Postby Pacific Federal State » Sun Apr 28, 2019 10:26 pm

Howdy all,
Found this article while browsing the website of the NZ Herald(A local Auckland newspaper) about a list of 48 "extremist tendencies" according to the Chinese government.
Link: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/a ... d=12226178

One "extremist tendency" is I quote is "owning welding equipment",I'm like how can owning welding equipment be an extremist tendency?

For those who can't be arsed, here's the bizarro list (and it is bizarre, probably even from the standpoint of an average subject of Emperor Poohbah and His Middle Kingdom):

Owning a tent
Telling others not to swear
Speaking with someone who has travelled abroad
Owning welding equipment
Telling others not to sin
Owning extra food
Eating breakfast before the sun comes up
Merely knowing someone who has travelled abroad
Owning a compass
Arguing with an official
Publicly stating that China is inferior to some other country
Owning multiple knives
Sending a petition that complains about local officials
Having too many children
Abstaining from alcohol
Not allowing officials to sleep in your bed, eat your food, and live in your house
Having a VPN
Abstaining from cigarettes
Not having your government ID on your person
Having WhatsApp
Wailing, publicly grieving, or otherwise acting sad when your parents die
Not letting officials take your DNA
Watching a video filmed abroad
Wearing a scarf in the presence of the Chinese flag
Wearing a hijab (if you are under 45)
Going to a mosque
Praying
Fasting
Listening to a religious lecture
Not letting officials scan your irises
Not letting officials download everything you have on your phone
Not making voice recordings to give to officials
Speaking your native language in school
Speaking your native language in government work groups
Speaking with someone abroad (via Skype, WeChat, etc.)
Wearing a shirt with Arabic lettered writing on it
Having a full beard
Wearing any clothes with religious iconography
Not attending mandatory propaganda classes
Not attending mandatory flag-raising ceremonies
Not attending public struggle sessions (the public humiliation of political rivals)
Refusing to denounce your family members or yourself in these public struggle sessions
Trying to kill yourself when detained by the police
Trying to kill yourself when in the education camps
Performing a traditional funeral
Inviting multiple families to your house without registering with the police department
Being related to anyone who has done any of the above

It would be nice if the OP copypastes the above list while adding way more meat to his post.

This is obviously a parody. Not even North Korea is totalitarian enough to imprison someone because they're related to someone who owns a compass.
The American Empire is a socially progressive absolute monarchy run by the heirs of Emperor Norton. It started off at MT but has rapidly advanced to PMT through interdimensional travel. All NSstats are used, except for tax rate and population. Factbooks are currently under reconstruction.

Insha-Allah either East Turkestan will be free or the brothers and sisters (including non-East Turkestani/Muslim Uighurs) will have to make hijrah.

May Allah SWT strengthen our brothers and sisters in China, aameen. May Allah SWT punish China until it either depends or changes its ways, aameen.

The more I think about it, the more I see the context within Xinjiang.

For instance, owning a tent and compass means you want to go mountaineering. Now who takes a hike to a mountain? Filthy Islamist rebels.

Telling people not to swear or to sin? A sign of a moral compass different from that of Emperor Poohbah's -- rebellious.

Attending a traditional funeral? You entertain a people and a way of life distinctly different from that promulgated from Beijing -- that marks you as a rebel. Ditto for making your sadness too obvious, etc.

Not allowing officials to sleep in your bed, eat your food, and live in your house.

Holy fuck.

I have about 20 of these. And a few that are not applicable (mandatory propaganda classes, government work, etc.). And one that is technically true, but just weirdly out of context (speaking native language in school).

I haven't lived in Holland since 2013. Rest of Netherlands since 2017.

And NL is where I went to school.

Or are you confused about the general topic? I was merely reading through the statements and see which one applies to me.

A lot of this is quite beautiful though I’m not sure what the bit about camping equipment is, maybe they’re worried about people going into the wildnerness to form rebel camps.

Oh, do PLEASE tell me what is beautiful about being essentially forced to smoke or drink, and not mourn the loss of loved ones or own too many knives otherwise you fall under suspicion. All of these things and its the fucking tents you find to be a bit too odd.
