Historical Record of your race/Civilization: The Ferrans are a species of feline humanoids. They look like Humans, but have cat ears, cat fangs (teeth), cat claws and cat eyes. They were organized into clans, each led by a chief, and their homeworld is Ferra I, located in the Ferra System. They were a primitive species for many, many years until they started to develop technology and unite their respective tribes. The many wars the tribes waged on each others have usually been common, but ended up becoming extremely devastating, thus unity was preferred. The "Council of Tribes" was set up to represent the tribes of the Ferran race and also guide the entire race as a whole.

Upon expansion across and outside the Ferra System, the Ferran Empire developed an ideology that combines it's imperialistic attitude with a sense of ethnocentrism, viewing the Ferrans as a race that is superior towards other races, both tribal and non-tribal. They do other stuff than just invading such as trade, diplomacy and science. Nonetheless, they are still a militant race thirsting for blood ever since their old, primitive days on their homeworld.

Hey I just wanted to ask a question regarding ship sizes mentioned in the google doc.

Ships size, bar a maximum of 1-2% of your total naval and resource capacity, are to be under 1.2km in length. In Plainspeak: 1-2 Super caps over that limit are allowed as long as if they are A: Not Deathstar Levels of Absurd, and B: All parties involved understand the Deployment of such Assets are on the level, if not above the level of a Full Nuclear strike in terms of the message they send.

In favor of having more ships over the 1.2km size, say 2km-3km, could I drastically reduce the amount of ships in number? Meaning instead of 100 1km ships, it would be 50 2km ships, or 25 3km ships.

Im hesitant.

The reasoning of the size limit is similar to that of the old Washington naval treatises, to prevent arms races and fleet wank.

The normal range of ship building puts most ships at the 4-600 meter range, with anything larger being capital ships that cost an ass tone of resources to build maintain.


You want to build 50 2km ships, go ahead. Just understand that those 50 ships will be a substantial portion of your fleet capacity.


Also understand me and my COOPs retain the right to veto stuff l for the sake of preventing wank.

Historical Record of your race/Civilization: The Hakutan people are a race of Silicon-based life forms who evolved into sentience at roughly the same time as humanity. Their small stature made them easy targets for natural predators on their home planet of Hakutar. While the harsh planetary environment had already led them to form early civilizations and societies, they were still no match for the much larger Rhakka beasts which often fed upon the Hakutans. In order to protect themselves, the Hakutans prioritized the building of foritifications and walls around their villages as well as selective breeding in order to create a more effective fighting force against predators. Over hundreds of years of inevitable tribal warfare, the wisest elders among the 5 major tribes came together to form the Hakutan High Council, uniting the tribes into a single nation. Over the next few thousand years, the Hakutan civilizations have sustained themselves peacefully. This, along with the extinction of the Rhakka beasts, caused the specially breeded warrior class to phase out over time. The Hakutan societies began to primarily focus on space exploration and shipbuilding in order to discover other civilizations throughout the galaxy. Upon discovering other more warlike socities among the stars, the Hakutan used Genetic Engineering to recreate the warrior class of Hakutans, named the "Torgan" by the High Council. Their purpose lies only in the protection of the Hakutan homeworld from otherworldly threats. The High Council decreed such things in order to retain the peacefulness they had worked hard to bring into their united society. Today, the Hakutans are renowned for their master shipbuilding and mechanical prowess. They are small but kindhearted and peaceful creatures devoted to hard work and non-violence.
