Kai holsters her pistol, strap undone so she can draw it quickly, she heads to her quarters for some R&R.
Once she arrives, she flops on her bunk, and begins to doze lightly, door closed and secured, not even that augmented motherfucker who broke her hand could get through it.

The leaders of the various regiments assigned to the Jade Turtle Fleet and the mech squads assigned to them were seated in a briefing room, Six sitting next to "Vegas". Admiral Diaochan entered the room, the lights diming as a holographic map of Cao Cao flickered to life. "Thank you all for coming. I know that those of you who witnessed the carnage in Zhang Xiu would need more time to fully recover from the traumatic experience, but unfortunately, we do not have that luxury. The Machine Army has simultaneously launched three piecemeal attacks: one on the spaceport city of Yuan Tan, one on the mining town of Gao Yao, and one on the naval base at Tao Qian. Due to their experience in desert warfare, the 505TH will cover the Tian Kai Desert Fighters' retreat from Yuan Tan. The 12th Diocletian, the 16th Hojo, and the 75th Barca will reinforce Gao Yao. The 1st Napoleon and the 3rd Manhattan will be deployed to attack the enemy supply lines, as a direct engagement with the attacking force will only result in slaughter. These orders come directly from Angel herself. Dismissed." Admiral Diaochan said to the assembled leaders as she turned off the holographic map, the lights returning to their usual brightness as everyone left the room.

Kai wakes up a few hours later, she rolls out of her bed, checks her room to make sure no crazy-augmented motherfuckers have been in it, then walks out into the corridor. She makes her way to the captain's quarters, when she arrives, she knocks on the door.

Z-X 600
The battle had raged for three hours, the minefields having slowed their advance to a snail's pace as they assaulted the enemy trenches, the garrison troops and regular army units having made them pay for every inch, antiquated rail guns, installed prior to the Rise of The Warlords, having brought down the Epimethean Titans while staying out of range of their cannons, anti-air guns shooting down the fighter-bombers. However, the outer defenses, while effective, were beginning to crumble, the Epimethean Titans getting closer to the railguns as the Z-X androids and X-320 Demolition units overran the trenches. Against such overwhelming force, the city would fall in another hour or two, retreat being the only hope of survival for the Tian Kai Desert Fighters. Z-X 600 had been instructed to cut off their avenue of escape and destroy them all or, failing that, hunt them down and destroy them before they can reach the safety of Fort Gongsun Zan. Suddenly, as if answering a prayer to the Gods, fast moving blips appeared on the radar, heading towards Yuan Tan's rear defenses.

He answers the door “hey, Kai, you alright, I heard you had to deal with that laughing man” he let her in, there was a pile of paper on his desk scattered everywhere

Angel

“Damn it, as long as they can take our equipment this will be a slaughter” she said in frustration as she watched the battlefield from the ship “and we can’t even get in there to do anything” she slammed her fist into the desk in anger “those demons, we can’t fucking touch them”

HEL

“We don’t want anyone of them to escape” she said in joy as she watched the her underlings do something without her assistance “we come closer to our goals” her sadistic side taking great enjoyment as the humans were crushed with ease

Connor Jax
The 52nd Cao Cao and 505TH had landed, the mechs and armored vehicles opening fire on any Z-X androids, X-320 Demolition Units, and Epimethean Titans that got in range, the tanks and armored vehicles using their superior speed and maneuverability to take out the legs of the large androids. "The 52nd Cao Cao has finally arrived. I hope you are not here to reinforce the defenses. Our front line is crumbling and our flanks are doing no better. By my estimate, they should engage the inner defenses within an hour. The only hope for the survival of the Tian Kai Desert Fighters is a fighting retreat. Hopefully, you can buy us enough time to make it to Fort Gongsun Zan. In case you are wondering, yes, I am an android. If there is one thing that the Alpha Series is know for, getting hacked is not one of them." A-4 said to Six as explosion could be heard in the distance. "There goes the rail guns." A-4 said to Six as the Machine Army pressed the attack. "We will do what we can, but there are no guarantees." Connor Jax replied.

Kai stepped in and saluted

"Yes, sir, put up a damn good fight, could we just shoot him and be done with it" Kai said jokingly. "And if I may ask sir, where are we going?"

“The mechs have been redesigned, let’s see how they like our new troops” mechs soon flew to the location and landed right on top of some tanks and grabbed them then threw them at other tanks “these will channel my anger, fast as ever and just as strong” she giggled “play with them Zeus and Nox” the mechs nodded

“Damn I can’t be down there now, not before we get an anti-virus” she sighed “ the biggest issue with tech based gear” she soon received reports of the mechs “wait that can’t be, I was told we got all mechs out of there” she seemed worried that even the voice changer couldn’t keep in its normal calm robotic voice “find their weakness fast!”

