The official newspaper of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union

THE LAST TWENTY YEARS IN PERSPECTIVE

Since 1930 our country has seen tremendous changes under the leadership of Stalin, the Central Committee, and the Supreme Soviet. Our formerly agrarian country has been uplifted and transformed into an industrial country that can stand on equal footing with the German Empire. The Soviet Union has won back territory in the East and avoided war, and the Red Army today stands as one of the largest fighting forces on the planet, with the best equipped soldiers in the world. During the five year plans we enjoyed industrial growth just over eleven percent, and an average of nine percent growth every year from 1940 to today. The only industrial concerns in the world which can rival Soviet industry exist in the German Empire, and the days of German dominance over the world are numbered. In 1936 the Soviet Union introduced the most democratic constitution in the world, and Joseph Stalin forced the central committee to hand over power to the Supreme Soviet as well as legalize a multiparty system. Faced with the revisionism of certain members of the Central Committee and Trotskyist sympathizers within the layers of the Communist Party, Stalin announced a reduction of the Party’s role in society to that of any other political party as legalized by the 1936 constitution. Party purges began in 1940 following the rise of factionalists seeking to use the CPSU’s dominance over the Supreme Soviet to install themselves in positions of authority and protect their economic interests from Proleterian democracy. As every paper around the world reported, Nikita Khrushchev and his gang were shot in 1941 after a very public trial on their corruption, wrecking, and coup planning as revealed by the Kirov murder investigation of 1939. The growth of our country continued without those scoundrels. Leon Trotsky was implicated in the trial by letters discovered in the drawer of Zinoviev’s desk, and was assassinated that same year in Mexico. Today the Trotskyists only hold three percent of the Supreme Soviet, compared the CPSU’s eighty one percent. But at least they are happy to not be the white guardists, with only a half percentage point of the Supreme Soviet.

The famine of 1932 and the other bumps in the road we have hit such as the partisan conflict in the 1920s and the Baltic situation have not stopped the progress of socialism. The Soviet Union and the world currently stand at a crossroads in history today, as they did before the Great War. “Socialism or barbarism?” will be the question of our era.

Das Berliner
Twenty years of the Greater German Empire

Image
The convoy of cars containing the leaders passing through Brandenburg Gate

In Berlin today, a large parade and banquet took place, to commemorate twenty years since the proclamation of the Greater German Empire (Größeresdeutschesreich). The alliance, first formed for integrated economies, and open borders, was proclaimed between the German Empire, which included the newly joined Kingdom of Austria, Bohemia, Slovenia, and Poland, on January 15th, 1930, by the late Kaiser, Wilhelm III. Since then, it has grown to include Germany's colonial empire in Mittelafrika, Amerika, and China. The original alliance was formed for economic stability of the German Empire's neighboring allies during the Great Depression, and during the Germano-Soviet War of 1934, combined defense was added, and the Größeresdeutschesmilitar was formed, consisting of the Deutsches Heer, Deutsches Luftwaffe, Deutsches Kreigsmarine, the Polish Army, the Bohemian Army, and the Slovenian Army. The combined defense was focused on today, as members of the Greater German Defense Army Regiment, along with said armed forces of it's member states, paraded around the city. HIM, Kaiserin Victoria, received the leaders of Poland, Bohemia and Slovenia, as well as local kings, princes, dukes, and presidents, of the German Empire. The many leaders entered a convoy of Volkswagen cars, and observed various military drills around Berlin. King Otto von Habsburg of Austria, joined the Kaiserin in the leading car, as the monarchs of the two largest states in the empire, and as Austria celebrated 20 years of being in the German Empire only last month. This leaders are entirely in support of the Greater German Empire, and so it is clear, this alliance is to stay for another 20 years, and another 20 years after that.

