Elua was in her suite, looking through her dresses. She eventually picked a pink one with a yellow-green-red design around the torso and black-blue cuffs and hem. As with most of her clothing, it was traditional Rezmaeri dress. Next, Elua picked some jewelry to wear, sliding loose, colorful bracelets over her sleeves, and putting on a maroon skullcap with a purple-white-silver headscarf and a jeweled headband. "How's this?" she asked Bezgir.

"You look as beautiful as ever." He had on a white tunic with a long light blue vest, and his turban was white with a traditional black and blue stripe pattern. "How 'bout me?"

"Like a god. Let's go dance!"

They headed down the hallways and made their way to the ballroom. Elua saw an Indian-looking couple and recognized the woman. "Suvarna! Bezgir, this is my friend from college, Suvarna. Suvarna, this is my husband, Bezgir." Suvarna didn't speak much Rezmaeri, so this was said in English. It would be awkward, because Bezgir's understanding of English wasn't so great either. He tried to speak to Suvarna's husband. "Name me Bezgir Urmarkan. No me good speak English. What name you?" Suvarna's husband responded in Rezmaeri: "I'm Prakash. Nice to meet you."

"How do you know Rezmaeri?" asked Elua.

"I got a job for your country's Emerging Technologies Visa Program. I actually live on the DETI compound outside Jakitagboce. Of course, Suvarna and I are still foreigners- living in Rezmaeristan doesn't make me Rezmaeri any more than you living in India would make you Indian."

"Come on you guys, let's go dance or something!" said Elua.

Franz dressed up in his good old black tuxedo. His bow-tie was tied very well. His hair was slicked off to the back. He looked good! He went to check on his wife, Olga. She wasn't excited to go. Their marriage had become less and less happy, since he ran for political office in 2014. He opened the door to their bedroom.
She was asleep. Franz let out a sigh. He closed the door and headed to the dance alone. He had just began to get his sea legs. He stumbled less and was not as seasick. He made his way to the elevator. He pressed the button that took him to the deck where the dance was.
He entered to see rich people, average people, politicians and businessmen.
He entered the ball room and headed straight to the bar. "Can I have a Vodka and Pepsi please?" The bartender made his drink, and Franz paid for his drink and tipped the bartender. He sat for a few minutes before the daughter of the mining baron appeared beside him. He didn't notice until she spoke to him.
"Hey. What are you doing here?" He looked over, and was excited by her youthful presence again. "I am drowning my sorrows.". She frowned. "Come with me." He got up and followed her. They eventually reached a room marked, "Baggage". She opened the door and motioned for her to follow him. She closed the door and pushed him against a wall and kissed him.
He looked at her. "Why?", he said, puzzled. "Because...I think your marriage is failing. And, your are pretty handsome."
She went in for another one.
Then, it got spicy. They removed each others clothes, and did the deed.
After a while, Franz put his clothes on and went back to his room, after telling her to meet him at the buffet.
When he got to his room, he was greeted by Anna Kerzenmacher, his Deputy Prime Minister.
"I saw Olga with another man." said Anna, in a calm tone. "What?" asked Franz. Before Anna could say anything, Franz went past her, and opened the bedroom door. Olga was nude.
"I'm sorry Franz.", she said, sympathetically. "Olga. We are getting divorced after i'm no longer Prime Minister. You can be with men, and I will be with women. We will be married only in name. Just, do not fornicate in MY bed."

Zoltan put on a plain black tuxedo as dialed his case officer's number, using the burner phone and secure line they'd given him.

"Yep, it's me," he said as he put one a pair of dress pants. With one usable arm, he had a tough time balancing the phone and changing at the same time, so he gave up and set his tuxedo on the back of his chair.

"How's it going?" his case officer asked. Zoltan had only ever met his case officer once, when he was first assigned to the mission. The man had been so ordinary-looking that Zoltan couldn't remember his face, confusing him with half a dozen other people.

"So far, so good," he said. Security seems tighter on the mid-lower decks than elsewhere; I plan to get a little intoxicated and stagger down there this evening. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to put on my tux."

"Why?" his officer asked.

"Tonight's the dance," Zoltan sighed. "If I'm the only guest that doesn't show up, someone is bound to get suspicious. Besides, I'm representing Rhyssua; the least I can do is put on a good show while I'm here. Seeyah."

"Ah," his officer said in understanding. "Good luck. It's good to have you back."

