Bad idea, unless Saint Hilda is a literal goldmine.

Rather, I prefer to allow different currencies the ability to compete in the open market. The government can issue its own tender in lieu of this

(I would preferably would have adopted a constitutional amendment to prevent the government from running the red but too late for that)