Enlightening the people of the Straits with information

1st January, 1950
APA-50 Report by Johann Elsheimer

Today our nation's lower house, the Beliebteshaus has passed the Armed Forces Act 2950 (APA-50 for short). APA-50 will expand our nation's army to a far 'larger level's (I.e. at least 7,000 active personnel and 9,000 reserves) and replace our armed forces soon outdated military equipment (small arms etc.). Although APA-50 has major support in the BHaus, some are skeptical of APA-50 as they claim that it is unnecessary to expand our armed forces as they're has not been any major conflicts in our nation since the Tiger Uprising of 1950 and there are not any major powers in the area that have sour relations with the Straits.

THE SERBIAN CRISIS, THE GOVERNMENT'S, OR THE COMMUNIST’S FAULT?

It has become very apparent that Serbia is not as powerful as it used to be, and we can all see after Austria fell, the populace of Serbia has been suffering ever since. Not to mention with the recent Stock Market crash causing our economy put us in massive debt, there is obviously somebody at fault here, but who? People who’re communist say that the government is at fault, and that the king should abdicate his throne. They have also said that we would never of suffered from the, “Depression”, if the government took control of the market. However, others say that it was the communists that sabotaged the Austrian government, causing it to fall. The communists have called their opposition, “loyalists”, so we’ll be calling them loyalists for now. The loyalists have also stated that the King had nothing to do with the Depression, and that the crash of our market was caused by the communists messing up our market system, causing it to fail. Clearly, somebody has to be at fault, the real question is, is either side right, or are they both wrong, and we simply don’t see the real reason of what’s causing this crisis? Only time will tell folks, only time will tell...

To some it is remarkable how swift the current government was at taking down and opposing the Monarchy and it seems like there are still some Monarchist sympathizers in the fairly new nation.
We remind all citizens that the monarchy was incompetent and risked depraving people, As soon as they saw a threat heading their way they would show cowardice and let the citizens brave the storms.
Look how far we’ve come we have left the dark ages behind and now you wish to go running back to imperialism and serfdom and what ever primitive ideals that adopted from what ever tiny castle they came from, truly saddening; With the Hapsburg's still in power and the Empire still in place we would still call on the many surrounding nations to help fight battles for us as our predecessors had aren't you people not ashamed of them. Don’t you people have a sense of national pride don’t you love your own country to me it does not look like that to me. I implore you, the people to take heed and take pride in you're country and help each other because when our allies leave us it will only be us so it's better to get along now as opposed to later.

45th Independence Day Celebration in the Capital Golangrad

Image

Today in the former Russian city of Golangrad, Now The Capital of Mongolia, is a day to celebrate as it has been 45 years since we declared our independence from Russia which is now the USSR. Supreme Director Nikolai Kalinski has declared today as a national holiday insted of a local event. "Alot has Changed since 1905" Said the Supreme Director during his speach over the city loudspeakers "In 1906 we adopted socailism which has grealy benifited us. In 1912, the Remaining Conservitive Capitalist Pigs Revolted and Failed to Overthrow the Government. In 1920 we invaded China to get rid of the chinese occuption on our lands from the 18th century which was successful. In 1929 the Great Depression hit us hard but not as hard as he capitalists allowing us to recover." The Future of Mongolia looks bright as the government is beging to think of banning the isolation polocies which would open up trade, allainces, friends and even war. The carimonies are planned to end by January 5th with the cerimonial reanactment of the Battle of Golangrad during the war for independence and from there on out, who knows what will happen when the holiday comes back next year.

Ten years of Rex

It has now been more than 10 years since our Chancellor, Mr. Degrelle, has restored Belgium's former glory and managed to bring our King home. To celebrate this event, a military parade and a ceremony, to which the King of Italy is invited, shall take place in Bruxelles at the end of the month. Our beloved King Léopold will deliver a speech about the damage done by the German occupation and the imposed republic, the scars inflicted by anarchist terrorism, and the heroic initiative of the Rexist Party and our Chancellor, which saved our nation from degeneracy. He will then speak about the future of Belgium: the importance of reclaiming our rightful territory to secure our culture, the threat of jewish marxism in Russia, our alliance with Italy and the old hegemony of the Germans.

