Same-sex unions are neither legal nor do we recognise same-sex unions performed outside of our jurisdiction.
If no, why not?
Same-sex intercourse is considered zināʾ (زِنَاء) and is therefore forbidden as per most interpretations of the following hadith:
    • It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "The Prophet said: "... cursed is the one who does the action of the people of Lot."
    • Ahmad narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet of Allah said: "May Allah curse the one who does the action of the people of Lot, may Allah curse the one who does the action of the people of Lot," three times.
    • It was narrated that Jabir: "The Prophet said: 'There is nothing I fear for my followers more than the deed of the people of Lot.'"
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal?
    No.
What percentage of your population is homosexual?
No official statistics are kept, but if we are anything like the rest of the world, somewhere between 3 and 4%.
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal?
Absolutely. The laws of Elam are based on the Jaʿfari school of Islamic jurisprudence.
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people?
    No.
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people?
    Yes.
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people?
    Yes.
Are LGBT people allowed to adopt?
    No.

It is considered completely normal to have relationships with other people of both the same and different sexes - on Jaiana, "homosexuality" and "heterosexuality" are both completely unheard of. Marriage is also a strange concept to us, implying a level of exclusivity in a relationship which we simply can't relate to

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet?
Same-sex marriage has been legalized the Luzon and Visayas regions of the country, although the policy currently awaits approval in the Mindanao region.

If no, why not?
Most of the autonomous Muslim territories (Bangsamoro and Sabah) continue to hold on Islamic law, including the probihition of same-sex marriage. However, there are a few events of such marriages that have already happened in the aforementioned places, with two of such reported
cases being of Muslim relationships.

Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal?
By law, there are no regions in the Philippines where same-sex marriage has been officially made illegal, although parts of Sabah and Bangsamoro do prohibit this form of marriages under their local Sharia.

What percentage of your population is homosexual? Estimates put the LGBTQ community to comprise 10.3% of the resident population.

Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal?
Neither have heavily influenced the Interregnum government's change of policy on marriage, but the anarchic belief of unhindered freedom of expression to be guaranteed.

Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people?
No, as stated by Article II of the 2008 CONSTITUTION.

Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people?
Only a minor percentage of jobs/occupations may be deemed unfit for LGBTQ people if the employer of such job do see fit to reject.

Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? No.

Are LGBT people allowed to adopt? Yes.

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet? Gay marriage is legal and socially tolerated due to our religious nature of being tolerant of social differences in this cosmic pluralistic world.
If no, why not?
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal? No, there is none.
What percentage of your population is homosexual? Around 20% as some asexual sub-species can reproduce by their own such as using binary fission. Eliminating the need to have sex with the opposite gender and reducing stigma as it is an inherent quality.
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal? Omnianism simply doesn't care how you reproduce and only wishes that you keep a low-profile with your sexual life. Adultery is more important in the Talbur (Omnianist Torah).
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? No, discrimination is not allowed.
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? No, discrimination is not allowed.
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? No, discrimination is not allowed.
Are LGBT people allowed to adopt? Yes. They must undergo a social test to see if they're worthy to become that child's parent.

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet? Gay marriage is not seen as a matter of substantial importance to Grand Emperor Volduvius, nor has it been seen as important to any Grand Emperor of centuries past. For this reason, it is as legal as heterosexual marriage is.
If no, why not? N/A
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal? Provinces of the Grand Imperial Regime of Nantuvia are not permitted to pass provincial legislation. So basically, "no," would be the short answer.
What percentage of your population is homosexual? Not quantified, it is just known to be fairly common since most citizens don't care or have any prejudice against homosexuals
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal? No
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? Grand Emperor Kalvinicus Nestor passed legislation in 1952 that all educational institutions, public or private, are allowed with written approval from the superintendent of the provincial county to reject any student on any basis. That does make discrimination based on sexual orientation legal, but it is almost impossible because no current appointed superintendent would give approval for discrimination based on sexual orientation (This is based on a poll taken on January 1, 2019 where all superintendents in Nantuvia unanimously voted that they would not give written approval for a student to be rejected based on sexual orientation. There have been no new superintendents appointed to any provincial county since this date.).
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? Legislation on this is pretty much the same as how it is for educational institutions, as employers also have a superintendent for each county (separate from the educational superintendents). That legislation was also passed by Grand Emperor Kalvinicus Nestor in 1952.
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? There is no legislation preventing this, but this doesn't happen on any regular basis.
Are LGBT people allowed to adopt? The practice of adoption was abolished by Grand Emperor John Klavicus in 1873. All children put up for adoption were given to an official of the Child Care Government Sector. There are approximately 36,000 of these officials and it is unknown if any of them are LGBT.

