I am interpreting that not only as a joke, but as a sign I need to clarify what I want.

Essentially I want an election campaign similar to a real life campaign, with an informal stage, where undeclared candidates test the waters, a sort of primary that narrows the field and a final election. This obviously won't fit into one thread, but even broken down, one has a series of events that take place over time with large gaps in between.

Why not make things interesting by replacing the elections with a battle royale?

Elections are basically battle royales anyways, just only barely on the cusp of killfests, with sharp words and wit flying instead of the plain brutality of blades or spitzer bullets.
I like that thrill.

The story so far:A small Violetist Radical group has been under the radar of the Newark Aristocracy Fedrial Police(NAFP) for seveal years now. during that time,they managed to traffick and Enslave thousands. And they have mutipule Traffficng rings,so its hard for the NAFP to find all of them.
That is until a massive drug bust at Newark City Docks leads them to clues to where each ring operates.
And it turns out their ops have went international.

I'd say make it PMT because it's cooler and so I can join, also because MT is lame and boring. Besides, tech level is irrelevant to the attitude towards certain events. It's the laws that matter.

Tech level is VERY relevant in certain instances- Slavery being one of them. While one steller empire may find slavery to be an abhorrent practice, it maybe a civil right in another. Intersteller law is mostly ceremonial and only applies to nations who have either signed into the particular treaty or are part of intersteller bodies that have regulated or outlawed the practice.

So MT or PMT would make the RP far more viable.

I would like to see some action, but I have seens some less-than-standard RPs from Newark in the past. I don’t want to hold that against them, I am just asking: What type of standards would you be holding the RPers too? I just want to be helpful and guide a little here to make interesting RPs.

And if anyone knows better than me and discussing this here would be off topic, tell me and we can take it to TGs. But I really like the idea, I have been waiting for a good crime RP. You know, I might even RP as a cossack living abroad who decides to work for ‘em and rises through the ranks. It would be nice to place the bad guy.

Better tell half the Mentor team to redo their nations, then. Obviously I'm in the clear because The Most Serene Republic of Delmonte does not borrow heavily from anything that existed in real life. No, sir. No romance language speaking, corrupt, maritime, commerce-driven citystates ever existed.

I'm sorry, but if the community actually enforced this guideline like... sixty percent of NS's canon would get wiped out overnight. I'd say about a third of NS nations fall into one of these very few categories:

-Inspired by Nazi Germany

-Literally just America

-Rome was cool, let's do that

-Russians and Communism

-Anime and Japan OwO

-See, we're NOT Nazi Germany because the Nazis weren't edgy *enough*. Their uniforms were midnight black, our uniforms are a DARKER onyx black; we're totally different from Nazis except that's actually exactly what we are, see point one

I don't mean "inspired" by RL, especially citing that my own works are as well inspired by RL, and massively inspired . I was under impression - with people saying like "I am claiming Wei" that there is an interest in starting an RP SET in RL three kingdoms era. As far as I understand, the standard rules of division between P2TM and II were that II involves RPs that are about your nation while P2TM is for everything else, including alternate history RPs.

If someone makes a notChina nation and launches a PT RP, that's something that falls under II subforum, but if you make an RP like "Three Kingdoms" - that's P2TM stuff.