Tintin is back!

Hergé has announced the publication of a new volume of the adventures of Tintin, our favourite reporter. In this episode, named "Tintin in the Kremlin", he and Milou will return to the cold land of Russia and defend the people of the Tsar against their malevolent communist government.

Our arms factory grows bigger

The gunsmith guild of Liège, which was put in place in 1943 to help harmonise the production and distribution of weapons in Belgium, has been absorbed by the Fabrique Nationale. Indeed, the gendarmerie is afraid that decentralised civilian production of arms might help supply anarchist terrorists and put our safety in danger. To eliminate that problem, every member of the guild is now required to work at the Fabrique Nationale (which has been enlarged) and hand over their tools and equipment to the authorities.

King Vaisilos II Coroneted
January 3rd, 1950

After reigning over his Kingdom for 29 years, at the age of 72, King Vaisilos, called by many Damascians 'The Liberator,' has passed away two weeks ago. He leaves behind a legacy of liberation of the Syrian and Arab people from oppressive Ottoman rule, and a legacy of great economic progression and success. After much preparation and receiving a blessing from the Patriarch of Antioch himself just as his Father did, he was crowned as King of the Kingdom of Damascus. The new King served as a General in the Syrian Home Army during the insurrection and is accredited for defeating the Turks at the Battle of Antioch and is accredited for being particularly bold in his career, at times even directly fighting alongside his men and saying that 'There's no greater glory or honor than to fight alongside your men.'

A lot of his political views however contrast greatly from that of other Kings of non-European nations. At one point in 1927 openly accused the Capital market for exploiting the working people, advocating for Worker's Rights to be expanded upon in the Constitution and has avidly shown distrust towards monopolies in his country and saw their eventual break-up in 1934 to be a 'step in the right direction for a free Damascus.' On Social issues, however he maintains a very Conservative stance, stating that it is the Monarchy that ensures tradition and that his duty remains as a man whom represents Damascus, their people, and their culture, and had openly opposed certain socially progressive stances such as giving women the right to vote and decreasing taxes on Mosques.

His rule is already believed to be an interesting one. With major support from both the Christian Democrats and the National Social Democratic Party, of whom have held a majority since the early 1920s, it's believed that it will also be a very successful one, and will see much economic progression under his rule, and continued support for tradition.

Damascian military exercises to take place until the end of February!
January 8th, 1950

As of today, several units in the Damascian Army, Air-Force and Navy will conduct exercises in the Eastern Mediterranean, Antioch, Homs, and Beirut. The exercises will primarily cover tactical and operational levels of combat, including anti-submarine warfare, basic naval operations, blockades, aircraft formations, utilization of static and mobile defenses, usage of new firearms and the sort. We have invited the Italians to join in on the exercises, but they have yet to respond. Until they do, most military exercises will remain almost solely in the air and on the ground.

Worker's Rights to be added to the Constitution?
January 7th, 1950
A mere four days after the King's coronation, he is already making progress on his economic policies. Today, he has proposed adding worker's rights to the Constitution of Damascus. To quote his statement he made today, he has stated that 'The Capital market naturally exploits workers and exploits itself. In order to contain itself and maintain a better sense of economic progression, and for that matter progression of society, it needs to be limited and the working people requires fair wages, working hours and terms secured.' Many Labor Unions and small business owners have openly supported this kind of rhetoric, pointing to how the monopoly laws do not protect them sufficiently and how they still work 12 hours and for low and unfair wages, with only one day off. Many National Social Democrats, Social Democrats, and Christian Democrats openly support him. Currently the terms of this added part of the Constitution is being discussed. Thus far they've agreed to 8 hours, receiving an additional day off, and are discussing how wages will be decided. One side supports the idea of negotiating fair wages between Capital and Labor, the other supports the idea of having a Federal minimum wage that bases itself off of inflation and standards of living. Other things are being discussed as well, such as Worker medical coverage and the stance on Worker Cooperatives.

