Today was... an interesting day to say the least. My old region basically died, I did somewhat okay on a French midterm, and I came home to find that the power was disconnected because the bills weren't paid.

Yep. And once again I was surprised that Sondheim was in on Gypsy. I always forget how old he is, he'll be 90 next year.

You knew that Gypsy Rose Lee wrote a murder mystery, right? The G-String Murders, which was made into Lady of Burlesque, starring Barbara Stanwyk. I've actually seen that, it was on TCM once upon a time.

I had read somewhere that Gypsy Rose Lee had written a book -- other than the one that became the musical -- but I didn't know more than that.

Apparently Elsa is very well known in the Hong Kong k1-p1 community of English learners.

Close to no one knows who Aurora is but say “ELSA” and they all get it. In fact, she has somehow become the default princess for many of the students to dress up as (I’m guessing there is a party after the class?)

One of the teachers said they greatly feared for the incoming Frozen 2 because Elsa’s power over the children will further increase.

Well, it had been a problem for a long time. It just came to a head when two of the approval panel left.
