Why shouldn't a woman who's more qualified than the average cadet be able to join the military?

Then why not have two votes per household?

What would you say to a stable loving homosexual couple of two men equally qualified to vote? Which one of them gets the vote?

Do you really have a hard time understanding that gay couples wouldn't be legal in the society that Dio wants?

I suspect it maybe. But he hasn't outright stated he wants to criminalize homosexuality, and until he does, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he doesn't. Assuming the worst in people is a bad habit to pick up when debating.

All the great men of history pass down their souls into all of us; those millions who are heirs to their spirit and their thinking. We are all, in a sense, reincarnations of these great souls, and reflect both their origin and their continued development within us.

No I don't actually believe that but it's a nice intro innit?

I must admit, this is slightly disappointing when other people are getting the likes of Constantine, Casamir and Frederick the Great.

Also, I've put up a new poll. This one probably won't run for as long but it's something I'm interested in canvassing opinions on.

I expected Kobo Daishi or Honen, but this is still good.

Though this tells me that I'm probably going to be assassinated for being too belligerent to the barbarians. :?

I don't exactly consider nationalism and patriotism synonymous with one another. Very closely linked for sure, but different still.

I feel quite comfortable describing myself as a nationalist or an ultranationalist even but I'm not quite sure I could call myself a patriot as I feel little love for the American republic as it currently exists.

Very few people do. The Republic has become a sick Oligarchy which only operates to the benefit of a very small few.

To be a nationalist but not a patriot seems, not like throwing the baby out with the bathwater, but like throwing just the baby out, and raising dirty bathwater as your child.

Honestly you don't come across as much of an ultra-nationalist. I feel like an ultra-nationalist would blend religion and nationalism or be more bellicose. Of course, you could believe that the President should declare himself son of Jupiter and inaugurate an American Neo-Hellenist Empire, but you seem too sane really.

You have a stronger touch of modernity about you. And I thought it appropriate considering his contribution to One-Nation Conservatism. Is there a figure you think suits you better? I chose Disraeli as a modern, forward-thinking man nevertheless dedicated to upholding the traditions and institutions of his nation, and its glory.

I still support America putting itself and its interests above anyone else's, I just openly admit I have little love for the current incarnation of the state and how it functions while doing so. If that makes sense.

Most people hate the current imcarnation of the state. To be a patriot isn't really to support the current state. It means identifying with and upholding the values of your country and wanting what's best for you country.