Zoltan flicked off the burner phone, then finished putting on his plain black tuxedo. As a final touch, he added cuff links that looked like miniature Rhyssuan flags, for some national flavor. After a final check in the mirror, he left the room to head for the dance floor. He made sure to lock the door, and carried a small razor blade in his shoe. He probably wouldn't need it, but old habits died hard.

Hanoi

vietnamese police guide passengers boarding and arriving the ship throughout the night. meanwhile there's a fenced off area with heavily armed guards and tanks protecting the perimeter, sounds of cranes and heavy equipment are heard from it, but due to the vietnamese armed forces blocking the area, yet no one can get a single peak into the area. meanwhile three more suspicous figures get onboard with black bags and fancy masks on, they seem to blend in with a VIP group known to wear fancy masks so no vietnamese police bats an eye.

on the ship

the music stops for a bit and then An accomadation officer asks over the speakers that they accept music requests and to do so, just walk to a room where the AO is and wait in line then your request and then just go back to partying and he says only avaliable to VIPs and the music switches back on. There's food being provided by the kitchen, MPs are watching and some soldiers try to mingle with the guests this time most of the them sober. the captain and his bridge crew are having drinks in the bridge and Wincenty Hyacintha is just in his quarters with his family.
Well... It's been a while.

Hanoi radio

"hello live from Hanoi, we like to greet the FNV golden arrow in Hanoi, we are excited to hear about the arrival of such a magnificent ship to this very city! to all planning to go into Hanoi, welcome my friends, to Vietnam! enjoy your trip"

meanwhile in the engine room

"sir... what- argh!" no one can hear the screams of infantry being taken out in the engine room nor the sounds of various tinkering with the engine. Not a single soul sees or hears the event in the engine room and so it goes unnoticed. meanwhile those figures seem to have disappeared and nobody really cared to check. the music and all the dancing is wonderful upstairs while in the engine room, several spies prepare a plan that will take quite a few hours

After hearing the announcement, Elua asked "So, you guys want to go into Vietnam? Bezgir and I made plans to take the tour. We'll be seeing some temples and Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, and a lake with giant turtles, and another lake where a B-52 crashed, I think. I'll hold my nose at the mausoleum though- Ho Chi Minh was a dirty commie"

"And he had some maladies, including the seven year itch, that would be impolite to describe. Well according to the movie Full Metal Jacket." added Bezgir.

"Tell me about those dirty commies, Elua. My sister had a friend who got wounded by the Naxalites back in India. Nonetheless, I think we'll take the tour too. I read a little about the water puppet theatre we might see, it's quite a spectacle." Suvarna replied.

"And the food is pretty good too, isn't it?" said Prakash. "On the DETI compound we had a Vietnamese family, the Nguyens. Mrs. Nguyen made some good pho. Mr. Nguyen's bun thit nuong was a favorite at community barbecues. Yeah, this'll be fun."

Typical of Felsigbergians, Franz wants nothing to do with Vietnam and any other socialist/communist countries. Partly due to the fact that Albert Zimmerman (a pro-Soviet Dictator) was pro-Communism and that the other previous dictators, Wilhelm Krieger and Martin Weber, were staunchly anti-communist, as well as two of the three former Prime Ministers, Otto Kerzenmacher and Matthias Bismark.
He notices troops entering and exiting the ship, but he doesn't care.
His marriage is a sham, and he'd have to live with it for at least four years. He stayed on the ship, avoiding everyone. Stewards and Stewardesses would ask if he wanted anything, but the only thing he would say is Vodka and Pepsi.
The Republican Guard would sit close to him, but never right beside him.
As he drowned his sorrows in alcohol, he got the bright idea to go and talk to Olga. He stumbled out of the bar, bumping into people, tripping and slurring words. He arrived at his room, and saw Olga crying on the couch. "Franz, we haven't held each other in a good year, and it had never felt right. That thing you saw, was seeing if it could feel right with another man. It doesn't. I...I think I'm...I think I am interested in women." Franz stood there in awe. "After, all I've done for you? I got you away from the slums of Weizen, I've paid for you to go to the most expensive university in Felsigberg and this is how you repay me? I've worked all my life for someone like you, but you never loved me?"
"No Franz, I love you, but you don't seem to understand. You are the most amazing man I have ever met. I just, I want to hold a woman."
Franz was overcome with anger. How could she do this to him! In a fit of rage, he grabbed her shirt by the collar and threw Olga across the cabin, toward the door. "Out. I don't care where you go. Just go out. Once we get off this damn boat, we are getting a divorce! I don't care what the conservatives think." Olga ran out the door and slammed it, crying. Franz sat on the couch and instantly fell asleep

