Kiana & Caja with Tim
Tim's taxi eventually stopped outside The Cutlass. The restuarant was constructed from wood pillars and had a grass roof, with simple yet comfortable furniture. The restuarant is completely build upon the beach. Granted, the exterior of the restuarant was not fancy or truly impressive, yet it was popular amongst tourists andocals alike due to its relaxing paradise atmosphere and the reputation of their quality food and drink.
Tim led the girls towards the entrance of the establishment, greeting the waitress waiting for new customers at the entrance. Tim spoke a few words with her, speaking in esperanto, and being replied to in the same tounge. All Port Emberians spoke both english and esperanto equally well, as it was both part of the school curriculum and both was recognised as the official languages of the Republic, yet esperanto was the prefered language at business establishments.
The waitress nodded and spoke to the girls "Good morning lassies, welcome to The Cutlass - please follow me.." Tim quickly added "Your in good hands.. I'll wait at the car. Goodluck!" Tim turned around and walked back towards his taxi.
The waitress led the girls to a table, where a young blonde girl was seated. On their approach, she stood up awaiting arrival. She wad quite a beautifull girl, with long bleach blonde hair and green eyes. She was wearing a modern straw hat, blue and black striped shirt with a very tight jean, rounded off with high heels.
As the girls arrived at the table, she closed in and gave them both a peck kiss on the cheek. "Name's Emily Hunter, its a pleasure to meet ya' lassies. Thank you for meeting me, and please take a seat." She gestured towards two chairs at the table. "Anything to drink? I'll have a Ember Coctail please?" Directed at the waitress who led the girls to the table.

Kiana & Caja with Emily Hunter
Emily smiled, looking intently at her two new table guests. She was quite pleased that both were young, around her age if she were to guess, and very attractive. She liked working with beautifull people, as she was quite a beautifull lass herself, and that removed the 'intimidation by beauty factor'. She then replied, her tone quite relaxed and calm, with a very slight sea brease playing with her bleach blonde hair.
"I can imagine. James is an.. interesting fellow. Woke me up at 4am to arrange this meeting. And to be quite frank.. this is not how I conduct business.. I normally arrange meetings two weeks in advance in order to properly research prospective partners. Therefore I am totally in the dark regarding your background and intentions.. But its allright.. a favour for a friend and such." Emily smiled again softly.
The waitress returned to the table and placed an expensive scottish whiskey on the rocks in front of Kiana, and an Emberian Coctail in front of Emily and Caja. The coctail was a masterfull mix of a local emberian spiced rum, strawberry juice and a few cherries. Topped off with a small umbrella offcourse. The waitress walked off again back to tend to her other clients in the restuarant, whom was not a lot to be honest.
"So.. business.. The rumours is indeed founded on truth. I am strongly in process of establishing the first gunshop chain in Port Ember, and to be honest - am nearly ready. I am establishing shops all accross the Islands, in all four cities. I have commissioned the construction or revamping of a total of 200 shops accross the Republic, and they are days from being completed. Hell I even hired the managers of the shops already.
My shops will sell arms, focussed on self defence and sports shooting. Each shop also has an underground firing range. Lastly we will also offer gunsmith services - repairs and modifications, and sell all sorts of equipment and mods. So thats my new venture in a short summary. I have managed to acquire the funding to build and fit all the shops, so I dont need a co-owner. What I do need, is a head office.. and a foreign weapon supplier.."
Emily took a long sip before continuing. "So time to spill your beans lassies?"
Grand Bazaar
Aurora Alce
The Grand Bazaar was a somewhat odd place. It resembled the free open air markets of the old world, yet it was amist one of the most technologically advanced citied in the world.
At the entrance of the Grand Bazaar stood a large statue of a women dressed in typical 1600 dress, clearly a pirate. The letters engraved underneath identified the women as Lilly Black.
A large map was painted on a board at the entrance, making navigating a bit easier, since the Bazaar was simply massive. Kilometers of kilometers in every direction was packed with stalls and vendors.
The board read as follows:
- The Quarters are numbered from left to right.
Quarter 1: Fresh Food Quarter. This quarter contains stalls who sells fresh raw food obtained from either local sources, or freshly imported. This includes fruits, vegetables, meats, fish and seafood to name only a few.
Quarter 2: Arts & Crafts Quarter. This quarter is dedicated to vendors selling all kinds of art and crafts, either locally produced or inported. This includes clothing of all kinds.
Quarter 3: Home Quarter. This quarter is dedicated to all household goods, including any furniture and household goods imaginable. This includes locally produced and inported goods.
Quarter 4: Technology Quarter. This quarter is dedicated to all technology goods, ranging from TV's to computers, drones and robots and much more.
Quarter 5: Represantatives Quarter. Includes sales reps from large businesses from all around the islands to market their companies.
Quarter 6: Tradesmen Quarter. Includes stalls of tradesmen who creates everything with their hands, from weapons to cars.
Quarter 7: Misc Quarter. Includes all stalls and vendors whom does not fit in the above categories.

