I'll consider suggestions for a new title. "If we had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so" is too long for the title field.

Shucks, thanks, Senkaku.

Trump calls London’s mayor ‘the twin of de Blasio, except shorter’

President Trump on Sunday called London Mayor Sadiq Khan the “twin” of New York City’s liberal Mayor Bill deBlasio “except shorter.

Trump made the comments as he was leaving for the United Kingdom, which will be the first stop of a five-day trip to Europe.

There is no love lost between Trump and Khan. The London mayor recently said Trump was not in the “same class” as his predecessors. Prior to Trump’s visit, Khan wrote a column titled, “It’s un-British to roll out the red carpet for Donald Trump.”

Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.
The Parkus Empire: Being serious on NSG is like wearing a suit to a nude beach.
New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

His faculties are continuing on a downhill slope. Blatantly lying over the pettiest things, Al Bundying his election win at every single self pity rally, repeatedly using the same catchphrases over and over... just a matter of time before he literally shits his pants in public.

How uncivilized. I shall use a bazooka, as is befitting the modern age. Plus, I ascended via the MAGA thread, so it’s fitting.

For that new thread smell, a story I'm conflicted about:
America's business leaders are growing more worried that the United States will enter a recession by the end of 2020. Their primary fear: protectionist trade policy.
That is the topline finding of a report released Monday by the National Association for Business Economics. The survey, based on responses by 53 economists, is a leading barometer of where the US business community thinks the economy is headed.
"Increased trade protectionism is considered the primary downwide risk to growth by a majority of the respondents," Gregory Daco, chief US economist for Oxford Economics, said in a statement. The report found what it called a "surge" in recession fears among the economists.
The report comes as the United States ratchets up its trade war with China and has gone after other major trading partners, including Mexico and India.

First, let me get this out of the way. I'm not rooting for a recession to undermine Trump's chances of victory in 2020. I would much rather the economy continue to support and hire people etc. and that dude still lose his job because he's fucking terrible and the economy was just strong enough to survive him. Recessions suck, I don't care of they're 'natural' or whatever other hand wave nonsense from people who don't think they're at risk. Fuck that.

Second...I mean...is it really the wolf this time? I'm starting to feel like this recession has been 'right around the corner' for like six years now. If you're gonna fight, fight. Don't talk.

Third, sometimes since economics is such voodoo that half that time it's people going "Don't make me kick you!" Like, they want a policy so they create a consequence for it not happening.

Mostly because this prediction is so convenient to the election. "This bullshit will come to roost right when it will hit you the worst, guy doing all this bullshit."

I'm on the side of his policy being bullshit. I don't know if the prediction is right or not, as far as I'm concerned they might as well have gotten it from chicken bones, but a development all the same.
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

I think his hair looks better this way, but will he still sport it for his Euro-visit. I suspect it's merely a blip result from the cap.

Trump made an unannounced stop at the church after leaving his private golf club in Sterling, Virginia, and appeared onstage, where pastor David Platt prayed for him. Trump then left the stage with a wave, without addressing the congregation.

The visit caused a stir on social media, mainly because of the sight of his hair after he removed his baseball cap. It was flat, wet, and surprisingly long, with something of the mullet about it.

Trump’s hair has been thoroughly lampooned over the years: Vanity Fair has written an “Illustrated History of Donald Trump’s Hair”, which is published with the warning: “Don’t Read Before Lunch!”; his daughter Ivanka reportedly often mockingly describes how his hairstyle is constructed to friends; and in both American and British sign language, the name signs for Donald Trump reference the president’s hair.

Didn't know that about sign language..