Hanoi harbour 12:00pm

As the night went on, the type 10 destroyer St laurens docked behind the golden arrow, with what seems to be military grade cargo being loaded onboard the deck of the destroyer. Soldiers told guests to stay back from the stern of the ship for time being due to "deck maintenance", some guests try to snoop but the guards threaten to arrest them for interfering with work on deck. Meanwhile helicopters and cranes load black metallic containers with white stripes onboard the St laurens.

rumors spread amongst the boat about the walkerfort government transporting alien tech and the such, the PSA doesn't help much as it leads to more rumors.

bridge

"dammit... snoopers are everywhere on this damn ship"

"come on now.... They're good people.. you are trying to use it to do your fancy military manuevers and show people strength through violence! we are in a different Era captain... It's not 1968 or 1945! it's the 2000s! we should change our ways from a violent city state to a peaceful trading hub!"

"Wincenty you are a delusional man!, thinking we can have peace without violence! We fight wars because we care about our fellow man! we fight to keep ourselves alive!"

"fine captain.... if you so choose this violent route, by all means fine, but I won't let this ship be another military stunt!"

"okay then... Just let us load our cargo into St laurens without any damn snoopers into the stern and it will be all fine"

"alright then.. captain"
Well... It's been a while.

Elua and Bezgir returned to their cabin. Elua looked out the window facing out into Hanoi harbor, watching ships come in and out.

"Beautiful, isn't it?", she asked. "Not as pretty as you, though" Elua said with a seductive smile, starting to undress, until Bezgir said, "Hey, check that out over on the far right of our window. Look real close and you can see what kinda looks like an unusual ship."

Elua pulled her nightgown back up and joined Bezgir at the window. "That's just one of the military ships escorting us. Nothing too unusual."

"But look how close it is!" replied Bezgir. It was barely visible from a window on the ship.

"So?" asked Elua.

"Let's go see what's up! Maybe Prakash and Suvarna want to join us."

They got dressed and headed out, then got Prakash and Suvarna to come along As they approached the stern, a voice said, first in English, then in Chinese, then in Hindi, "Halt! This area of the ship is closed for deck maintenance. Please turn around."

They didn't do so, and Elua recognized the voice and the face. "Hey, Dalir! Nice to see you. What's going on back here?" she asked in Rezmaeri.

"Guys, I'm on duty, I can't socialize. But like I said, deck maintenance."

"What's the escort ship doing right alongside us?" asked Elua.

"Personnel transfer. They're bringing some marine MPs on board. We have security concerns about this region, namely ethnic tensions- you know the Vietnamese don't exactly get along with the Chinese. And there's crates with their supplies, too. That answer your questions?"

Elua wasn't quite satisfied with Dalir's answer, but she knew better than to keep talking. "Yes. We will just continue walking on our way. Goodbye!" They walked across the ship so they could see as much as they could of what was happening, before one of Dalir's comrades, a South Indian-looking soldier, shouted at them what Dalir had shouted, in the same languages, but also adding a fourth language.

"What language is that?" asked Elua.

"Probably Malayalam" answered Suvarna.

"Well, that all looked interesting. I think there was more to it than they were willing to let on."

Bezgir suggested, "You think we might persuade Dalir to let us see more? Maybe you could do something, if you know what I mean."

"Oh heck no. I'm a Rezmaeri noblewoman and I would never defile myself like that. Plus, you really feel like passing me around like that?"

"I was just joking." replied Bezgir.

"Well, regardless, there's probably better ways of figuring out what's over there. You could probably make a conspiracy blog about it!"

the bridge

"final checks"

"all good captain"

"right off we go"

back on the main deck, stern
the ship sails off to Singapore, her escort follows along after 3 minutes. the stern is now open and only a few differences are noticeable but most shrug it off but while that happening, command trying to find out what happened to 4th battalion's five missing soldiers, turns out five soldiers stopped responding to radio checks and when a team was sent to investigate, they couldn't find anyone but did find they left their equipment behind and traces of alcohol, so now MPs are searching the ship for five missing soldiers

Elua and bezgir's position

two MPs walk up to Elua

"miss... I recommend that you keep an eye out for these five and contact us" one MP says as he hands a poster to her

"and keep an eye on your child, Strange things are happening, and we fear.... she may get kidnapped" says the other MP, looking concerned

"didn't we get a report about three children going to below decks and going missing?" asks the first MP

"yeah we did... we're searching the area, to no result" replies the second MP in a sad tone

Ferdian's position

three MPs rush by him, they are heading off to below decks while Two MPs walk up to him, asking the same question about the five soldiers

"sir... please... if you see any of these five soldiers, inform us" says one MP before giving him a poster of the five soldiers

"s#@* this is going to hell already!" exclaims the other MP before running off with the First MP to another guest

At the Bow of the ship

At this point of time Ferdian was seing at the ocean Scenery, wearing his signature black and greyish suit complete with a red tie, an aviators sunglasses and a five star pin, somehow with a peculiar with a uncertain face.

