Oregon Republicans facing arrest

So it seems that the Republican Caucus in the Oregon State Senate has fled the chamber and possibly the state in order to prevent quorum and thus leave the chamber unable to function, specifically to block the passage of a Climate Change bill. As a result, the Governor has authorised State Troopers to arrest them in order to return them back to the Capitol.

Now ordinarily this'd probably be the end of it, except now at least one Senator is issuing threats to kill any Trooper that attempts to do so.

This is just striking me as incredibly childish, even by the standards that Republican caucuses have already demonstrated in the era of the Trump Regime. Plus the whole thing about the supposedly "Law And Order" focused party now having elected representatives threatening to kill law enforcement officers for attempting to carry out their duties. So in short I don't know whether to laugh or be utterly disappointed. But I digress. What do you all think about this matter?
