I always thought "fire" was the right term to use for artillery weapons, and "loose" was for archers/crossbowmen etc

It is just a semi popular show. The idea that GoT is some super special show or history making is just nonsense.

Obviously, IM is being deliberately absurd, but to say GoT is nothing special is also absurd. ASoIaF is a big, landmark work in its genre, and with the show it's reached an audience that would have laughed at the idea of watching fantasy TV. It's pretty much the first live-action Epic Fantasy TV show to find any sort of success. If you pay attention, there are a hell of a lot of fantasy books getting optioned for TV, and it's almost certainly because networks are rushing to try to find "the next GoT."

And I have to wonder what your definition of semi-popular is and what numbers you're using for that.
