What percentage of the population do women make up? 54%
What is the perception of women in society? Women are also seen to be providers like men in a family, but it depends a lot on the provinces themselves. In the Americas (Kingdom of Mexico, etc.), women have a more "independent attitude" while in the more-muslim states (ex. Mesopotamia) women are rarely seen in the workforce, which has been an issue that has made those regions be less growing than other states.
What clothes are women expected to wear? Depends, too.
Are women expected to wear make-up or cosmetics? No, make-up is seen as for cosmetic and professional purposes only
Do women usually hold a job? Most do, actually.
If so, what kind of jobs? Can go from being CEO (Like Marisela Pámanes, CEO of TelecoMex) to being simple cleaners. Social mobility is mostly equal to those of men
Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally? Soldiers, mostly.
Are there any jobs that have recently allowed women? More administrative positions, this was in 1943.
What is the public opinion of women holding jobs? Depends on the region, but is neutral.

What is the perception of women in society? Normal?
What clothes are women expected to wear? Clothes that are suiting to their position and rank.
Are women expected to wear make-up or cosmetics? Limited, not necessarily at all, it depends again on position and rank and various other factors.
Do women usually hold a job? Yes
If so, what kind of jobs? All kind of jobs pretty much with few exceptions. Philosophy, History and a small number of other intellectual fields are a male domain with few females active there.
Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally? Woman were once upon a time not allowed into the Philosopher Caste. That has however being changed since, long time ago. Not that many go for it anyways.
Are there any jobs that have recently allowed women? N/A
What is the public opinion of women holding jobs? Its entirely normal.

Name of country: Coliniana

What percentage of the population do women make up? Via our last census in 2014 we estimate about 53% of Coliniana's population is female.
What is the perception of women in society? Overall equal to men. Coliniana accepted women as equal to men very early in its history.
What clothes are women expected to wear? Typical attire for women in Coliniana tends to be t-shirts and jeans, as that's just how fashion is here at the moment. Brightly colored hoodies or shoes are also somewhat popular.
Are women expected to wear make-up or cosmetics? Many do, but this is not considered a societal trademark of Coliniana by any means.
Do women usually hold a job? The unemployment rate in Coliniana according to our last census were the same to the tenth of a decimal point. So, yes, basically.
If so, what kind of jobs? It is very very very illegal for almost all employers to discriminate based on gender, race, sexual orientation, or any other factor deemed subjectively negative that is beyond a person's control unless it can be legally proven to hinder job performance. What this means is that women hold basically all the same jobs that men do with very little difference in ratio unless by pure happenstance.
Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally? Women are not allowed to do any job for two months before and five months after giving birth. Think of it as a mandatory maternity leave, and also women will be paid 75% of their wages during this time.
Are there any jobs that have recently allowed women? All employers were legally mandated to cease discrimination based on gender after it was decreed by Federal Consul Jansinius Ajax in 1767. The last protest of this act was by the coal mining industry which was quelled in a court of law in 1824.
What is the public opinion of women holding jobs? Initially Ajax's decree was wildly unpopular, but by the end of his reign in 1780 public opinion has vastly improved regarding this issue due to the clear and undeniable increase in productivity following the decree.

Do women usually hold a job? They work with the rest of the family.
If so, what kind of jobs? Farming, manufacturing jobs, scavenging, nurses, cooks.
Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally? Criminal or most church positions.

What is the perception of women in society? That they're far better at raising children than men are.

Are women expected to wear make-up or cosmetics? It's typical, but nobody's going to lynch a woman for not doing so.
Do women usually hold a job? Depends on the location, the further out you travel from Mississippi and Alabama, the more women have jobs.
If so, what kind of jobs? Whatever they've proven themselves to be adept at.
Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally? No, though specific businesses may enact male-only or female-only policies.
Are there any jobs that have recently allowed women? Not in the last few years.

