Perhaps TRH Prime Minister could express his view on the matter, or at least consult his cabinet. This is now two cabinet ministers who are calling for a vote and I would like to see this issue quickly resolved. It has now been thirteen days since the announcement of possibly appointing an ambassador to Iran and this is not the efficient House of Commons I promised during the election.

It is my intention to release a joint statement with the President of Iran tomorrow. This will outline an agreement which will work in conjunction with the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation which is already in force.

Our first Chief Justice is no more and in his absence we do not have anyone to head the judicial branch of our government. This is one of the most important offices within the Empire. Responsible for upholding the law and the Consitutiton of our great region. It is vital that this position does not remain vacant for long and that a capable citizen is appointed to the bench to oversee our judiciary system.

Therefore, on behalf of the Government, I hereby nominate The Founding Father as the next Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. The original author of our Consitution and of the only amendment ever made to that document, The Founding Father is one of the most experienced and capable nations within our Empire. He has agreed to serve and is committed to upholding and promoting the Consitutiton of the Empire of Great Britain.

I ask the House to debate and hold a vote on this nomination at their earliest convenience. I invite other Members to share their thoughts.

Mr. Speaker, I rise today to pay tribute to a longtime member of our community, Shackley, who ceased to exist several days ago.

Shackley had a long career as RP and Games Secretary under the governments of Regal Windsor and Colfax County, during which he coordinated N-Day and Z-Day activities and much more. He set an example of active citizenship and roleplay that all nations of the Empire of Great Britain should follow.

Mr. Speaker and Right Honourable Members,

I humbly introduce a new motion before the House to extend the terms of the serving Speaker of the House and Prime Minister until the end of the Spring Session on Saturday 1st June 2019.

Elections are a vital and necessary part of a healthy and functional democracy. However, those elected must be allowed to govern with their electoral mandate without the interference of disruptive election cycles.

I believe this is the best course of action for our Empire considering the tumultuous events that recently unfolded. Stable and consistent leadership in the House and at the head of government will allow us to continue to progress until fresh elections are held in June.

The Government will put this Motion to a vote in the next twenty-four hours. I would ask all the Right Honourable Members of this House to back the motion.

In regards to the current motion put towards the house, i urge all of my honourable colleagues to vote against such motion. I believe it is just a motive dressed up as a "motion" for her majesty's government to cling to power. The region is entitled to elect government representatives at a set time, not a delayed time.
The Region's inhabitants are deserving of voting in a newly elected government at THEIR intent, not elected representatives intent.
I, in my professional opinion see no reason to extend the term until the next election. This government has had ample opportunities to find and solve the problem to voter fraud (If that is their concern), so therefore there is no excuse to back extending the term of Prime Minister and Speaker of the House.

I support the Prime Minister, the speaker and other officials of her majesty's government, but i do not believe this is how progress should be made in this government.

I therefore, urge my right honourable friends to vote against this motion.

Hear, hear. Mr. Speaker, I would also like to point out that the Foreign Secretary has voted against the government's motion as well. Clearly the Prime Minister cannot control his own cabinet. Further reasons to vote against this desperate power grab.

While I support the Prime Minister's policies, it is important that he realize that an election is necessary.

I Very much understand the need to uphold the democracy of our region, but would it not be in the interest of the government to temporarily post-pone the election until the matter with Celtic Britain is resolved?

If this was not possible then we should consider creating a ambassador position to the Celtic Britain so we can maintain the communication and relations with them.

I completely agree with the latter statement of the right honourable gentleman. Our region just endured a humiliating battle against the raiders which are now joint running the government of the region. Until British influence is fully restored and we can fully trust the raiders that they will not depose the British government in Celtic Britain, we certainly should establish an ambassador position through this election cycle.

Mr. Speaker and Right Honourable Members,

I am not a member of the House of Commons. However, I believe it is important to share my opinion as the sole member of the judiciary with the legislative branch of our government.

