Good, good. Now make it for everyone!
Right to repair is just one of those common sense consumer protection things. Or at least it should be.

Biden may be doing well right now, but I doubt he'll last. I think his terrible political record, his creepy touchy behavior towards women and young girls, and his tendency to make gaffes will sink his campaign. I doubt Biden will make it past the first few primaries. And I think Bernie has a good chance of doing really well in the primaries and becoming the Democratic nominee. If that happens, Bernie will beat Trump easily in the general.
This sounds almost like Trump, and look where he is...

That’s a winning policy. You know farmers are, right now, cracking their John Deere tractors with Ukrainian firmware just to fix them and use them?
Back in March, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, another Democratic presidential hopeful, springboarded the right-to-repair conversation from a mostly state-level issue to a national one with her own support of a national law for farmers. Warren wrote in a Medium post at the time that this law “should require manufacturers of farm equipment to make diagnostic tools, manuals, and other repair-related resources available to any individual or business, not just their own dealerships and authorized agents.”
“This will not only allow individuals to fix their own equipment — reducing delays — but it will also create competition among dealers and independent repair shops, bringing down prices overall,” she added.

By the way, none of these candidates are going to be a "McGovern v2.0" because Bernie, Biden, whatever, right now have broad support from people. It's not going to be "Blowout Bernie" or whatever. EDIT, I'd like to also add that Trump is widely unpopular for a President with a good economy and other results - disputable how much they are attributed to him - "generic Democrat" would give Trump a run for his money either way because of that.
Also, about news outlets favoring Biden - well - that's not surprising. Neither is Bernie losing in 2016, what is surprising is the whining over his loss and failure to understand he would have lost the primary either way and that "insurgent candidate" when you become a Democrat only once every four years is not going to get you favors, allies and friends in the party apparatus.

Id like to see a woman on the ticket for VP. Maybe Amy Klobuchar, Kamala Harris, Tammy Baldwin or maybe Stacey Abrams.

If the Democrats are going to have any success, they're going to need someone from the Rust Belt on ticket, whether President or VP. Harris and Abrams should not be VPs, their personality types wouldn't accept that; they like leadership roles. Now Harris as an Attorney General? Maybe. Now, if they won the nomination, they would need to pick someone from the Rust Belt.

Baldwin or Klobuchar would be good then. or maybe a congresswoman from Michigan, Ohio or Illinois?

Man, getting a headline that isn't about her college paperwork is rough for Warren:Back in March, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, another Democratic presidential hopeful, springboarded the right-to-repair conversation from a mostly state-level issue to a national one with her own support of a national law for farmers. Last I checked he was somewhere up like 40(!)% nationally, that's bona fide front runner status, whereas before it was possible that someone could easily breakthrough, now it looks terribly unlikely.

I'm still in support of Buttigieg, I think. But I can live with Biden. And Bernie of course.