Leon then steps in after being at the Cafe,

“ Wow, Ferdian. I didn’t know you’re a sightseer. Just look at this view! “ says leon as optimistic as ever

There was silence.

“ uhh... erm. Ah i hear the pools great? You ok?”

“ Yea-ya. I-I dont know nothing seems to add up. Just got this feeling s- somethings not right...”

“ Well cheer up mate, like you said before Just enjoy the Cruise! Here i also have some cold sparkling water just you ask! “

“ haha... sure i guess you’re right. Maybe im over thinking so fa- wait. Remember those bodyguards when we’re going up the ship? “

“ Yeah why? “

“ Where are they now? I’ve never seen them since we got to our rooms”

“ Well lets see one was at the bar with me and the-“

“ hey I thought you were at the cafe-“

“ abapap! Let me finish, last time i saw the other one with the red beret was in front of the hotel door, and i dont know the other two is? Should we call an official, though our boys maybe wondering around and are great at this.“

“ umm lets just wait a minute or two. Got that walkie talky? Try order them back to the bow...”

the sea

onboard the FNV st laurens, the ship has problems with it's back helipad, strange looking gas is flying off it and soldiers seem to be trying to stop it. Mayday calls are given to all the ships to tell them that the St laurens ship is having problems. and that is the last call from the St laurens before it disappears into the night, mysteriously. the witnesses look for any trace of the St laurens, unfortunately, it is gone.

bridge crew

"w-what happened to the St laurens?"

"i-i-it's disappeared!!"

"Where is it?"

"ah crap.... didn't it send out SOS signals?"

"All of it's electronics are dead!"

"we can't see it!"

"send out a search team!"

The Archipelago Territory had a world-class navy. The island terrain was pretty much a battleship parking lot. It even had emergency response teams waiting at Walkerfort.

“Sir, the FVS St. Lauren’s disappeared recently” blurted out the President’s Guard, nervously.

“I want all our emergency response teams to be hear within the hour.”

The President had stationed state of the art ships in Walkerfort. There were two Freedom-class Destroyers and a Zumwalt-class destroyer equipped with custom ammunition used for firing at land targets or people aboard the deck of a ship.

Golden arrow's roof

many enjoy the pools and various places on the roof, there is an artillery piece on the roof, just like the ones on the destroyers just smaller. there are guards stopping anyone from getting near it and they seem to be everywhere around the artillery gun. Meanwhile the guests either have fun in the pool or play at a golfcourse onboard, the MPs on break play Golf like Pros.

Elua saw something strange off in the distance.

"You think that's related to why we weren't allowed back at the stern?" she asked.

"Probably", replied Suvarna. "But we shouldn't jump to conclusions."

"But the question is, what is it?" asked Bezgir. "It looks like smoke or something."

"Could just be steam", replied Prakash.

"I think we're too far away to really ascertain anything" said Elua. "This doesn't seem like anything we're resolving any time soon. Let's just take note of what we saw and I'll write about it on the Internet."

They all laughed. "Easy way to get more social media likes", said Bezgir. "You're already famous as an Ishkalik tourism spokesperson"

"I'll make another account. You know how the Internet is. You can be lots of different people. I'll use a VPN and pretend to be Chinese- no, there's suspicious Chinese looking people. I'll just use a .su domain. Old CCTLD of the Soviet Union which was in use for the last 15 months of its existence, but is still used in former SSR's for other stuff."

"In the meantime, can we just like relax or something? This is cruise, you guys!" said Prakash.

They laughed and decided to go golfing.

"all ready to leave?"

"we're ready to leave port over"

"good, all systems are good, anchors away cap"

the Ship sails away, leaving the small port of singapore behind and heading for their next destination, Kuching. the PSA blasts about a buffet coming up and how they were made by 5 star chefs. the PSA also tries to calm the situations going on but to no avail. The MP try to calm people and say everything is fine but that is also futile. in the end things are getting fishy.
