Well lookie here, 3 fascists hate the 1st Amendment as much as they hate the 2nd Amendment, Although I'm not all that shocked since they hate enumerated rights or despise them, let alone trying to put a genie back in a bottle that has been roaming free since the founding of this country.
Legislation would outlaw the distribution of blueprints for 3D printed firearms
Sens. Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) and Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) and Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL) introduced legislation last week that would make it illegal to distribute online blueprints and instructions that detail how to automatically program a 3D printer to produce or manufacture a firearm.

Yes, lets introduce legislation that will harm a part of the economy all because of a hate boner for anything freedom related for a problem or harm that doesn't exist.
3D printed firearms are made out of plastic. This makes them untraceable because they do not have serial numbers. It also means they can bypass metal detectors at security checkpoints.

This right here is complete bullshit, I cannot believe that anyone would believe this.

The bill was cosponsored by more than 50 senators and representatives

In other words, 50 fucking fascists that hate enumerated rights and freedom.

And then there is this fucking inbred halfwit.
Swalwell’s Latest Gun Control Proposal: Universal Gun Registration, Gun Rationing, 200-Round Ammo Limit

So, what sort of gun control will cure the ills that lurk in the 2% of American counties that have 51% of the murders?

A 48-hour cooling-off period between the time a person purchases a firearm and the time they take possession of it.

As a resident of Illinois, I love when they make me wait 72 hours to pick up a new gun purchase as a “cooling off period” when I’m already carrying not one, but two loaded guns on my person. Makes perfect sense, right?

Implement background checks for all firearm and ammunition purchases.

Because criminals never steal their guns.

Require that liability insurance be purchased before a person can buy, trade, or otherwise receive a firearm.

Such an animal doesn’t currently exist. Seems insurance companies don’t like to cover willful torts…and finding a home intruder in your teenage daughter’s bedroom with his pants down and then shooting him six times is certainly no accident.

Create a national firearm registry that is linked to individual firearms, and require that all purchases, transfers, and donations of firearms be mandatorily registered.

That worked well for the Jews in 1930s Germany, didn’t it? Or the Russians in Stalin’s early days. Or Cambodians, or Chinese. And in each and every one of those cases, no doubt people said ‘genocide could never happen here.’ Until it did.

Prohibit individuals from purchasing more than one handgun per 30-day period.

Gun rationing! Maybe we could limit the Washington Post to one issue per 30-day period.

Prohibit the online sale of ammunition.

Because they didn’t have the Internet back in the 1780s.

Ban and buy back bump stocks, large-capacity magazines that are capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition, and silencers.

Wait, didn’t we already ban “bump stocks”?

Prohibit individuals from hoarding ammunition in quantities exceeding 200 rounds per caliber or gauge.

Two hundred rounds? Attending a Project Appleseed event requires about 400 rounds of ammo. The class for school teachers that GSL Defense Training just put on had students shooting 250 rounds. And don’t get me started on Mas Ayoob’s 1000-round classes. Or other nationally known instructors who burn through even more in a single class.

Repealing the Protection for Lawful Commerce in Guns Act.

Perhaps we can sue carmakers for criminal acts committed by people who use their products as well? Or breweries. How about suing Congresscritters who vote for unconstitutional laws?

Prohibit states from arming teachers.

Because we wouldn’t want to protect our precious children with armed good guys like we protect Congress with armed security.

Here is the deal: With the exception of repeal of the Protection for Lawful Commerce in Guns Act, I don’t see a single one of Swalwell’s proposals lasting through a Supreme Court challenge.

How about the equivalent of a poll tax to exercise an enumerated negative right?
Dems Push Mandatory Permits for Handgun Purchases
The legislation, backed by Dems in both the House and Senate, would encourage more states to adopt licensing schemes like Connecticut’s handgun purchasing law, which requires a special renewable permit to purchase any revolver or pistol. Dubbed the Handgun Purchaser Licensing Act, the bill was introduced by U.S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland and Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy of Connecticut along with U.S. Reps. Jahana Hayes, D-Conn and Jamie Raskin, D-Md.

Hey look, more fascist oath breaking, wankstained shitbricks who have no business being in Congress, then again, blumenthal is use to being a faker and an oath breaker.

New York just became the 14th state to allow Illegal Aliens to obtain drivers licenses, which means that the underlining issues causing these problems for legal gun owners will likely be spreading.

I wouldn't mind losing New York to the British it will be one less freedom hating state to deal with.

Why shouldn't a teacher who wants to voluntarily carry a gun and passes all the required safety training be allowed to do so?

Teachers work in high stress environments under bad conditions and terrible pay-do you really think that’s a good combination with a bunch of annoying kids?

And that’s not getting into the problem of kids stealing the gun, teachers using it to pressure their students into certain situations, and how accessible it’d have to be to be useful in a shooting situation.

Your first point is stupid. The vast majority of people do not respond to stress and lousy pay with homicide.

A locked desk or using a holster solves both accessibility issues and teachers already are in a position to pressure kids, a gun does little to increase their persuasion beyond their already larger bodies. So, that'd be three strikes. Next batter!
