We don't really need your fearmongering making policies more damaging to us than the risks we already have to live with, thank you. Please concern yourself with your own life, not 'fearing for' mine and potentially causing me more harm than good because your feelings get in the way of science and require a knee-jerk reaction by legislation so you can feel like you struck a blow at your mortal political enemies, nevermind those of us caught in the middle.

Dude there’s herd immunity. Mandatory vaccinations cover everyone who can be medically vaccinated meaning not you and people like you.

It’s not fear mongering to claim that bad shit will happen if people who can vaccinate don’t. You can and will get measles, and Mumps, and rubella if people continue to not get the MMR vaccination. Education can only go so far

If we go with mandatory vaccinations, how can we tell that someone is immunocompromised or the like if the documents about their condition don't exist?

Like if someone was allergic to a vaccine, but we can't find the records detailing it. Do we force them to have the vaccine, causing harm, or let them off?

Yes! Thank you for understanding how outright terrifying this is to someone like me caught in the middle of this debate. These kinds of knee jerk blanket reactions WILL cause harm to someone, somewhere. Potentially turning innocent people into political collateral damage isn't okay!

Ironically, this kinda sounds like fearmongering.

We’d figure out pretty quickly if they have an adverse reaction to it. When you get a vaccination they ask you to stay in the doctors office for a bit in case any adverse effects occur.

So if no evidence exists then we treat them like any other person who hasn’t been vaccinated

Plus, MMR vaccines are a 3 or 4 dose mult-shot thing with a time period between shots to minimize adverse reactions or anything closely resembling septic shock.
(plus this is to vaccinate you for ALL KNOWN STRAINS listed... so.. yeah... and if you show symptoms of failing to adapt to the disease, they can take a pretty accurate guess it was the particular strain they just injected, prep-up some serum [antibodies specific to that disease, matched to your blood-type] and boom.. you're gonna be fine.)

At least that was how it was done in the early 90's.

I mean... if you're actually going through with vaccinating your kid... it's a rather slow six year program.
(upside is they'd be pretty much immune to anything more dangerous than a case of the snifflies and maybe chickenpox [although tere's a vaccine for that too], and they'd be covered for Rabies and Tetnus until they're 21)
-The downside is they'll have literally no excuse for staying home from school, ever.
-Heck, they could probably eat carion off the road on the way to school and turn-out fine like I did.

Getting fully immunized in a one-stop-"cure-all"-shot is just asking for things to go wrong.

Apparently they’ve brought it down to two shots done over a period of 6 months.

But ya when i was young it was 4 shots

Life in the 90's was awesome, you had the option of being vaccinated for polio as a kid even though it had by-then already nearly ceased to exist.

*Polio re-emerges as kids stop getting vaccinated by 1998*

(because the cost to fully vaccinate a kid was $0.10)

His fraudulent research is directly responsible for the rise in measles, mumps, and rubella in the UK in the late 90’s, resulting in deaths and serious permanent injuries.

His "study" that makes up bullshit lies to connect vaccines to autism has been one of the reasons anti vaxxers have grown in numbers and anti vaxxers are the reason we are seeing multiple outbreaks the largest in years. That is why because his bullshit lies have led to more anti vaxxers.

Just so y’all now know the measles outbreak is now the worst outbreak since 1994. If the trend continues measles will no longer be eliminated in the US.
