I can't say I've ever had Krispy Kreme outside of western North Carolina, no.

It tends to be my last resort choice for donuts here in the US. In my mind, their donuts are too dry. In reality, I probably just bought a donut that they let get a little too old once. There's nothing wrong with it really. Also, in my experience, sometimes American chains are better outside the USA.

But do you have J Co Donuts there? I tried them when I was in Indonesia, and those were excellent.

They do. ANd funnily enough, while I'm not in Singapore, it was the office intern's last day here and she brought in a huge box of JCo Donuts and now I feel bad for eating way too many.

Springsteen, Madonna, way before Nirvana there was U2 and Blondie, and music still on MTV. Oh how the days of 1985 were much simpler... I wish I was around then. :(

When someone brings donuts, you eat too many. That's simply what you do. It's your civic duty. You can't just let your officemates grow obese. Way to take one (or two or three) for the team!

For real though. I'd take JCo over Dunkin any day. Gives Krispy Kreme a run for their money too.

I suppose growing older than 40 is too much to ask. Alright, what the hell. Will America accept an immigrant from one of its old colonies?

'82-'85 was possibly the peak of the 80s music scene.

If your dog can count it might be better at STEMming than you. Put the dog down as the candidate and yourself as a dependent.

Grandma came to Phoenix the same day I did - and she must've made thirty tortillas as well as an obscene amount of chili in the style her Spanish mother taught her. The Spanish/Galician food is so damn delicious, I'm already anticipating a need to loosen my belt in the coming days.

Fair. It's about time my dog started pulling his weight. All he does is run around the house and lick himself all day. Apparently it's too much to ask for him to start contributing to the house.

Well, with the exception of New Wave music and screwball 80s comedies. I can be a pretentious prick when it comes to cinema, but god, I really do adore wacky 80s movies.
