I want everyone here to read this article above and tell me we aren't living in the TV show Southpark. We all have heard of anti vaxxers who think flu shots are dangerous, creationists who think evolution is a lie, flat earthers who think this planet is shaped like a pancake and moon landing deniers who think we never sent Neil Armstrong to take one small step for man, but when you read this article your hope for the future of mankind will die. I have never seen such idioticness in all my life. It happened while I was reading online about human skin color in order to try and determine what my skin color was and I accidentally (and unfortunately) stumbled across this article. Many of you probably expect this to be some vile racist diatribe but honestly that would have been better than what I found. This is way worse ladies and gentlemen. Someone totally rewrote history and geology as we know it and when I say history, I don't mean like world war II or ancient Egypt or rome, I mean they rewrote human migration out of Africa in the dumbest and most insane way possible. Tell me what you think in the comments section below after you read the article, I'm sure either hilarity or disappointment will ensue.

So, obviously, I'm not going to bother refuting this nonsense point by point. But for anyone who is wondering what's actually going on with skin color in the Americas:
1) Amerindians are relative newcomers, and are descended from relatively light-skinned populations. (Not enough time)
2) Average skin color has not only to do with local sunlight conditions, but with the availability of shade. (Forests are dark)
3) The map is wrong. Or, at least not very detailed. There are greater variations in skin tone in the Americas then are depicted. Especially near the Andes Mountains where high altitude and lack of shade make sun exposure a problem, and average skin tones are darker.

This decade could be dubbed as the "decade of Technophobia" or as the "Post-fact era".
