Vajra Automobiles has been manufacturing cars for 10 years, having produced models such as the 1st version of the Kanaka and the Mahira. Vajra Automobiles specialises in sports cars and luxury sedans, but we are also looking to spread out. The new SUV called "Balvaan" will be coming soon to your nearest dealership. Vajra Automobiles is driven by the passion for cars and the happiness of people.

OUR HISTORY

Vajra Automobiles was founded in August 2012 by Devadas Patel. Devdas Patel was born on 12th July 1982 in Suryapur, Suryapur District, Gujarat, Pratapgadh. From his childhood, he always paid attention to the details and designs of various types of vehicles. He became facinated of cars when he 9 years old, his favourite car till this date is the Nayak Chetak, a sports sedan his father bought in 1992. When he was 12 years old, he started working with his father in the garage to fix various types of vehicles, from small simple cars, to beautiful sports cars. When he left high school at age 18, he went to Chittorgarh University and studied Automotive Technology Management for 4 years. He got his degree and started off by working in his garage with his brother, Varun Patel. They earned money by repairing peoples cars, but Devdas wasn't happy. Devdas wanted to create a luxury brand, which would be known and respected by the whole world. He worked with his brother for 2 years and then joined the Nayak Motor Company. He worked in the company as a mechanic for 6 years, gaining lots of experience. He then left the comapny to start his own brand, Vajra Automobiles.

The company's first model was the Vajra Moolyavaan, a luxury sedan which has seating for 4 people. It had 4.0L V-8 which produced 300 horsepower and had torque output of 420 N-m. The models were sold for $80,000, and the company were able to sell 300 units.