Dawn of the Comintern

Representatives signing and debating the framework of the alliance at the capital of the USSR

Supreme Director Nikolai Kaliski announced today he has reached out to our socialist workers around the world to form a new allaince. The Communist International or Comintern is intended to make a co-operative political and military Allaince to defend socialist nations and/or the socialist parties in the nations they are in. "This Allaince shall change the face of the far left" said Nikolai Kalinski at the signing of the of Allaince he also stated this allaince will also stall the growth of capitalism and bring the global workers together and the corrupt business man on their knees. Who knows were this allaince will go based on Nikolai's ideas but we predict it will stand the test of time.

Blood with the Lone Star

”It takes many good deeds to build a good reputation, and only one bad one to lose it.” - Benjamin Franklin

January 11th, 1950 - The Lone Star, or Texas, was the only State of the former United States to break away and not form a succeeding political union. Texas, with assistance from the Federal States, stood against aggression posed by Mexico in the beginning years of sovereignty. This opened up cordial diplomacy between the Federal States and Texas. However, relations have taken a massive hit in recent years. Texas Rangers and troops of the Federal Guard exchanged fire early Tuesday morning along the F.S.-Texas border in southern Colorado.

Apparently, both parties had believed each other to be incurring on their sovereignty. It is unclear who opened fire first, but at the end of the firefight four Western Americans lay dead. Further violence was halted when F.S. fighter-bombers responded, but the damage was done. Representatives from the F.S. and Texas Governments are slated to convene over this border skirmish later this week, with luck some type of diplomatic conclusion can come from this bloodshed.

Das Berliner
the Anti Comintern Pact

Image

A few days ago, Chancellor Adenauer called an emergency summit of European nations to discuss the formation of the Comintern. The result was, the Anti Comintern Pact, which includes sanctions upon the Comintern's members, general condemnation, and temporary precautions against the spread of Bolshevism to signatory nations. Nations signing the pact include Belgium and Bulgaria, and most other, anti Communist nations in Europe. Chancellor Adenauer has said that this is only a temporary measure, and a more permanent alliance is currently in the making between mainly, signatories of the Pact, but also other anti communist nations around the world, not just limited to Europe.

The next day, Chancellor Adenauer made a statement on behalf of the German government, the announced that the world's first Wunderwaffen (Atomic Bomb) test is scheduled in two months, in April 1950. The test will have the bomb detonate somewhere in the Arctic Circle. The Chancellor confirmed that Germany has had the ability to test the weapon for over two years now, but will be tested for the first time now, to scare the Soviets and it's allies, and to push towards reversing the formation of the Comintern, and eventually the collapse of the whole ideology of Bolshevism, which is greatest threat in the history of this earth. For the end of Communism, Germany does stand!

Enlightening the people of the Straits with information

4th February, 1950
Anti-Comintern Pact Report by Johann Elsheimer

Today our Chancellor, Alfred Shang has travelled to the gargantuan city of Berlin on the behalf of the Straits in order for us to join the Anti-Comintern Pact, a deterrent against communism and the Comintern in the making. Also, in the bordering nations of Vietnam, Laos and Kampuchea, small communist movements in these countries may possibly have ties with the Communist International, giving more justification for joining the ACP.

"Me and my fellow Shangpartei agree that it is necessary to join the ACP as there are communist movements which are possibly Comintern-assocoated which in theory could start an communist insurgency in South East Asia".
Short quote from Sir Alfred Shang himself.

Assassination attempt on King Peter the 1st!

Five days ago, an attempt on King Peter's life was made. Thankfully, no harm came to the King, and the assassin was caught and has been brought into custody. Due to the political situation right now, the Loyalists have quickly put the blame on the Communists, causing civil tension to only increase. The assassin's identity has not yet been revealed, however he has been confirmed to be a communist sympathizer. The communist party, as expected, have denied all ties to the assassin. The loyalist party has begun using this as another reason why the communists can not be trusted. If it's true that the communist party was behind this, then there would be no doubt that they cannot be trusted, and that the leader of the party and higher ranked members should be taken into custody. However, with this incident being so recent, and the government refusing to give out information until the issue is looked into further, we can only wait and see.

