Though with what I can discern, that goes back to the point I established at the end - if they want me to excise the word from my vocabulary, even if they aren't remotely present, they should be cut off like a dead weight. Such controlling toxicity deserves no place in my presence. Sure, I likely will suspend usage in their presence (accompanied by a reduction in discussion with them in general, of course, since that itself is pretty toxic too), but not universally.

Sorry, was in a rush to submit the report (sneaking on at work). The slur is "trap", there was a huge, multipage discussion about it they were involved in. Clearly not an innocent mistake.

"Trap" is considered a slur when used in reference to a transgendered individual, Farn. It's basically the same as calling someone a fake man or a fake woman in that context, and carries an insinuation of malice (as if the person is attempting to trick potential partners).

I don't see how that doesn't cross any sort of line regarding trolling or flamebaiting, particularly when the user in question made it expressly clear that they had absolutely no intention whatsoever of reporting what obviously would be a case of rulebreaking behavior (had that nation that was spreading clear-cut flaming and trollish posts actually been my puppet account) despite making four posts about it directly toward me, and I especially don't see how my negative reaction to these false accusations is remotely equivalent to those accusations from a moderation perspective.

You have to bear with some of us, we're not up on what is and is not a pejorative. All you would have had to do was reply to my reply to your report by pointing out what you thought was a slur, which you could have done in the original report.

I understand, but the fact that it was heated wasn't the cause for my request for a second opinion; Proctopeo's posts, to me, seem like they were meant to troll or flamebait as they spent four posts accusing me of egregious rule-breaking behavior and feigning another, deleted NSer's trollish, transphobic telegram sent to me, but didn't bother acting on it by simply submitting a report, which is the whole reason I asked for a second opinion.
