He had almost died once already just three days prior, falling overboard and nearly drowning in the freezing cold water after he had failed to properly fix a railing due to inadequate supplies. The Captain, in a drunken rage, had scolded Bennet severely for slacking off and nearly getting himself killed in the process. Before he had punished Bennett to cleaning the cabins for a week, he had called him a "stupid, lazy, and spoiled brat" who had "no sense of self-preservation whatsoever". Another gust of wind blew into Bennett's face, snapping him out of his thoughts. Bennett sighed angrily and scooped up a few books to put on a shelf. Soon, he thought bitterly to himself, I'll be in charge of that damned Captain and I'll make sure he never forgets my name.

OP here: sorry to have missed this over the last few days, honestly the RP is still going, still only in its early stages. That said seems most have drifted away but there's still a few that are keeping things going so hey I'll keep going. If you got a decent sample for me to read, I'll consider it, and you're free to do what you please in regards to canon. Fill out an App or two and we'll go from there!