THERE ARE MANY PARTISANS

Image
The military situation in the Baltic States. The Soviet Union is colored red, areas under de-facto control by Baltic revolutionaries are colored a lighter red, areas with heavy partisan activities are colored the lightest red. Germany and allies are shades of grey.

It is no secret in Berlin or Moscow that the Red Army operates supply trains to the Baltic Revolutionaries and provides most of their military equipment, tanks, and aircraft. It is also no secret that in recent years since the publication of the German "Atom Bomb" program that Red Army aid to the Baltic Revolutionaries has accelerated significantly, or that Yakolev fighters used by the Baltic Revolutionaries frequently re-fuel and re-arm at airbases operated by the Red Air Force. The war in the Baltics has been on and off at various intensities since the 1929 Brest-Livostok Renegotiation, but is at its highest intensity in decades today. The People's Army of Estonia has recently begun an offensive aimed at capturing Tallinn and securing the south of Estonia. T-44 tanks, believed to be former Red Army tanks replaced by the T-54, have been seen participating in the offensive operation operated by Baltic Communists. Yakolev 3 and 3P fighter aircraft, modernized Pe-8 variants, and IL-2 ground attack aircraft have been seen participating in the offensive. The two other major Baltic Communist groups, the Latvian People's Army and the People's Army of Lithuania are also participating in simultaneous offensives, with Latvian Communists aiming to cut off supplies to the German puppet government in Lithuania by advancing from Riga and Ukmerge to Taurage. Torpedo boats based out of Riga and Kohtla-Jarve have been seen flying red flags and attacking German and Baltic puppet government shipping and warships in hit and run raids.

TINTIN IN THE GULAG

The recent republication of “Tintin in the Kremlin” in Belgium has seen quite a reaction from Soviet fans of the older Tintin series. The Soviet Literature Association denounced the new publication as a “propaganda work” and a “corruption of what literature is supposed to be”. The Supreme Soviet narrowly rejected a bill to censor Tintin’s new issue on the grounds of spreading a “falsified history” of socialism. The new Tintin issue will only be available in certain libraries and book stores due to many workers refusing to stock it and Soviet readers boycotting the product and its publisher.

The Unholy Alliance-Pro-Capital movements and Turks Refuse to Recognize King Vaisilos II based on his economic standings and religious legitimacy!
January 14th, 1950

King Vaisilos is a King that has done something absolutely nobody could predict. He openly supports Worker's Rights, and he wishes to bring Worker's Rights into the constitution, and has listed a long list of other economic reforms he wishes to make for the sake of making life better for the average, working class individual. This is something that the National Social Democratic Party has actively pushed for through reform, however had limited success that lacks Federal Teeth to back it, and is a law that can be merely interpreted differently or can be repealed. Vaisilos II wants to make these laws defined and constitutional. Pro-Capital movements openly stand against these reforms, and with support from the Conservative Party and the Liberal Party, began protesting out in the streets of several major cities. With them, and with support of the Turkish populace, protests his legitimacy. The beef many Turks claim to have with King Vaisilos is that he is "Not a legitimate king" and was "legitimized by a religious institution that they do not follow themselves." This is of course, despite the fact that Orthodox Christianity sits as the majority religion, exceeding 55% of the populace, let alone the fact that 77% of the populace (still counting the 55% whom are Orthodox Christian) which subscribes to a multitude of branches of Christianity, most notably the Catholic Church and the Nestorian Church. What all this will mean for Vaisilos II is yet to be seen.

The King's Movement Forms, defends Vaisilos from Turkish-Pro Capital Opposition!
January 17th, 1950
As of recently, our King Vaisilos has come under attack by an unholy alliance of Turkish residents and pro-Capital movements. They protest against his legitimacy as a king due to his alignment to the Orthodox Christian faith, and they question his recent plan to make Worker's Rights a constitutional right. For days, the Turks and the Pro-Capital movements, backed by the Liberal Party and the Conservative Party have protested in the streets unopposed except for by police that have been observing the situation and preventing it from turning into a riot or getting out of hand.

