Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet?

Technically speaking, no legislation has been passed on it. However, there are no legal restrictions on who/what you can marry in Cobra, so gay marriage isn't illegal either.

If no, why not?

N/A

Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal?

Some units may forbid gay marriage (or marriage in general) because it would affect morale and disrupt concentration.

What percentage of your population is homosexual?

Roughly 0.10%

Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal?

No. Religion, or a lack there of, doesn't influence anything in Cobra. Now if someone payed us to outlaw gay marriage, that would be another story...

Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people?

Military academies can for the same reason individual units can. However traditional schools can not.

Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people?

Some can, especially those that require peak mental/physical conditions, or require extensive body modifications.

Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people?

No, but they don't have to treat them well either.

Are LGBT people allowed to adopt?

Yes, but they must be approved to do so first.

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet? Same-sex couples may legally marry in all of Sejete.
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal? No.
What percentage of your population is homosexual? An estimated 10% of Sejetians identify as homosexual.
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal? Yes. Most Sejetians do not identify with any religion, and therefore have no reason to oppose same-sex marriage. Even so, no belief system originating in Sejete ever opposed homosexuality.
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? No.
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? No.
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? No.

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet? Yes; since 2016, the Supreme Court of the Achaean Republic recognized gay marriage in equal standing.
If no, why not?
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal? In 2006, the Supreme Court declared gay marriage to be an issue between the states; since 2016, it was extended nationwide.
What percentage of your population is homosexual? The National Statistics Bureau does not compile data on sexual orientation; however, estimates range between 8-10% of the population.
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal? Opposition for gay marriage has originally hampered legislation, due to the country's Catholic majority and significant Evangelical minority. However, federal legislation has progressively opened up for LGBT rights, and are currently considering if and when sex change operations are considered medically necessary to be offered for free in the national healthcare system.
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? No
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? No
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? No
Are LGBT people allowed to adopt? Only in seven states, though this matter is being revisited in federal court.

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet?
In 45 out of 51 provinces it is legal (the mainland North American Union). All of the indigenous protectorates have legalized it by domestic legislation and lobbying by HM North American Government.
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal?
The remaining 6 provinces, in the Caribbean, have not legalized gay marriage yet. Marriage laws are the purview of the provinces.
What percentage of your population is homosexual?
About 5% of the population identifies as LGBTQ+
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal?
Utilitarianism and liberalism really have done the most, and public policy and public opinion. Both of the main parties have come around to accepting LGBT+ individuals and promoting policy to legalize same sex marriage.
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people?
Public schools cannot discriminate in anyway, but there are limited protections against discrimination when it comes to private schools, particularly if they are religious schools.
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people?
Not really, unless meeting some bona fide occupational criteria, which aren't that many I think.
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people?
Public places must not discriminate, according to all provincial and the general human rights acts.
Are LGBT people allowed to adopt?
LGBT people are allowed to adopt children domestically and overseas in the 45 provinces where it is legal for to have same-sex marriage. The six provinces that have not legalized same sex marriage are required to recognize same-sex marriages and adopted children of those out-of-province residents traveling through or moving to one of those non-legal provinces by the constitutional requirement of comity among the provinces, and the right of mobility of all NAU citizens and the freedom from discrimination against one's province of residence.

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet? | A formal and legal marriage between two women or two men is not a recognised form of marriage, and is therefore not legal in the Freehold.

If no, why not? | The legal definition of marriage in Ephyra necessitates that the two participants who possess the right of marriage are one male and one female. Marriage is the system for the creation of legitimate offspring and future citizens. Gays do not contribute in this regard. Furthermore, whilst same-sex sexual acts are recognised to exist, homosexuality as a distinct preference is not acknowledged due to the nature of Ephyral sexual dichotomy emphasising position rather than gender. There is no penalty social or legal for a citizen man who engages in a same-sex act with another man so long as he is not the receiving submissive party occupying the feminine role. And so long as he performs his civic duty through marriage to a woman and fathering legitimate children, he is free to make sexual use of socially inferior males. A citizen man who allows himself to be used in the feminine role is socially scorned. Women are not seen as physically capable of same-sex acts due to lack of penetrative dichotomy.

Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal? | No. The requirements for a formal marriage to take place involve the families of the bride and groom and therefore no marriage could ever come to pass between two members of the same sex for a law to be broken.

What percentage of your population is homosexual? | There is no such survey or assessment.

Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal? | Not specifically. Ephyral religion is inseparable from its culture and has no holy texts that mandate a specific persecution of gays. Gays are simply not recognised.

Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? | No, because they aren't recognised.

Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? | No, because they aren't recognised.

Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? | No, because they aren't recognised.

Are LGBT people allowed to adopt? | Adoption in the classical understanding does not exist in Ephyra.

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet?: Gay marriage is legal in Zandergrad.
If no, why not? Religious reasons, see below
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal? Everywhere outside the capital (less than half of the population)
What percentage of your population is homosexual? Less than 1% of married couples in the country are same-sex
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal? Yes. The majority of rural Vizn are strongly traditionalist followers of their respective religions. The urban population- focused almost entirely in Zandergrad- whilst still overwhelmingly religious, is very cosmopolitan due to lax immigration laws. Following the resulting 2011 decision to change the city's official religion to secular, gay marriage was legalised in city limits without a referendum.
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? Not in Zandergrad, at least not in public schools. Religious schools already get to pick and choose students
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? Yes, but not for government positions anywhere in the country
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? Yes
Are LGBT people allowed to adopt? Only in Zandergrad

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet?
Gay marriage has been legal in Inish Eola since the ancient era. As such, there has always been provision for it in law and in the faith of the land.

If no, why not?
N/A

Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal?
No, as a small state, legislation such as this in Inish Eola is implemented on a national level.

What percentage of your population is homosexual?
The same as much anywhere else in the world whether it is declared or not. 5 percent.

Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal?
Yes. The common religion in Inish Eola is known as the Gweyofelan Pantheon, and in the religious texts and myth the gods and goddesses engage in many homosexual and bisexual relations. This has carried into Eolan society which is quite liberal in this sense when compared to many other states.

Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people?
No, discrimination by any means is a criminal offence.

Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people?
No, see above.

Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people?
No, see above.

Are LGBT people allowed to adopt?
Yes, of course they are.

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet?
Gay marriage is completely legalized in all parts of Hinterland in part due to the country's constitution. While it is a slight step away from the old traditions Hinterland was built on, the Supreme Court struck down and completely legalized it very recently.

Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal?
No, as the Hinterland Supreme Court has legalized it federally across all Hinterland states in the case of Feller v. Davidson.

What percentage of your population is homosexual?
Homosexuals are a minority in Hinterland, with 2.3% of all males recording themselves as homosexuals and only 2.5% of all women.

Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal?
Religious beliefs have been a stronghold in Hinterland politics. With the Reagan administration, a mix of the fundamental rights Hinterland was built on and the religion of Christianity that has made it persevere to where it is today has helped out the process of legalizing gay marriage, as a major portion of the populace and government alike recognize the simple constitutional right to same-sex marriage.

Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people?
Schools in Hinterland may not refuse people solely or partially based on their affiliation with any group or association of people that are deemed peaceful by the Hinterland Department of National Security, as well as other federal departments and the government itself. While the constitution guarantees that right, it exempts groups in relation to terrorist activities such as Al Qaeda, ISIS, and other extremist groups, including the KKK Clan and ANTIFA.

In that matter, however, schools do have a right to inform the parents of the student whenever they join a club that is affiliated to the Homosexual community and other LGBTQ associations.

Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people?
Similarly to schools, employers may not refuse people solely or partially based on their affiliation with any group or association of people that are deemed peaceful by the Hinterland Federal Government. However, employers do have the right to fight it in court if they don't wish to hire a homosexual based on their (the employer's) religious following or other personal morality holdings.

Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people?
Similarly to jobs, restaurants may not refuse people solely or partially based on their affiliation with any group or association of people that are deemed peaceful by the Hinterland Federal Government. However, restaurant owners do have the right to fight it in court if they don't wish to serve a homosexual based on their (the restaurant's) religious following or other personal morality holdings.

Are LGBT people allowed to adopt?
LGBT members have the freedom to adopt children as long as they can cater to its needs like any other normal family or person(S) that want to adopt a child.