Policies regarding the LGB community in the UK

Postby The Brytish Isles » Sun Apr 21, 2019 1:17 pm

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet? Homosexual, bisexual and asexual marriage is all legal. However, Catholic churches are allowed to refuse to wed non-heterosexual individuals, as are Anglican churches, though refusal by the latter is much rarer.
If so, why not? N/A
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal? No, but some denominations and religions are allowed to refuse to wed non-heterosexual individuals if it goes against the beliefs of that denomination or religion.
What percentage of your population is homosexual? Roughly 6-7% of the UK population is homosexual.
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal? Partially. Secular and non-theistic believe have influenced the legalisation of non-heterosexual marriage.
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? No, they are not.
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? No, they are not.
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? No, they are not.
Are LGBT people allowed to adopt? Yes, they are — however, transgender individuals are not as of this point in time.

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet?
Yes, of course! According to the Czechoslovak People's Constitution and the "Elimination of Discrimination Act", no one living in the country is to be discriminated against or persecuted based solely on one's gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, political leanings, or their religious beliefs (As long as they do not attempt to force it into government policy), and same-sex marriage is considered as a basic human right guaranteed by law.
If no, why not?
N/A, same-sex marriage is allowed per above reply, so this question is redundant.
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal?
No, and any province or region that attempts to ban gay marriage or restrict the rights of minorities will suffer harsh penalties, including the recalling of it's mayor/governor/member of parliament.
What percentage of your population is homosexual?
About 15% of the population is part of the LGBT community, and from within it, about 65% are homosexual (Lesbians included), another 25% are bisexual or pansexual, and the remaining 15% are transgender, which together comprise the 15% of Czechoslovakia and Zakarpattia that are part of the LGBT community, with the rest being heterosexual.
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal?
Since our country is de-facto a dominant-party state ruled by a coalition of democratic socialists and revisionist marxists since the mid 1990s onwards, state secularism is a key part of government policy, and that means sweeping away the last remaining restrictions on the right to marry someone you truly love, as the vast majority of restrictions and prejudice against LGBTQIA people are caused by religiously-motivated reasons.
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people?
No, and this is illegal per the "Elimination of Discrimination" Act passed in 2001, which explicitly prohibits denying someone education, provision of goods and services, employment, healthcare, or the right to serve in the military/pioneers (The socialist version of the Boy Scouts) on the basis of one's race, biological sex and gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, language, political affiliation, or religious beliefs.
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people?
No, and this is illegal per the "Elimination of Discrimination" Act as described above.
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people?
No, and this is illegal per above reasons.
Are LGBT people allowed to adopt?
Yes, every citizen of Czechoslovakia and Zakarpattia is allowed to freely adopt a child, regardless of whether one is in a homosexual, heterosexual, or no relationship at all.

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet?
Same-sex marriage was legalized in all states plus the District of Pacifica by a Supreme Court order in 2015. Prior to that, the question was left up to the states, with Marsh Islands becoming the first state to legalize in 1999. Most states had followed suit by the 2015 ruling.

