Was trying to grill dinner, goddesses freaking water broke. To wet to cook outdoors

I doubt either. But we can hope for the best.

Such as a new kind of affliction, perhaps awoken from the melting permafrost, that renders the overwhelming majority of humanity sterile. Think of the massive steps that are going to be taken in the fields of biotechnology!

Nice to see something for a change.
I think I just devised a new cure to hiccups — go to the toilet, bend your torso (not kneeling) and try to vomit or burp by placing your tongue in the way of the gullet/windpipe. Did it just now and the hiccups stopped.

That... doesn't sound healthy at all. Surely just holding your breath for a minute or gulping down a glass of water might work better?

I should try that next time. Loud noises help too.

Well, maybe... but now that Pasong Tirad here told me it sounds unhealthy, I don’t know... will continue to use the method, though.
And loud noises? I sound like I’m moaning when I do that. Tried that yesterday and almost woke everyone in the house up.
Let me also say that I’ve done this method several times and they always work.

Listening to the 1812 Overture with cannons always works, too.