What is the perception of women in society? It depends on the area. In most of the country they are viewed as largely equal to men, but the least developed rural areas are more conservative.
What clothes are women expected to wear? Traditional clothing in the State of Cureira, else it is relatively free. The increasing ubiquity of revealing clothing has prompted some concerns about objectification.
Are women expected to wear make-up or cosmetics? In most of the country, not really, though some do in the most international cities, following the trends of other countries. In Cureira, women are expected to wear traditional make-up, at the very least on special ocasions.
Do women usually hold a job? Yes
If so, what kind of jobs? Usually the same as men, though some jobs (such as household workers) have a very skewed gender ratio
Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally? Controversially, they are barred from being village chiefs in Cureira, though there's a strong movement for the inclusion of women. Of note is the fact that "village chief" is not an official position of any kind and thus is outside most of Plaetopia's labor laws.
Are there any jobs that have recently allowed women? No (broad equality was achieved in the 1970s and 1980s)
What is the public opinion of women holding jobs? It is generally viewed as normal, though women might be pressured not to in the least developed areas.

There are no "women" on Jaiana Station. To be slightly clearer, we are a post-gender society which has moved beyond the confines of gender roles. Biologically speaking, there are of course females, just as there are males and a small minority of people who do not neatly fit into either category. However, the actual appearances and behaviours of all of these groups are near indistinguishable - it's almost impossible to tell a male from a female merely from the way they dress or act. In fact, most males on Jaiana Station would appear very feminine (from the point of view of someone visiting from modern-day Earth) as does everyone else, as this is the prevailing fashion on the ring. Adding to this confusion, the rings' inhabitants are also notable for their 'childlike' appearance even after puberty, dramatically reducing apparent sexual dimorphism in any case. There are, therefore, essentially no societal expectations about how 'men' or 'women' should act, or even a recognition that 'men' and 'women' are separate categories

What is the perception of women in society?: they are often seen as angels and an 'honourable' woman is seen as the honour of her family. In addition she can be educated and exercise political power as well as own property as well as a man. She is not drafted into military service.
However, women are held to different moral standards then men, women who are flirtatious or interested in male attention are seen as 'dangerous' and women with multiple partners are seen as 'harlots'

What clothes are women expected to wear? modest ones, often a hijab and jilbab.
Are women expected to wear make-up or cosmetics?: no but they can if they wish
Do women usually hold a job?: yes especially amongst the poorer peasantry where this is required, amongst the nobility and bourgeoisie it is more optional.
If so, what kind of jobs?: typically the same jobs as the men in their family: the and daughters of peasants work the fields, the wives and daughters of artisans help in the family craft, the wives and daughters of nobles including religious leaders who hold certain religious honorifics especially Islamic, academics, hereditary title holders, those granted titles for military service and judges work within these fields except the women are not normally in the military, the wives and daughters of businesspeople are typically businesswomen, the wives and daughters of yeoman farmers typically are involved in the family etc.
Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally?: Only the same jobs men are barred from in most khanates, some khans don't allow infantrywomen and women in many jobs work in all-female groups for example female infantry people and female prison guards.
Are there any jobs that have recently allowed women?: no.
What is the public opinion of women holding jobs?: They are respected but stay at home mothers are also respected.

Name of country: Paraisouro

What percentage of the population do women make up? 50%
What is the perception of women in society? Women are seen as equal to men by the majority of people in the country. There are some more conservative people who don't hold this view, but they're in the minority.
What clothes are women expected to wear? Whatever they want, as long as people are wearing clothes no one really cares. Obviously the dress code changes based on the situation (for example women should dress modestly in a church) but there isn't a clear "this is how women need to dress"
Are women expected to wear make-up or cosmetics? It's common but not required, plenty of women don't wear makeup.
Do women usually hold a job? Most women without children and women with older children do. Women with young children will often stay home if they can afford it, but currently the country doesn't have paid maternity leave so some women need to work even if they would rather stay home.
If so, what kind of jobs? Almost all types of jobs, teachers, lawyers, small business owners, nurses, factory workers, etc. Service industry jobs and tourism jobs are especially common though.
Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally? Not anymore
Are there any jobs that have recently allowed women? Combat soldiers
What is the public opinion of women holding jobs? All but the very conservative support it