Connor Jax
"We don't have time to wait for that. The 505TH needs its leader." Connor Jax said to Six as Nox jumped right in front of them and roared. A-4 opened fire, the 37mm cannon hitting the left elbow, the forearm, wrist, and hand falling to the ground. Six followed up with a quick slash, causing Nox to fall to the ground, the android inside unable to move the mech's legs due to being detached. "It appears that the AI controlling these Androids decided to rush out her experimental mechs." A-4 said to Connor Jax before Orion unleashed a salvo, finishing off the heavy assault mech.
Zeus
"I have lost contact with Nox. Most likely cause of signal termination: destruction of mech. Enemy forces closing in. Request withdrawal to minimum safe distance." Zeus said to Z-X 600 as he scanned the battlefield, detecting tank destroyers approaching its location. "Request granted. However, once you have withdrawn to a suitable location, you will destroy as many of the garrison's remaining field guns as you can. The Jötunn is a failure. Now it is time for the Oni to earn its wings." Z-X 600 said to Zeus, the AI immediately flying away from the raging battle, effortlessly dodging anti-air fire.

Comander

“Sadly we can’t shoot him dead, that’s the rule of death watch, they are a redemption squad, he just there to ensure people die so he will never be redeemed” he walk to his desk “we are going to a spot to send off the old commander of ymir”

HEL

“My poor child, I shall take vengeance for your death” she began linking with oni “connecting with oni, I shall see the battlefield myself and exterminate resistance” she was soon connected, she did checks on all her systems and movements, soon she walked out the hanger, her jets firing up

Six

“If you don’t hurry up, we are gonna get wiped by unknowns” soon something came on radar, it was moving at super fast speed “we got a target coming at extreme speeds, please ready yourselfs” she then cursed under her breath

"Remember, we do not know how long the Kappa can stay airborne, so you may have to land sooner than later. Speaking of the Kappa, I don't know why you have an Oni variant designed for underwater combat shipped to a hangar in the Tian Kai Desert. The armor may be strong enough to go twenty thousand leagues before being crushed by ocean pressure, but you had us rush all six Kappa to the front lines before we could test it against weapons fire." Z-X 600 said to Hel as missile launches were detected, the anti-air defenses having detected the Kappa. While the Kappa managed to avoid most of them, one of the missiles that hit destroyed its thruster pack, causing it to fall to the ground. Luckily for HEL, the redundant systems bore the brunt of the impact, allowing the Kappa to get back up and continue fighting.

She laughed as she landed with grace “it’s a trial by fire, don’t you know what that means” she shut off the lower half of the kappa jets where the missile hit “I’ll be traveling across the ground, give me the fastest route” ZX soon sent her the data, she then pulled out her gun as the jets realigned themselves “moving now” she slid across the ground the jets pushing her

After an hour, Z-X 600 called up HEL again. "It appears that your embarrassing display has exhausted the thruster pack's fuel supply faster than we expected. However, while you were able to get close enough to attack five of the enemy's largest field guns, recon photos from that satellite you hacked reveal that the elevation of their position is too high for you to hit them with your anti-air missiles while prone. You will have to crouch or stand up to do any meaningful damage." Z-X 600 said to HEL in a snarky tone.

HEL

she laughed “I planned for everything, you just dont see the big picture” a robot from behind ZX slaps him in the back of the head then walks off “now lose that snarky tone and watch what a warmind AI can do” she soon transferred fuel from the unusable kappa jets to the usable ones, only giving her a quarter of fuel in each, she soon reached a rock formation that the field guns sat on top of. She began doing fast calculations on how to swiftly climb it “one obstacle out of many” she chuckled as she used the jets to assist in climbing the formation “begin second wave on any base, by the time They hit, these guns and anti-air will be gone” she soon reached the top and as she climbed she crushed one of three field guns providing artillery support and threw it another one causing the ammo in both to explode and she shot the other blowing it up with the HE rounds she using. “Target eliminated” she said as she crouched down on the the rock and her shoulder mounted artillery cannon powered up and she began finding a firing solution on the AA gun. She then unleashed a full barrage and used the ammo left from the batteries to refill.

“Damn it, we just lost battery support along with the AA” she then cursed under her breath “what’s the ETA on those fuck in the base getting out, cause we need to leave if this keeps up” she crossed her arms

"That's to bad. Who's that?" Kai said stepping in, standing before the captain's desk. Her hand still hurt, the medpack had helped, but it was still messed up.

“Who, the commander of ymir fleet?” He looked at her puzzled “his face is literally everywhere, he basically their poster boy, now their selecting a new one, heard it was a young woman named Amaterasu who is going to be the commander” he said while grabbing a cup of coffee “want some?” He said holding out a coffee cup

"The enemy still has artillery support and my twin lightning cannons only have enough juice to take out seven of them. As for Z-X 600's s snarky attitude, I find it a refreshing change from the sycophantic chatter in the hangar." Zeus said to Hel as he began charging his twin lightning cannons.
A-4
"We can afford to lose the anti-air guns at this point in the evacuation. As for the explosion, that came from the cliff where the garrison had positioned their five largest field guns. There are ten artillery emplacements nearby, but they will be destroyed or overrun soon." A-4 said to Six as transports had reached the city limits, escorted by mechs and armored vehicles.

