The Iris Boarding School Complex and its Sensha-Do Team invites you to this exciting convention of Sensha-Do and Tank Sport on the school grounds near Fortham, taking place on the 1st of June 2019.
And, like every year, we have an exciting itinerary planned: Aside from seeing many historic vehicles in action, a tank biathlon challenge and three gunnery competitions, we will celebrate the premiere of the English dub of the movie The Avalanche of Steel in the evening and will be there to meet, be met and to be greeted.
And not only us from the Coileáin, but also some of the best teams in the world already announced their presence with vehicles and personell:

Hello and welcome to the 1st (of hopefully many) Iris Boarding School Sensha-Do Convention!
What is Sensha-Do? Sensha-Do, or Tankery, is the ficticious sport practiced in the anime Girls und Panzer, which is basically a team death match of teams of high schoolers driving around in tanks (although other game modes are shown as well) using mostly vehicles of World War 2 vintage.
And this will be a convention of teams to celebrate the sport, have a few competitions aside from shooting at each other and generally having fun. And of course, there will be more then enough space for enthusiasts of the sports and the vehicles and the history behind them, as well as people, who have never seen a tank before in their life. The options are limitless!

Sadly, we will need rules:

1. No Godmodding, Meta-Gaming or similar stuff. No exceptions.

1.1. If you believe, that such an instance is occurring, please bring it to attention on this OOC in a calm manner.
1.2. ALL Selkie-NPCs are controlled by me, mostly due to cultural particularities. No exceptions.
2. I am the OP, my word is law. I reserve the right to add to this list of rules or to amend rules if necessary.
3. IC on the IC-thread, OOC on the OOC-thread. The OOC-thread is there to be used.
4. Permitted Characters:

4.1. No high government or military officials. This is a convention for normal people to enjoy, not a state ball. No exceptions.
4.2. Keep in mind, that your characters are under the right and law of the Free Lands. That includes a total ban on all firearms in private hands (and your people will be there as private persons, end of discussion). If I catch anyone posting anything about his characters having firearms in any form, he or she will be mauled to death by rabid Tines. And no, there will be no escape. No exceptions.
4.3. The tanks are a different story, but more on them in block 5.
4.4. Appearance of your characters, a.k.a. Valid Passport Photo. Please choose pictures, that are SFW and where your character is easily identifiable. Anime-Pictures are allowed, but are under the same restrictions. You can also write a description of him or her. And it does not have to be a passport photo.
4.5. Non-Humans. Non-Human Humanoids are permitted, the rest is not. Magic... consult with me beforehand, but prepare to be limited to the lightest of the light. No exceptions.
4.6. You have to provide an RP-sample (a link to a RP you participated in, from the account you are applying with, showing how you interact with other players, not a post written on the fly) and answer the question “Have you read and understood the rules?” with “Tank goes up the hill!” No exceptions.
4.7. No characters or teams from Girls und Panzer. I hope, that I don't have to make that clear, but better be safe then sorry. No exceptions.
4.8. While the sport is shown as an exclusively female sport in the anime and other media, you would be very much allowed to bring some lads as team members. If you do or don't is up to you. Likewise, your teams do not need to be composed entirely of High Schoolers.
5. Teams.

5.1. If you want to come with a team, fill out the Team Application (see below). However, I still would like to have one character from the team with his/her own app. No exceptions.
5.2. Maximum number of vehicles: 6. Exceptions maybe be granted on a case-by-case basis, but do not count on it!!! Ask before you do apply with more then six vehicles and we will talk about it.
5.3. Maximum vintage: Tanks, which were in service between 1910 and 1989. No exceptions.
5.4. Of course, you are very much allowed to bring your own models to this convention (God knows, that I do) and I would indeed appreciate it very much. However, try to keep it halfway realistic and reasonable and, that's the important part, transportable by train. I would very much prefer it, if there would be no Ratten or other Landships around. No exceptions.
5.5. The Competitions: We will not do this like the nice ladies and gentlemen over on NSSports, but in a less sophisticated manner, which I will decide on and present once I figured it out myself...

