While I'm salty about Wilson for obvious reasons, I honestly think that even as a US president, he was nowhere as bad as, say, Andrew Jackson (Especially for his trail of tears) in my personal opinion.

Andrew Jackson was the man who (symbolically or otherwise) shifted the image of Republicanism away from the coastal elite and towards average Americans.

... and away from any kind of amelioration for the natives.

While I'm salty about Wilson for obvious reasons, I honestly think that even as a US president, he was nowhere as bad as, say, Andrew Jackson (Especially for his trail of tears) in my personal opinion.

While the Trail of Tears was completely fucked up and completely unnecessary, he did not cause the same absurd levels of lasting damage to most people (who were not Cherokee) that Wilson did.

If I must provide my take on the worst President, I'd say that the distinction would go to Buchanan. At least to my knowledge, and do correct me if I'm mistaken, it was his incompetence that led to the War of Southern Treason that almost ripped the Union asunder.

Me:
Being among a society that legally professes such a belief and conducting business in such a way does not contradict professing God alone because we are in the world but should not be of the world. Plus the individual Christian should treat the Emperor as his earthly sovereign and give him respect but anything above simple human respect is a no no. It is still the act which is contrary to Christian belief, the act no matter what can not be done in a good conscience especially because it is offering a sacrifice. I will disappear shortly because of work so my responses shall be varied.

The spread of Jacksonian Democracy doesn't outweigh his dictatorial behavior and the Trail of Tears, but it does help save him from the dubious honor of "worst president"
