Bio: Daniel Harris was born and raised an only child to two wealthy resteraunt moguls. As such, he could have anything he wanted at any time. His parents were doting, if not hovering at times, but he was never in trouble. With a gesture he could buy and move mountains, and with a grin he could have anyone on their knees.
Due to this lavish upbringing, he did everything he could to cure the boredom that comes with having everything. He partied for days, sold contraband to students and teachers alike, and generally raised hell. His powers ensured he was never caught, and his money ensured that it didn't matter if he was. However, nothing could satiate his discontent for long.
One day all of that changed. He had the experience of his life and needed more. You see, the equivalent of a small army had held his college in lockdown to hold the students hostage, Daniel suddenly disappeared. Threats were made, a search was sent out, and the president's niece (a friend of his) was held at gunpoint. Still, Daniel did not appear.
However, the army began dwindling little by little. Some were rendered unconscious with blunt objects, others shot with arrows from an unknown assailant, and still more taken down by the gun of an ally. The militaristic mercenaries were thrown into disarray. They couldn't find Daniel with heat tracking, on camera, or even by the sounds of his attacks until it was too late. Some shot wildly. 2 hit, but not lethally, and Daniel recieved his first experience with true risk. His adrenaline was pumping, and he was named the school's savior under a pseudonym.
That was the beggining of his career as a vigilante. He kept his connections, both good and bad, and continued his smuggling of contraband, but the true thrill was in heroics. He'd walk into bank robberies in broad daylight, slide past firefighters to save kids from buildings, and end hostage situations by the dozen. He didn't need a costume, because no one could see him. This somehow made it better. Police would try to stop him and he was faced with double the odds, which only fueled his adrenaline. The hero "Spectre" was born, to some nothing more than a menace. He didn't care how people saw his persona however, and lived life on the edge alone.
Eventually, he ran into the OR, joining them to tackle bigger problems. The risk of having other people just made the fire in his heart larger, and his teammates were counted amongst his greatest friends. Hero he was not, but Spectre sure loved doing good outside of the law.

- Combo: Hannah's punches, kicks, and other physical attacks get stronger as she continues to strike a target without interruption. Like a combo mechanism in a video game if she gets to a high enough number she can strike with devastating force.
- [Heightened Reflexes]: Hannah has super human reflexes that boarder on precognitive. Her boxer training plus her new abilities make her very difficult to hit in a fight.
- [World Class Boxer]: Before the accident Hannah was the best female boxer in the world, and her strength and skill boarder's on peak human.
- Build up- Combo increases very gradually, meaning she can't punch through a wall after two hits
- No range- Her ability only works for melee attacks, it is inapplicable for ranged attacks. Which means even if she uses her power to throw something that's where the combo ends.
- Interruption: If she is hit by anything, her combo ends
- Time: The combo can't last forever, if enough time passes she losses it
- Human: Bullets, knives, etc, she is only human(despite what the WBO may think)

There isn't much outside the OP at the moment, but since I created them feel free to ask me questions and I'll see if I can help.

Thanks, have a few questions.
What kind of life span do they have? They seem to have some similarities to the Martains from the DC universe, "...green psionic, shapeshifting species..." so I was wondering if they have the same extended life span or any of the other racial qualities/abilities.
Could I possibly get more details on what the psionic and shapeshifting abilities would entail, such as strengths and limitations? Additionally are there any other important "Racial Powers/Weaknesses/Limitations" the Ma'gar have?
As this character is an alien, would I be allowed to give this character a superpower outside of the natural racial powers (psionic and shapeshifting)?
The power conceptHe has an fear based empathic manipuation aura, the ability currently only activates subconciously when he is threatened or frightened.
I have a rough draft of the basic plot points for the characters backstory for why he is on earth;Based on the life span of the Ma'gar, I'm going with the backstory that my character OR characters family/lineage has been in hiding on Earth for insert vague time span (thinking centuries). During WWII him/his family lived thru the prosecution of Nazi Germany and was discovered, and subsequently captured, by the Nazi's. He/his family was experimented on, and was eventually freed at the end of WWIi. Using his/their natural shapeshifting capabilities he/they went back into hiding.
If the Ma'gar have long life spans, he will takes on a new human alias every 60-70 years. My character, hoping to live openly within the world takes on the form of a 17 y.o human male and enrolls into the school.
If Ma'gar have normal or slightly extended beyond human life spans he will be enrolled in the school because while his parents know what it feels like to be persecuted for being an alien they are hopeful for their son to live openly in the world.

