This was the raw footage that people recorded as protestors stood up and attempted to attack Michael Knowles at UMKC. Knowles later came on FOX News to talk about what happened.
New York Post wrote:A conservative speaker was attacked by a left-wing protester at a Missouri college campus Thursday for proclaiming that “Men Are Not Women.”
Columnist Michael Knowles, who had been invited to speak by the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s College Republicans, was doused in a glitter-filled liquid after being repeatedly interrupted by shouting protesters for questioning transgenderism.
Student Gerard Dabu was tackled by police and subdued with a stun gun after he used a water pistol to spray Knowles with what turned out to be lavender oil, The Hill reported.
Dabu has been charged with assault.

So he was shot by a water gun filled with lavender oil, according to Knowles, it was chosen to look and smell like bleach. His speech was constantly interrupted as well, before the attack happened. The speech was about how men and women are fundamentally different, but should be treated equally. Protestors claimed his views were bigoted.
So NSG, what is you opinion on the incident?
I think this is absolutely ridiculous. If you’re not ready to have a civil discussion and have an open mind, why even bother attending the speech? Keep in mind most of these people are the same people that call themselves “anti-fascist”, ironic isn’t it? Anyways, while the attack itself was harmless lavender oil, the students constantly interrupting him and screaming really shows how close minded and violent these “anti-fascists” can get.
