Kristallnacht in total, only had around 91 deaths. That is relatively low for a nation wide period of violence. If there were any deaths, it was from the excesses of angry mobs or SA members. There were no summary executions to my knowledge, that is- besides the Jews which were sent to concentration camps. Some were beaten to death by Nazi guards.
It is true that if someone is beaten up too badly, that depending on their age or how bad the physical damage is, people in that situation might die. It is my belief that none of the deaths were deliberate until at least 1941 if not 1939.