They would have an extended lifespan yes.
As for details on the powers, feel free to fill in those specific blanks yourself. I’d say that unlike martians they shouldn’t all be psionic and shapeshifting. Rather the specific abilities should depend on the Ma’gar in question.
by High Buzz » Fri May 17, 2019 2:07 am
- [Shapeshifting]: Ma'gar are capable of altering their physical form, on a cellular level, to blend into any and all enviorments they find themselves in, it is very useful for integrating into any alien society by mimicing the apperance of other species. Additionally this can aid in granting the Ma'gar different forms of movement, such as flight, altering their volume(stature) or density, altering the chemical composition of their bodies, adapting to their environment, etc.
- [Malleability]: (Sub-power to Shapeshifting) Ma'gar can bend, elongate and stretch their body and limbs at will. This allows them to create body natural weapons.
- [Psionic Manifestation]: Many, though not all, Ma'gar have some sort of Psionic manifestation. (See Powers)
- [Longevity]: Ma'gar can live for many centuries before reaching old age.
- [Limited Shapeshifting]: Living most of his life hiding his true identity, T'ranik has a very limited imagination on what he can actually shapeshift into, mostly limited to mimicing humans and taking on the shape of various small woodland animals.
- [Psionic Manifestation]: Many Ma'gar never manifest psionic abilities above minor mental powers. Due to this only a very few rare members of the race, at its peak, had manifested major psionic abilities.
- [Empathic Manipulation (Fear)]: T'ranik has an fear based empathic manipuation aura, the ability currently only activates subconciously when he is threatened or frightened.
- [Psionic Manifestation unknown]: Currently T'ranik believes he has no psionic abilities manifested, so only in situations where he feels as if his life is threatened the aura activates subconciously. The aura is only a 50 ft radius, but will also affect friend as much as foe.
- [Very timid]: Will never instigate a confrontation, T'ranik has been the guinea pig of Nazi scientist during WWII and is mentally scarred by the events.
- [Loves Humanity as a whole]: While T'ranik has seen the pits of dispair and true evil nature of humans, T'ranik has also seen the depths of love and compassion strangers can have for one another.
- [Fearful]: Afraid of being persecuted for being an alien, and being experimented on again, T'ranik swore to never use his powers infront of humans and to stay hidden away.
- [Fear Aura]: The subconcious manifestation of the aura of fear affects not only his foe's but all that are within the aura, including friends.
- [Weird Science]: Due to his time in the Nazi labs, T'ranik is deeply fearful of all scientists and labs.

We can make villain characters, but I feel like time manipulation would be too game breaking unless severely limited.

What was Earl Grey's limitations - didn't that guy's stopwatch give him some limited time manip.? Could use those as a bit of a baseline to try and balance stuff
[Pocket Watch]: Earl Grey's most prized possession is his pocket watch, passed down from his father, who passed it down from his father, and so forth. Truly ahead of its time, its archaic design hides a technologically advanced secret: the pocket watch is capable of stopping time. For a maximum of ten seconds (in frozen time seconds), Earl Grey (or anyone else who touches the stopwatch) will be allowed to roam about freely when time is stopped, either to evade incoming attacks, sneak up on targets, or strike them without them knowing. The stop watch must recharge after each use, however.

Accepted, great app Buzz.
Do you have Discord? We have an invite to the roleplay's server in the OP, if you want to join and discuss your ideas in real time.
As for your question about villains, yes, you can apply a villain. As some people have said, time manipulation powers are tricky, so if you could elaborate on the character's exact powers, limitations and weaknesses that would be great.

Absolutely, I'll join the Discord soon as I get home. Grabbin dinner atm. And I have some ideas, very willing to work with others on the build. Timey-wimey powers are my favorite super power in fiction.