Why this is neither on NSSports and why this is a Convention, despite some competitions sprinkled in.
5.6. Allowed are not only tanks, but also IFVs, APCs, weapon's carriers, SPGs, tank destroyers, armoured cars and assault guns.
6. No murders. Violence only if all involved agree to it.

6.1. Security. Will be provided by the Free Lands, if needed by rabid Tine. If you feel the need for your character to have a bodyguard or someone of that kind, it's most likely a break of Rule 4.1.
7. No military actions, declarations of war or similar stuff.
8. Try to avoid oneliners. I know, that it can't be avoided sometimes, but please put a bit of effort into this RP.
9. If you have questions for me or other players, ask. That's what this OOC is for!
10. The IC will start on the 1st of June. At that point, all of your characters, tanks and so, and so on will already be at the Iris Boarding School Complex and set up for the convention. We don't need to go through the entire rounds of arrival in the Free Lands and transporting everything to Fortham and so on and so on.

As you may know, Sensha-Do has found its place in the lovely, chaotic lands I'm controlling, and it doesn't cease to gain popularity. Thus, I'm going to send my entire team to Fortham, as well as a couple of enthusiasts, some of whom you may know.
We might have yet to see what this is going to be like at the end of the day, but I'm very sure it's gonna be fun!
(A little side note for everyone ...) I'd like to ask to be aware, though, that I won't be at home from June 9 to June 16, meaning I will only have very limited internet access, and typing long messages with a phone isn't exactly fun, so my activity is likely to decrease to a minimum during that week. I think this should be mentioned beforehand. ^^

The "Skildpadde", the name meaning 'turtle' in Danish, is an Armored Personnel Carrier, built for the Army of the Lillorainian Federal Republic from 1946 to 1959. Their first and only use in combat was during the Lillorainian Civil War (1974 to 1976), where around 1200 of these were shipped to the East Coast of Elverholm (there were no road tunnels underseas back then) in order to get large troops there quickly. They served during the entire occupation of the LFR's reclaimed former Crownlands as well as during the war on neighboring states. After the War, they remained in the hands of the resistance movements up until 1981, when the Federation was founded and most of the vehicles were kept by the FAF or by museums, until the RMA Sensha-Do Team was founded in 2017, an amount of Skildpadder and other historical vehicles, such as the Seckom and the Varulven, being made accessible to them.
The Skildpadde has a length of 6.5 meters, a width of 2.8 meters, a height of 2.4 meters, a range of 500 km (on road)/400 km (offroad) and a maximum speed of 60 km/h. It uses a Hjalmarsson HG-40 68mm gun (Hjalmarsson Gunsmiths, Longenager, is nowadays a branch of Morschenich-Jäckrath Systems Ltd., and still responsible for tank guns).

First of all, thank you for your interest, Amenria.
To answer your question, the focus of this RP is the interaction between the characters, not the sportive competition. It is a convention, after all (that's also the reason why I didn't post this in NSSports). That aside, if you know a scorinator, which also includes the different technical details of the many different tanks used by the teams, please let me know.

The "Skildpadde", the name meaning 'turtle' in Danish, is an Armored Personnel Carrier, built for the Army of the Lillorainian Federal Republic from 1946 to 1959. Their first and only use in combat was during the Lillorainian Civil War (1974 to 1976), where around 1200 of these were shipped to the East Coast of Elverholm (there were no road tunnels underseas back then) in order to get large troops there quickly. They served during the entire occupation of the LFR's reclaimed former Crownlands as well as during the war on neighboring states. After the War, they remained in the hands of the resistance movements up until 1981, when the Federation was founded and most of the vehicles were kept by the FAF or by museums, until the RMA Sensha-Do Team was founded in 2017, an amount of Skildpadder and other historical vehicles, such as the Seckom and the Varulven, being made accessible to them.
The Skildpadde has a length of 6.5 meters, a width of 2.8 meters, a height of 2.4 meters, a range of 500 km (on road)/400 km (offroad) and a maximum speed of 60 km/h. It uses a Hjalmarsson HG-40 68mm gun (Hjalmarsson Gunsmiths, Longenager, is nowadays a branch of Morschenich-Jäckrath Systems Ltd., and still responsible for tank guns).