Emily smiled when the girls reacted quickly and smoothly. She jumped them directly with the meat of the business talk on purpose - no one ever expected a meeting to go that way. The girls were not caught off guard, so they obviously knew their work. First test passed.
She took a sip from her coctail before replying calmly "Aye, thats good. There is definitely a market for larger hardware, but we will centralise that in the main shop and on demand for the rest of the shops."
She whipped out her computer tablet from her purse in a quick fashion, and plugged in the given USB. Right lovies, walk me through the goods?
The Cutlass
Sir William Southall
Sir William was quickly greeted by a young beautifull waitress with lomg brown hair and green eyes. To be frank, all the personnell of The Cutlass was quite young and attractive. The owner of The Cutlass knew a simple and ancient business secret - young beauty attracts customers. Simple as that.
The waitress quickly escorted the Gentleman to a table under roof, just opposite the table which seated Kiana, Caja and Emily. Sir William was handed a menu, and the waitress awaited his drink order patiently.
Grand Bazaar
Aurora Alce
The fresh food quarter contained literally thousands of stalls which sold fresh food. The most abundant was the local raw foods found abundantly on the islands: acerola cherry, avocado, banana, bitter orange, breadfruit, carambola (starfruit), chironja (orangelo—a combination of orange and pomelo), coconut, cucumber, frambuesa (raspberries), grapefruit, guanábana (soursop), guava, guineos niño (ladyfinger bananas), jobo (yellow mombin), key lime, lemon, lime, mamey (apple-like), quenepa (lychee-like), Mandarin orange, mango, nance (wild cherry), okra, orange, papaya, passion fruit, pineapple, pomarosa (tropical apple), pomegranate, sea grape, tamarind, tomato and watermelon. Other fruits and vegetables not found on the island naturally was also found, imported fresh on a daily basis. These food were well known for being cheap and of extremely fresh quality. The same went for the seafood, including any type one could imagine. One could easily spot world renowned chefs purchasing stock here for their restuarants.
The wine selection was a bit more.. sad. The local wine production has never been taken serious, and the imported wines was not of the highest quality - those was only imported directly by the reputable wine houses. There was still a massive variety available, but these were of everyday drinking quality, and not luxury wines.
Evan & Penny's Home
Evan & Penny
A black Reaver Black Diamond car pulled up in front of the house, and out stepped two men, dressed in shorts and flower shirts, packing pistols concealed underneath their shirts. The car they traveled in was indeed a luxury vehicle - yet was quite common around these parts. The men was secret service agents, dressed casually and traveling in an unmarked car, all in order to maintain the privacy of Penny and Evan. They were waiting to take the couple to the Embassy.
Upperdeck Hotel
Kevin Lee
A man dressed in a smart complete black suit entered the hotel restuarant and walked directly to the table where Kevin was seated, obviously knowing who he wanted to see. When the mysterious man arrived at the table, he took a seat at Kevin's table and gestured to the waiter to bring him a cup of cofee. He turned his attention to Kevin. "Good morning Mr Lee." The man removed his shades and smiled at Kevin.

The gorgeous young waitress swiftly brought her patron the ordered drinks - a pot of redbush tea, which the waitresses always laughed about in secret - tea was considered a drink of weaklings in Port Ember. A bottle of very luxurious white wine was also served. The young lassie awaited the Gentleman's food order.

Kiana & Caja with Emily
Emily smiled softly. She was impressed with the apparant skill level of the merchants.
"Okay, tell ye' what. I would like to see some of the weapons indeed. You pick three of your own desires. I would like to see the effeciency of your delivering system in action myself.
I'm to stock my shops with local firearms acquired from Hydra Industries as well, but if I choose your firearms, those would be my main stock.
Do you believe that your factories will be able to cope with the time effecient supply of 200 shops? I can not afford customers waiting for stock. Bad for business, plain and simple."
Grand Bazaar
Aurora Alce
The fruits which Aurora bought, both the oranges and the tropical fruit basket - was exrtremely fresh and tasty. Port Ember was well known for its quality tropical fruits, and it held a very large export market world wide. The wines she bought however was a slightly different story. The cheap bottle was nicknamed Sailor's Wine for a simple reason - it was cheap, quite wretchedly tasting, yet made the consumer drunk as a sailor with barely one glass. The more expensive wine was a lot better, nothing to actually complain about, yet was far from being considered a luxury wine.

The ferry fleet closing in on Port Ember was not surprise to the local authorities. The Port Ember Security Forces Navy has tracked its movement long before they entered the national waters of Port Ember. One could say what one wanted about the nation of Port Ember, but no one, not even their enemies would dare insult their navy. The navy was world leaders with regards to their vessels, intelligence, training, innovation and discipline.
Due to the size of the convoy, the navy decided not to board and search the vessels, but rather allow them to dock and then carry out the neccesary procedures. Their vessels was contacted via radio however, informing them where exactly to make for harbour - with a number of warships keeping a keen eye on the ferries.

Kevin Lee
The man in the suit's eyes shot wide open when he heard the safety switch of the pistol, which was followed with a broad smile before he spoke:
"I assure you Mr Lee - I am not a threat to your immediate life. By the way, I'm a weapon's fanatic myself. If I were forced to guess, that sounds like a CSP 21? I would know since I own one myself you know. Fine taste Mr Lee!" The man chuckled as he finished his sentence.
The waitress brought two cup of coffee's to the table, placing on in front of the suited man, and the other in front of Kevin.
The suited man reached for his inner jacket, and took something out of his inner jacket, and placed said something on the table in front of Kevin. It was a Secret Service Badge.
"Agent Carlston at your service."

The older man smiled. "Thanks, I like my jacket as well." He looked over to the rifle leaning against the wall, laughing softly yet politely. "Aye, Ye know that its almost only foreigners carrying rifles in public? Port Ember has not had a public violence incident in over 10 years.." the man switched his attention to the horizon and spoke again, yet more softly "aye, greatest darn city on the planet.."
