Synopsis

The Weltkreig was the boundary between old and new European warfare. It shattered ideas from the old and from them, the new came. Old generals with outdated ideas were replaced with young energetic officers. Armies were obliterated in the field and Armies created with ease to replace them. Simple technology was perverted into disgusting monstrosities. Empires collapsed and new ones burst from their corpses.

It all started with two shots. Two Deaths. A prophecy fulfilled. A wave of anger. A want of vengeance. An ultimatum. A refusal.

What should have been a small insignificant Balkan war rapidly ballooned across Europe due to the tangled web of alliances. But the Central Powers-Italy, Germany, and Austria-Hungary- through sheer might prevailed against the Entente. France was brutally punished, losing much land and most of their colonies to Germany and Italy. Austria-Hungary collapsed paving the way of German and Italian domination of the Balkans... so they think. Europe is now the home of gods over the earth. An Olympus...

Description
Kage no Sekai follows a society very much like our own real world. However, the main difference is that magic exists. Mages are past the days of acting as kings and kingsmakers and instead use summoned warriors known as spirits to battle for power, wealth, and knowledge behind the scenes of modern society in a way very much like the mafias of the normal human world. Additionally, groups of angels and demons have been separated from their homeworld and left to integrate - or not - with humanity, while vampires try to carve out a living too. All of the magic world, however, is under the command of the Mage's Guild. The main plot of the RP follows that Guild, its adventures in maintaining order in the magic world, and the Mittlerstadt Academy that produces new agents for this important organization. Players can control students in the academy as well as the spirits that fight for them, with other plots outside of this main one popping up from time to time too.

The Cuban Crisis escalated out of hand any diplomatic relations were cut, then the nukes started to fly, first cities to be destroyed were Havana, Moscow, Istanbul, and Washington, millions were killed in mere minutes, then all went silent, there was no city and no country spared everything seemingly glowed, the people that got into the shelters needed to be not only prepared physically but mentally because they would need to be prepared for long fifty years, if you exit to fast the radiation will most likely kill you or the mutations will drive you crazy. Many asked question was this necessary other didn't ask they couldn't bear the fact this was the apocalypse and simply shot themselves

But fifty years later the radiation slowly evaporates to non-lethal levels and people spared by nuclear armageddon emerge to find themselves in a new world with no country and no leader, only a single entity against what radiation created and what radiation made of you, yes most if not all people started to mutate or already mutated, horrible messes of various animals that could even out-compete Lovecraftian horrors in terms of horribleness and brutality other threats are even worse, people that radiation drove crazy.

Now you are one of the various creatures living in rumbles of New York City or the Manhattan Island to be exact, the once beautiful city of neons is now mostly silent and abandoned, except for some small settlements. For those lucky enough to have a radio all channels proved radio silent, you are all on you're own.

This is a Sandbox RP, where, you are supposed to live out your characters life and/or death. Every two days smaller events pop up, and every week a big event happens, the smaller ones, you can or can not participate in, but, the big ones are mandatory. I hope you will enjoy.

Description
The Exquisite Corpse Project is a chance for young authors and RPers to flex their creative muscles in a one-off manner and add to a story that is ever expanding and changing in unpredictable ways. The requirements to entry and the time asked are much lower than in a conventional RP, but the end result promises to be just as excellent as any story you've ever been a part of. Anything could happen, this is a sandbox with limitless sand.

An exquisite corpse is a method of creative expression where multiple collaborators work together to build a story sequentially, as opposed to all at once. The Exquisite Corpse Project attempts to bring that style of creating to P2TM. As far as anything I've seen before on P2TM, it's utterly unique.

An Unidentified Flying Object appeared on the radars of Area 87 on the dawn of 19th July 1964, it did not respond to any attempts of communication. Two missiles were dispatched and both hit its target. The UFO started to descend in a seemingly uncontrolled manner, it will soon hit the sands of Nevada. Soon, the object was no longer unidentified, well, we still don't know who it belonged to, but this is the same ship that types of it were seen in many different places of the Earth. Finally, one of them was crashing down to Earth. E.T.A, 16 minutes until the crash, when that happens the higher-ups are expecting at least nine full teams there and misinformation systems deployed, no civilian is supposed to know of it until we are able to translate Their language and make the official first contact... I wish you luck, the World will never be the same if you achieve this task.

Description
The year is 2016, and a plethora of lawsuits await the chamber, interpreting legal loopholes and the constitutional rights in the age of the internet has never been harder.
Sign up as a clerk, a defense attorney, the Solicitor General, or a Justice, and debate and vote on cases. The future of the constitution is in your hands.

There will be three threads for this RP: voting, oral debates, and OOC. Once we get a Solicitor General, 5 Justices, and one defense attorney, we will be ready to begin. I have already sketched outlines for the cases and will make the IC thread soon.

What makes this thread so great?

In the near future of 2035, mankind faces many rising threats. Resources like water, food, and petroleum are starting to run low in many areas of the world. Global warming is causing even more problems as extreme weather is starting to take its toll on areas of the world. A limited nuclear war in the middle east between Iran and Israel has left the region in shambles, along with oil supplies in Saudi Arabia running dry. Constant civil wars in both the US and China have left both nations in ruins, and combined have killed almost as many as WW2. Meanwhile, the Commonwealth Pact and the Eurasian Alliance are at each other's throats over territorial disputes and economic sanctions. While Japan is under a new nationalistic government that 'shall restore the empire'. It truly is a Chaotic Earth.

