So I still get to have a second day off work, for the next week at least. I'd like it to stay that way, but we shall have to see.

Out of sheer curiosity, what line of work are you in? We both seem to have awful hours.

At the moment, I'm just working food service. However, I'm in the process of planning my exit and starting my career in earnest.

I don't. I much prefer older music to today,s music, but in 2019, you get the music of 1985 and the music of 2019, along with many years before and every year in between.

Here's to hoping you get out of food service sooner rather than later - been there, not a good time.

Yes I know, but I would prefer living through the world of crazy, flashy and cheesiness of the 80s glam metal and new wave synth pop. Plus I was listening to 1985 by Bowling For Soup...

Thoughts on that wonderful Aussie spread, Vegemite?

Can't get enough of the stuff, especially with butter. Marmite is good too.

I think it's good on toast, but I of course have the benefit of exposure that those born outside of Australia do not.

Basically, it looks like chocolate spread, but tastes like salt and vinegar.

It has the color of salt soy sauce and pretty much the same taste as well, but you put it on bread or toast as a sandwich spread.
