pull over. When we came to a stop a group of 4 men in all black stepped out of each vehicle. Nonetheless, only 1 man approached and suggested we step out of the vehicle. As to not cause a problem we did and we were arrested. Immediately we were searched and our video equipment was confiscated. During the search, I took notice of the patch on the back of one of the men's plate carriers. It read, “TOBO(Trekkish Отдел Внутренних Операций),” which translated means Trekkish Internal Operations Division. The man questioned us about our intentions despite me telling him multiple times we were journalists. After an hour or two, my crew and I were escorted away from the border. I was told if we returned they would detain us until hostilities between Treko and Anavokya calmed down.

Ambassador Delvin Sólymos, Markion Union Headquarters, Avibéliard, Kingdom of Alluscia

Mr. Sólymos was just about been done with politics. From his career as a member of the Urlistan national council, to a brief stint Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Green Union, to a basic desk job in the Kamooko Pact, his experience on a whole had only hammered home the point that government work was better suited for computers than people. It was a pity he had not been born Albatanian; the Clossonist Party was looking pretty good right about now.

Yet despite all of this, when the old man had been asked to postpone his retirement by a few years in order to take a job as the PGU ambassador to the Markion Union, Mr. Sólymos had found it hard to turn down the request. As much as he wanted to go back to Urlistan and live out the rest of his life, the man knew it would not be possible. Despite how much it would help in his line of work, Delvin was not a machine. He had a heart, and that heart knew that he would not be able to enjoy retired life until his work was done.

And so it was that old Ambassador Sólymos turned to the council speaker, cocking his head slightly. He made no attempt to stand to deliver his statement, both because he did not like the idea of what it would do to his joints and because he felt that in his age he had earned the right to sit.

“The Green Union will abstain from this vote.”

The statement was delivered clearly and firmly, the old political veteran’s deep seated doubt and apprehension fully concealed by decades of practice in saying things he did not believe. Inside, though, the man’s heart was heavy. His government had the power to veto the madness of Resolution 001, potentially delaying or avoiding a major confrontation between the newly formed Markion Union and the Empire of Sevevill. Yet they had instead told him to take his hands off the wheel and let things proceed as they may.

Sitting back in his seat, the weary ambassador’s mind invariably drifted to friends and family working in Diyaristan and elsewhere. If they were harmed as a result of this, he knew he would have to blame himself in this moment.

Outbreak of Fungal Infection Causes Discontent in Rudony

With a recent outbreak of a never before encountered species of fungus in Rudshore, the capital of Rudony, many have become concerned with the state of health and safety in Rudony. At the current time, only 17 people are known to carry the infection that appears to be parasitic in nature, living off the body and causing the victim to become paralysed at later stages of the infection. So far the infected have been contained and are receiving medical attention from Rudony's national health service with the support of CBRN units from the Rudon Marines. There is no real danger currently however the government has released a statement asking Rudon to wash thoroughly, wear a mask if in the capital (freely given), and eat carefully while they figure out what is happening as the fungus appears to be highly infectious. Some flights have been cancelled and some restrictions on travel in Rudshore have been put in place.

In other news, Empress Andraste has expressed her deepest gratitude to the people of the armed and medical services for potentially risking their lives to save the poor people who have been stricken with this horrible disease. The Empress also extended her hand to the Autarch of Sjovenia, Ferdinand Tennfjord to come to visit in light of recent trade between the nations. In addition, the Empress also announced that Rudony will be joining the Cuartenar Commerce Guild to strengthen trade bonds all over Markion.

Pit stop during the last race

Slaveškan international race team, “Laško Alpine Racing”, leads 225 points over the Altos&Stratis race team which currently holds 191 points. Laško Alpine Racing is a team owned by Možnost Siva’s father Gorad Siva. Last year Možnost signed on with LARs along with Janissero’s Alissa Gallio. So far Alissa has been outracing her teammate in every race this season. When asked for a few words for this season this is what they had to say...

Alissa Gallio: “I’m really happy to be signed on with LARs [Laško Alpine Racing]! The Altos & Stratis Team is doing really well this year so the rivalry is real both on and off the track.”

Možnost: “I was doing really well in the national leagues and thought I might be able to handle myself well here on the international stage but it’s proving tougher than expected! Today I placed ninth which was well below our goal of fourth or higher. Despite this, it’s really awesome working for my father having him by my side managing and discussing the team tactics and behind the scenes of what is the Markion F1 GP.”