I am the original author of the Constitution and of the amendment which created seasonal sessions of the House. The purpose of this amendment was two fold. Firstly, to better organise the business of the House and sitting Government. Secondly, to facilitate regular scheduled elections for the positions of Prime Minister and Speaker of the House.

No one cares about the Consitution, its application and its future development more than I. To the shame of every member of this House with the exception of Not-Brittania, no member including the Prime Minister and Speaker of the House even noticed the Winter Session has expired. I informed the PM and Speaker of the Winter Sessions expiration a number of weeks ago by telegram. However, I decided it was in the best interests of the Empire to refrain from publicly airing my misgivings due to the conflict in Celtic Britain.

The Prime Minister and Speaker have now tabled a motion to extend their terms until the end of the Spring Session. This would mean their terms would be extended until 1st June 2019. Since we have no official process of amending the Constitution permanently or temporarily, this is a completely legal motion. I do not agree with the disrespect shown to the Constitution in this instance, but I would urge every member of the House to vote YES.

Why? Because it will take at least two weeks to elect a new Prime Minister and Speaker of the House. They will most likely be sworn in at the very end of April or beginning of May. They would be serving for a term of only ONE MONTH. Their terms would end on 1st June 2019 and we would need to organise new elections for the Summer Session of the House of Commons.

Our activity cannot be based around elections and campaigning alone. I am personally willing as a citizen to permit a one month extension until the scheduled elections. I believe it will ultimately be to the benefit of the Empire and our development as a community.

It's nice to be back.

I am enjoying my retirement from public life. It's been a great deal easier managing my spare time since I resigned as Prime Minister. Unfortunately, I still do not have as much time as I would like to participate with all of you here. However, I felt compelled to share my short opinion on the current motion which the House is voting on. I aim to be brief and to the point.

Our Constitution is written in a way which empowers the legislature beyond all other branches of Government. The Prime Minister and Speaker are elected from among the membership of the House of Commons, and it is the House which confirms judges including the Chief Justice onto the Supreme Court. The House of Commons is meant to be the driver of activity within the Empire of Great Britain. However, far too often it is the Prime Minister who is responsible for pushing forward new initiatives and schemes. Whether that was Regal Windsor or myself in the past, or United Provinces Emissary now.

That's not the way it is meant to be. Ordinary members of the House - who are not necessarily Prime Minister, Speaker of the House or a member of the Cabinet - are meant to introduce and debate new bills which eventually go to a vote. Everyone is a member of the House automatically. Every citizen is empowered to shape the future of this region. That's the number one lesson I believe we should be taking away from this House vote. The power is with the ordinary members of the House.

Now, I am still eligible to vote as a member of the House of Commons. So this is my offer to the Government as an ordinary member. I will vote YES if the Government is willing to issue a schedule for the Summer Session/June 2019 elections for Speaker of the House and Prime Minister. I will vote NO if the Government is unwilling to issue a schedule which it will follow.

Right Honourable Members of the House!

I would like to see that some legislation is passed with the input of those outside of the cabinet. Without becoming biased in any way, I am inclined to agree with the previous PM Colfax County. This house is for all citizens, the cabinet is not solely responsible for driving through change, and I implore you to make your views on matters being discussed heard. I ask this because there has been a lot of distractions for the region in recent weeks but now we are finally able to focus more on domestic issues.

Please take an active role in our fine region.

Mr. Speaker, I bring to the House today a resolution. It may seem mundane, but I believe it to be worthwhile to have an official regional holiday.

Whereas, the Empire of Great Britain is currently without an official regional holiday and,

Whereas, the birthday of the historical Queen Victoria for whom our founder is named is the 24th of the month of May and,

Whereas, the birthday of the Queen would seem an appropriate day for a regional holiday, now, therefore be it

Resolved, that May 24th be designated Queen Victoria Day in the Empire of Great Britain and

Resolved, that on this day the House of Commons adjourn and the region celebrate its unique Britishness and the birthday of Queen Victoria in suitably patriotic ways.

I invite the members of the House to read and consider this resolution, propose amendments, and then vote on whether or not it ought to be adopted.