If no, why not? N/A

Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal?
Some Xtapolopaqetl dioceses refuse to marry same-sex couples. Although the same is obviously true among religions/sects within the country, Xtaps are an indigenous people, and their religious/tribal unions are given special status under Kennyite law. Couples denied marriage rites are allowed to participate in civil ceremonies, and special protections against retaliation by family members and/or their accomplices were placed into federal law in 2015.

What percentage of your population is homosexual? Less than 5%

Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal?
No. Religious groups regularly lobbied either against or in favor of same-sex marriage when it was still being debated -- along with secular groups -- but the question of legalizing same-sex marriage was always about civil law, not private religious practices.

Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? No

Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? No

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet? It is left up to the various cities and towns, as well as the council of the Sevii Islands, to decide on the issue, as the Indigo Plateau (the governing body of the Kanto Region) has not officially passed legislation for same-sex marriage.
Most cities and towns have legalized it, with only Vermillion City and Fuchsia City remaining particularly strict on the matter, though it isn't illegal in those cities either.
The Governing Council of the Sevii Islands have passed legislation legalizing it throughout the islands. It should be noted that Fuchsia City is more open to the idea ever since since Janine became the Gym Leader, as Koga was apparently strict in this area.

If no, why not? N/A

Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal? No

What percentage of your population is homosexual? It's around 5% of the population.

Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal? No

Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? There are certain religious schools that do this, but otherwise no.

Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? No, though this isn't an issue as people usually hire based on whatever Pokémon you use or how much experience you have.

Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? Restaurants don't actually care on the issue, so they feel no need to refuse LGBT people.

Are LGBT people allowed to adopt? Yes

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet? There is currently no recognition for same-sex couples in the Kingdom of Kesarsey.
If no, why not? The Marriage Act 1651 recognises only heterosexual marriages performed by a Nicene Christian Church, and sui juris marriages at common law are only recognised between heterosexual couples.
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal? All of them.
What percentage of your population is homosexual? No official data; estimated to be <2%
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal? Kesarsey's Christian beliefs are the most commonly-cited reason.
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? Privately run schools may do so, publicly-funded schools may not technically turn away an 'openly gay' person (though encountering such a person in Kesarsey is rare). Homosexual misconduct may be grounds for expulsion from a Kesarseian university.
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? Yes.
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? Yes.
Are LGBT people allowed to adopt? Not couples. There is technically nothing stopping a single LGBT person from applying for adoption, but even here married heterosexuals are prioritised over unmarried heterosexuals and homosexuals.

N.B. Sodomy and gross indecency are criminal offences in Kesarsey, each punishable with a prison term of variable length.

Currently, gay marriage is not legal anywhere in the Republic of Safardia.

If no, why not?

The population has a largely Jewish and Christian background which does not tolerate such things.

Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal?

All of them.

What percentage of your population is homosexual?

The government does not include do research on the numbers of homosexuals ('homosexuality' is emitted from official data collections as there is some social/political bias towards favouring lesbians and female bisexuals over gay men and male bisexuals) however estimates place the percentage of the population that is homosexual between 1% (more conservative organisations) and 5% (more liberal organisations).

Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal?

Yes.

Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people?

No.

Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people?

Yes, such as the military and police force.

Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people?

Case by case basis.

Are LGBT people allowed to adopt?

Sefardian law only bars transgender people from adopting. In the past, all LGBT's have been banned from adopting however in 1980 the Supreme Court lifted the ban on female bisexuals adopting children, which was then followed on in 1982 when the Supreme Court lifted the ban on lesbians adopting children. The battle to lift the ban on gays and male bisexuals adopting children is fiercely debated. Various administrations have forced through amendments to the law which have either banned or unbanned gays and male bisexuals from adopting children, with the most recent law being passed a decade ago in 2009, banning them from adopting again. In 2015 the Supreme Court declared the ban unconstitutional, de-facto allowing all LGBT's to adopt children, however the Supreme Court also declared that adoption services would be allowed to factor in sexual orientation when deciding on adoption cases.