“I find it annoying and I wish to reprogram him” she said in a monotoned voice “now please deal with the targets” she points out the artillery “I need to get in broadcast position to take over the mechs they brought”

Z-X 600
"Unfortunately, the Kappa will not be able to do that without connecting to an external source and the only one with the range necessary to achieve your goal is the air traffic control tower at the spaceport, which, if the Intel we have recovered is to be believed, has most likely have been sabotaged at the start of the evacuation." Z-X 600 said to HEL as Zeus fired the Twin Lightning Cannons, the arcs of electricity hitting their mark, destroying seven of the ten artillery emplacements.

"Thank you sir." Kai said, taking the coffee cup " Oh wait, yeah, I remember him now. I'd forgotten about him, never really in to caring about the mascots." Kai said, taking a swig of the coffee." One thing about the RCMC is it has good coffee machines."

Amaterasu
The combat was about to began again, Thor going up against Legion, the light recon mech notorious for creating holographic duplicates of itself. As expected, Legion created seven identical "clones" of itself, a tactic meant to confuse larger opponents before going in for the kill. Thor charged up its hammer and swung at the central mech, hitting its mark as hard as it can, the holographic duplicates fading as the hammer's electricity shorted out its circuits, the light recon mech falling to the ground. As Legion was being dragged out of the arena by a repair team, Tesla entered the arena. Thor assumed a balanced stance, Amaterasu knowing that Thor could not overwhelm this mech with brute force or cunning, but speed. Tesla charged up and attacked, Thor dodging its blows while making a few attacks of opportunity. This song and dance continued for three hours until finally, Thor and Tesla landed a decisive blow, ending the match in a draw.

Zeus
Zeus fired his twin lightning cannons, the sudden arc of electricity destroying seven of the remaining enemy emplacements. The remaining three fired a shot. Then another. Then another. Then another. And then the guns fell silent, the lights of wielding torches shinning brightly, a sign that the position had been overrun. Demoralized by the destruction they had witnessed and realizing all hope of holding the line had been lost, garrison troops and regular army units began joining the Tian Kai Desert Fighters in retreat, the 52nd Cao Cao rushing their tanks and mechs to protect the left flank of the growing convoy from enemy troops, the 505TH guarding the right flank and the rear.

“Nah that’s just because I hand make it” he smiled “anyway, they aren’t just mascots, the best of the best is chosen to be the commander of ymir fleet” everything soon felt weightless “so have you ever heard of the void ship?” He took a sip of his coffee

the dead man last fight

Odin and the laughing man entered the small mech transport to assault and take over the AIP legendary planet. This would be Odin’s last mission and so he had given his hand carved cane to his aid to give to the winner of the tournament. He will not be able to congratulate the young commander when the fight was over so he left the cane in his stead. This mission would be brutal and with no back up, once they reached the planet they need to set up a wormhole transport.

HEL

She laughed “easy” she charged at the mechs “no need for the tower if I can just touch them” shots bouncing off her armor due to it all being slanted “guns are ineffective against my magnificent design, now die” she plunged the mechs hand in the back of the enemy mech soon hacking it and taking control “now kill the weak, you are the hunter and they the prey, feast!” She dropped the mech the pilot inside freaking out as he lost control of the mech. The mech soon stood up the pilot hatch opening up as the mech reached in and grabbed the pilot and tried eating it but failed and only crushed the pilot on its face. It then looked at the others, it dropped its gun and got on all fours, it ran them as they shot at it, each shot hitting its mark, but it didn’t stop the beast as it killed the tanks and tried to devour them. HEL sat on a nearby building and watched, enjoy everything little thing “Yes my darling keep on and mother shall soon make it so you can devour them all” she giggled as the beast she created went rampant.

Lieutenant Lu Shen
"Pilot has ejected. Safeties off." Lieutenant Lu Shen said to his squad as they raised their main guns and fired a volley, the heavy mech falling to the ground in flames. "Scratch one bogey. Casualties minimal." Lieutenant Lu Shen said over the comms as he and his squad regrouped with the rest of the 52nd Cao Cao.
Z-X 600
"Negative. The closer you get to the enemy mechs, the further you get from fire support. I have already diverted four brigades of our fastest land based units from this siege. They have been modified for desert combat and will be able to keep up with the Tian Kai Desert Fighters better than a Kappa. For now, I advise that you direct your attention to Yuan Tan, as the garrison troops and regular army units inside the city are better entrenched than we anticipated. Oh, and before I forget, please don't order the troops to perform another macrabe display. We do not have time to deal with the resulting rat infestation." Z-X 600 said to HEL.