Now, the Political Opposition to Vaisilos finds itself an opponent. The King Movement.

The King Movement is comprised of various small business leaders, Social Democrats, Monarchists, Orthodox Christians, and Labor Unions. They are backed by the Orthodox Church itself, the National Social Democratic Party, the Communist Party, the Social Democratic Party, the Christian Democrat Party, and by a variety of related movements. They argue that the King is a legitimate king, whom is a descendant of Vaisilos the Liberator, thus making him a legitimate King and that transcends the religious Divine Right portion, and that Divine Right still applies anyways, for it isn't Vaisilos' fault that "a bunch of heretics from a foreign land cannot accept the fact that the Christian faith is indeed the only legitimate and correct religion," as one Christian Democrat puts it. The Nestorian Church and the Local Catholic Church has proceeded to recognize Vaisilos' legitimate claim to the throne as well.

With each passing day, the situation gets increasingly hectic, however as of now it appears to be leaning in our King's favor.

Europe in Flames

”Experience is the teacher of all things.” - Julius Caesar

February 6th, 1950 - The Federal Assembly held an emergency session late on the 5th regarding the escalation of conflict in the Baltics. Although there are no Western Americans in the Baltics, the conflict there is poised to shake up the international order. The various kingdoms and duchies established after the Great War by the German Empire have come under siege by pro-Soviet partisans. It is no secret that these partisan groups hold a substantial relationship with Moscow. The appearance of Soviet military equipment obviously declares their backer and allows these groups to fight the pro-German defense forces upfront. The German Empire is seems to be reeling from the sudden assault as their armed service have yet to respond.

President Strehlow was present at the emergency convention and assured members of Federal Assembly that him and his cabinet had already held their respective emergency councils and had began to work towards a contingency. It is unlikely that any measure to become involved in the conflict will come about, the Americans as a whole have learned their lesson about intervention abroad. However, in a increasingly integrated world everything affects everyone. A war in the Baltics where the German Empire and Soviets are pitted against each other would be just as destructive as the Great War, or worse. Jeb Bun, a previous national security advisor for the President Elder Administration, predicated that this could be the beginning of the end for the German Empire as there is no rapid response. One would expect the Germans to retaliate instantaneous, the lack thereof points to confusion for the Germans government and military. The world awaits for the German response.

Das Berliner
Negotiations offered with the Soviets

Image

In the Baltic States, a neighbor to Germany, conflict has broken out, as communist revolutionaries supported by the Soviet Union, have advanced and taken more territory, including the Latvian capital, Riga. They claim this is a response to the German Empire announcing a test of it's first atom bomb. Of course, that before was a response to the formation of the Comintern. German troops are steadily waiting for an order from Berlin in Ostpreussen, on the border with Lithuania. A war with the Soviets now would undoubtedly result off worse than both the Great War and the Germano Soviet War. Therefore, to avoid an escalation, the German government have invited both the Soviets and the Baltic Revolutionaries to negotiations on neutral territory, in Stockholm, Sweden. The Imperial Government looks in the interest of peace, and hopes these negotiations prevent a conflict.

The official newspaper of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union