Description
It is the year 2019. R.A.G.N.A.R.O.K, a top secret branch of the Department of Homeland Security and successor to the Federal Bureau of Superhuman Affairs, is on the hunt for Superheroes and Supervillains, which have existed since World War I, after Durant, Oklahoma was destroyed by an explosion that was covered up as a test to determine how the detonation of a nuclear bomb would affect soil erosion but was actually caused by a fight between five Superheroes and five Supervillains, the goal of this hunt being to kill the superheroes and supervillians who are too dangerous to be captured and holding the ones who are not in a secret facility built under Guantanamo Bay. The Superheroes and Supervillains, their ranks decimated by this "Super Hunt", have gone into hiding until the Federal Government decides that R.A.G.N.A.R.O.K hunting "nonexistent Persons" is too expensive and forces them to deal with conventional threats.

As the title and intro implies, this is not your typical Superhero RP. Instead of working with Superheroes to defeat a Supervillain, R.A.G.N.A.R.O.K (the RP's equivalent to SHIELD) is assigned to hunt down and kill or capture Superheroes and Supervillains. Instead of being public knowledge, the existence of Superheroes and Supervillains is a closely guarded secret, with R.A.G.N.A.R.O.K, like its predecessor being the Men In Black of this Masquerade.

Description
The current year is 1318 and while Eboris has recently seen two decades of relative peace, the last few years have brought turbulence and conflict. This is in large part caused by the recent interest in ancient magical and holy artifacts that are being discovered across the continent. These treasure troves are being discovered in underground chambers and tunnels and hold riches and weapons that could change the balance of power irreparably. This discovery has functionally created a three way war between the nations of Dascus, Athela, and Tashar who over the last year have skirmished over these artifacts wherever they are discovered. For example Athela and Dascus fought a bloody battle at Eckers, a border city between the two countries, when an underground library filled with texts regarding magic was discovered.

As this spills across the continent, smaller countries have taken sides or involved themselves in the fight. The Eshon Confederacy has sided with Dascus in conflicts with Tashar, as the Confederacy fears that new power and magic granted by these artifacts would embolden Tashar to start a new invasion of Eshon; on the other hand, Tashar has called upon the aid of their allies, the Sartharians, to even the odds. Dascus seeks to study the magical potential and origin of these artifacts while Athela seeks to destroy and censor them altogether. Meanwhile the Freelands have mostly stayed out of the conflict, their only involvement being expelling and refusing any parties searching for these artifacts. The Antoran League and Hercynia have likewise opted to remain neutral, with the latter aggressively driving out any attempts by Tashar to search for artifacts in their territory.

Certain factions have found themselves involved with these artifacts as well. The Bank of Ashar and the Street Crawlers have created a black market for these items, and even some religious factions such as the Knights of Shotarr are seeking them out for their own purposes. The Foresters have entered the fray as well, fighting to ensure that the woods and groves of Eboris aren’t destroyed in the fight for the ancient relics.

Recently this conflict has escalated as a massive temple was discovered on the border of Dascus and Tashar, and both have rallied their armies in preparation for battle. To make things worse Athela has marched in their army as well, creating a three way seige around the temple that threatens to turn into a massive battle. As the days turned into weeks, the war camps grew and grew as mercenaries, priests, mages, thieves, and many others flock to these camps, seeking the opportunity such an event presents.

Your characters, for whatever reason, find themselves at the looming Battle of Haden Hill where the temple was discovered. However neither the battle nor anything else will go as planned and Eboris will soon be thrown into conflict and turmoil like it has never seen before. This begins an epic adventure where players join forces to rebuild the legendary army, the Hammer of Eboris, to unite the warring nations and preserve a future for all mortal kind.

Description
In 2040 four major powers of the world managed to perform the greatest feat of human engineering, the terraformation of Mars, why, the answer is very simple, Earth began to run out of resources meanwhile a world just next in order of the planets that resources have not been touched ever before, and so it was done and by 2085 plants have settled in and by 2090 the animals from Earth found a home, some genetically modified, some not, and soon in 2100 the first colony ships launched each of the four countries that terraformed Mars carving out a piece for them and establishing a Mandate sponsored by them, the part belonging to the US looked oddly like the Great Plains...

Everybody knew what it meant, from the first sight of the landscape, A New Wild West, the return of the age of outlaws and lone rangers, and after a brief Gold Rush in 2110 and a civil war regarding the rights of Androids spanning early 2120s to mid-2130s with the fall of the 2nd Confederacy, the area looked just like the Wild West, and thus our story begins in 2143, either in the Gang of one that goes by Fast Hand Ollie that will need to outclass other gangs in the area and face a threat more powerful than anything or in the town of Big Iron where the Iron Mine stopped giving out iron and now citizens of it need to defend against a forced eviction from their homes by one Hover Transportation Inc. Building a hover train railway, to cross the New Great Plains, who knows if at one point, their stories won't become one story
