Phew. They should stretch it to 3 years, like with the OT and PT.

I think once every two years works. It doesn't take that long to film and do VFX. Kathleen Kennedy was wrong when she justified Solo's failure basically with "we tried to do two movies in a year, and it didn't work". The real reason was that no one was interested, especially after TLJ. Two years works unless they are rushing the script and VFX. I haven't noticed any bad VFX yet in the disney star wars movies. They've been pretty good about that.

That nobody was interested in Solo and that the effects in the new Star Wars films are good are both self-evident.

In all honesty, Memorial Day weekend is an infamous dumping ground for movies. It says something that Solo broke records for that weekend despite being such a flop in the big picture. Plus, it still had competition from Infinity War and Deadpool 2. I also remember a distinct lack of market relative to even Rogue One.

Disney didn’t seem to ever have much faith in the movie.

It was called Star Wars: Republic from Dark Horse comics. Dark Horse also made 9 volumes of paperback collections titled Star Wars: Clone Wars which mostly had the Republic comics, as well as other comics like Star Wars: Tales.

It's like the engineers behind the Empire's designs have unlimited funds and no oversight. So they experiment and build the most impractical and funny things just for the lulz. I like how the Empire is consistently inefficient all across the board. From the death star to death troopers to TIE tanks.

I'm just going to ask for new poll ideas for once. My brain is in a bad state because I've spent the last few days moving into a new home and my sleep schedule has become nightmarish, I can't think straight.

Ideally, I like to use polls that are somewhat clever and/or are regarding things you don't think about too much. And appealing to as broad of a fanbase as possible.