GERMANS SUE FOR PEACE IN BALTICS

German Chancellor Adenauer has announced his intention to seek peace with the USSR in the Baltics, an unexpected offer that took the Soviet government and perhaps parts of Adenauer’s own government by surprise. The Presidium of the Supreme Soviet has chosen to accept the Soviet offer with the support of Premier Joseph Stalin. The Riga offensive in the Baltics is still ongoing, however the Soviet government has left open the possibility for a cease-fire to be agreed upon in Stockholm if the Swedish government agrees to host the talks and a mutually beneficial arrangement can be worked out. TASS published a segment on its nationwide news program regarding the possiblity for peace, including interviews with deputies of the Supreme Soviet. Their responses, while varied, point to two main currents within the Soviet Government on the issue. The first is that the German offer is a delaying tactic designed to stop an offensive they are unprepared for and cannot defeat. The second is that the offer is genuine, but would be a demand for the USSR to withdraw military aid and allow the German Army to destroy the Baltic Communists, essentially demanding Soviet surrender in the Baltics. Proponents of both sides maintained their willingness to at least meet the Germans though. The Soviet ambassador to Germany delivered a note to Adenauer on the USSR’s position soon after the decision was made in Moscow, which according to Premier Stalin expressed the possiblity that he would meet Adenauer personally if he were to come to Stockholm.

Communist agression in the Baltics

Ever since the establishment of the Soviet Union, the Bolsheviks have tried to expand westwards, mainly by financing partisans of their degenerate ideology in neighbouring countries. The already precarious situation has now slipped into open armed conflict, as communist insurrectionary movements fight the rightful governments of the Baltic states. The violent revolutionaries are, of course, being assisted by the Soviets, and seem to have the upper hand. Germany, instead of fighting back, has offered peace negotiations in Stockholm. Mr. Degrelle is critical of such a weak diplomatic response, but he thinks Germany is the free world's best hope. He has sent a telegram to his german counterpart, Mr. Adenauer, in which he reaffirmed that Belgium is willing to put old feuds aside and will stand with Germany against the red threat, and that in case the situation doesn't settle down, our military would be honoured to fight the Soviets alongside theirs.

Regain in terrorist activities

Probably because of the communist unrest in the Baltics, marxist movements have resurfaced in our motherland, under the face of Hem Day and the United Left. This man of unknown identity used to lead the Amicable Union of Anarchists (the despicable criminals behind the Black Wave) and was thought to have been killed in the destruction by bombardment of their headquarters. He has started to distribute a clandestine newspaper in which he claims to have federated the remains of the AUA and of the Belgian Workers' Party with the goal of resisting and overthrowing the government of our heroic Chancellor and our beloved King. If you are in possession of said newspaper or if you know about their distribution or provenance, you are ordered by the Gendarmerie to turn yourself in to your local police station and answer to all questions asked.

Gerasimov Echoes Support For Germany in Baltic Conflict

With the conflict in the Baltic states growing to a larger-scale conflict than anticipated, nations are choosing sides and supporting their allies. Bulgaria is no different, and in a special news conference Prime Minister Petar Gerasimov voiced his support for Germany.
"Recently, the Soviet Union has made aggressive advances into the Baltic states," Gerasimov said, "bringing with them a spectre of Communism and disrupting many civilians' natural lives." Gerasimov went on to condemn the Soviet Union's armament of revolutionaries and urged all parties involved in the issue to remain calm and level-headed, noting that the situation is still quite young in nature.

This is no surprise considering the country's recent signing of the Anti-Comnitern Pact. The pact levies sanctions against the members of the Comnitern (presently only Mongolia and the Soviet Union), condemns communism as a whole, and includes temporary measures to stop the spread of communism in Europe. German Chancellor Adenauer, who spearheaded the whole effort, was careful to note that the alliance was only temporary and would be followed by a more permanent alliance.

Finalization of the Ambiorix Line

The Ambiorix Line, a series of fortifications along the german border, was started under the de Broqueville administration in 1937. Although our relationship with the Kaiserreich have improved since then, Mr. Degrelle decided to continue the project to protect our motherland, and the construction is now complete. This line of forts is now an impenetrable barrier securing our eastern frontier, and will remain so for years to come.

Stalin censures belgian media

Obviously, the oppressive bolshevik government of Russia doesn't have the courage to let its population read our truthful testimony of the atrocities they commited. They have restricted the diffusion of Hergé's work, proving again their ideological blindness and their defiance towards true european culture.

Bishop qualifies television as "devilish invention"

Louis-Joseph Kerkhofs, bishop of Liège, has declared in an interview with one of our reporters that television is a Jewish plot to indoctrinate our youth and spread marxist ideas. Neither Mr. Degrelle or Mr. Van Roey, the archbishop of Malines, have reacted to this statement, but many citizens across the country have already destroyed their television, in fear of letting communist propaganda into their homes.

A Privát

A Hungary Divided

Bringing information to the people of Hungary / Információk a magyarországi néphez / Sprístupnenie informácií ľudu Maďarská / Aducerea de informații poporului Ungariei

Szekeres Adrián, HP0AC Privet Drive, Budapest
In recent months the Red army ( Soviet Union ) has been advancing further into the Baltic states and financing heavy partisans in the region
and with all of this going on it seems that it’s nations pick and choose whose side to be on. But with little clarification from any sort of
authority the population has begun to wonder "why should Hungary be any different." It is true that Hungary has always been historically and culturally more aligned with Germany as opposed to Russia yet with the Regime in power it seems we have gotten more closer then ever before in hindsight. After all we both scrapped the monarchy along with other likenesses such as Hungary being a socialist democracy pushing us in the similar direction as the Soviets, but we are by no means allies and have a long way before any sort of relationship develops. With communism spilling into mainstream politics and mass rallies, protest pushing for a more centralized government and riots becoming another subject of a typical daily life it seems choosing either side could lead to a very broken state ; picture this. Hungary has a large communist sympathizer population with many who have links to high ranking officials and taking further action could risk a small ceasefire at the best, or a large scale conflict at the worst, adding salt to the wound. There is the possibility however of remaining neutral and it's an idea that's been thrown around many times but it's never been debated seriously." It's worked well for some why can't it be the same for us." some say. But the politicians have had other ideas, squabbling, constant back and forth arguments have made it near impossible to reach an outcome. Reports of name calling, scandals, and crude jokes went public. Issues that have no place being in the Szenátus buildings, holding our politicians to a much lower standard than before. As for outside the country ; things don't seem to be going well, a small invitation has been planned in Stockholm, Sweden as the Germans try negotiating with the Soviets and Baltic Revolutionaries for some sort of closure. The war in the Baltic's has been on and off for while with no conclusion but the conflict has grown largely and increased activity in the region substantially more manpower deployed ( just in case ), on both sides than before. Even more so after the German's went public with the "Atom Bomb" program the situation rather balanced. There is no surprise considering the country's recent signing of the Anti-Comintern Pact. Hungary has signed but has not taken too much public interest, in the sanctions against Comintern members or the subject on a broader spectrum in fear of how it might effect the balance of power in Hungary and the like of things. Presently it looks like the certainty of this country is unclear. So all we can do is hope and pray people, hope and pray.

Industrial Boom

Drawing of a Aircraft Factory in Lower Mongolia

Industrialization within Inner Mongolia is beginning to skyrocket after deposits of coal, iron and uranium was found. The Secretary of the Treasury Department expects by 1953 we will have 27% growth in industry, It wont he enough to beat the superpowers but it is deffinently a large boom. The coal has been planned to be used for power plants, Iron for Infrastructure, Tanks, Firearms and Artillery. The Uranium on the other hand is new to our economy. The Government shall reside what should we do with this abundance of uranium? Sell it to our Allies, Sell it to all, Keep it for ourselves or leave it alone. Who knows! But latest we all can see a future in industry for all of us.

Civil war on the rise?

With the recent assassination attempt on King Peter, tensions have skyrocketed between the Loyalists and the Communists. With all these tensions, many believe a civil war is likely, causing those who tried to be neutral being forced to choose sides. With the Loyalists still being the most popular party, it's believed that they have a slightly higher chance of winning, but with people finally choosing sides, this may change. Communist and Loyalist Militias have begun forming, and while they haven't begun shooting each other yet, this has confirmed the fact that a civil war is going to happen. With this dark news, I wish those who're reading this in their homes, the best of luck. May god save us all.
