Given the engine designs and fuel requirements of the SDY-Greadtóir 15 Craiceáilte Mark I Attack-VTOL, is it technically and practically feasible to create a customized variant of said aircraft which uses Stirling engines and can run on aviation biofuel along with conventional aviation fuel?

These attributes are already standard for our land and air platforms, which are developed mainly by Domestic Defense Development, the state-owned defense company. Every airplane in use for the Air Force, from our fighter jets to our refueling aircraft, is designed to make use of the Stirling engine and our particular blends of biofuel.

Such an aircraft would also need to be compatible with the Cisalpinia class Aircraft Carrier that we have purchased through Arthropolian Military Product Exports. The vessel itself features a STOVL launch system.

Domestic Defense Development, which holds the patents to the military-standard Stirling engine and blend of biofuel, would be your partner in the project. It would fully disclose all technical and other details of its platforms, engines, fuels, and associated items.

If this is not possible, the SDY-Greadtóir 15 Craiceáilte Mark I Attack-VTOL will certainly fit the bill for our needs.

The Navy is looking to purchase a number of aircraft that meet the parameters noted above -enough for two squadrons- to serve as the nucleus for a Naval Aviation component.

I know this email is rather short on technical details and the like, but I want to know if my requests are within the realm of possibility before moving forward.

I am sure you are now at least somewhat aware of the general situation regarding naval avation. This is part of a broader challenge we at Domestic Defense Development are faced with- for which your firm's help would be welcomed.

Some background should illuminate this matter.

In December of 2017, the Royal Republic, which was formerly completely land-locked, purchased what has since been named the Maritime Territory. The MT consists of the city of Llastres, a deepwater port on the Pacific Coast which can accommodate Panamax-sized ships, and tracts of adjacent land surrounding the city. Bruke lacks significant natural resources but has an export-based economy, and has been faced in the past with politically-driven shortages of resources- such as the Arab oil embargo of 1973- or a lack of competitiveness vis a vis other developed parts of the world. In addition to this, the country has long struggled to meaningfully fulfill the strategic imperative of guaranteeing the sovereignty and independence of the Ethiopian Empire -from which the settlers of this country came. There is long been a broad consensus within the federal government that closer ties to the Empire -and now, its successor states of Ethiopia and Eritrea- are vital to the continuing legitimacy of the monarchy and the preservation of our national heritage.

Additionally, the country has been through a terrifying number of successive invasion attempts and other perils in very quick succession, from the brief Brukean-Uzumaki War to tensions with Elvectica (after having suffered from a coup which was later brought to an end) and the Pan-Asiatic States. Two years. Two years brought all that, after Bruke opened up to the wider world beyond the West American Union and joined the World Assembly. I cannot tell you how much this has worried the public- national security is on the top of their concerns.

Given this confluence of economic, strategic, and even cultural interests, the President -along with the new Prime Minister and his Cabinet- have made clear their expectations that global trade will increase, historical links with Ethiopia and Eritrea will deepen, and that another invasion attempt could occur at any moment. This will of course require that our armed forces are able to, at a minimum, protect our own territory and littoral zone, and with time operate within the Indo-Pacific, particularly in the Horn of Africa.

Accordingly, the Security Ministry has tasked us with developing a green-water navy, from scratch, that can be further developed into a blue-water navy. We envision that the Navy should eventually be able to operate in the regions mentioned above -for the foreseeable future, NATO member states should be able to assist us with any trouble in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. There has already been a quadrupling of the defense budget and the formation of a fleet -with Llastres as its home port- in line with the general program of expanding the armed forces.

Given the historical lack of maritime expertise within the country -except for a brief attempt at creating a navy in the early 20th century- Domestic Defense Development has little to no experience with naval platforms, armaments, and the like. Building such experience takes years, if not decades. We have begun the process of modifying existing designs and equipment to suit this new demand, but in the short to medium-term we are unable to deliver what is expected of us.

Given you previous work with the Sultanate of Kyrenaia, which has been designated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Potential Major Ally, we have turned to your firm for help.

What we are offering is the following: a decade-long contract in which Silverport Dockyards Ltd. serves as the strategic supplier for all naval platforms and associated systems, and collaboration in future projects of mutual benefit, with your firm having exclusive rights to produce whatever systems are designed.

As hinted just above, we are offering our own expertise in land and air systems, along with other equipment, with an eye toward research and development that is complementary to whatever you may need.

These attributes are already standard for our land and air platforms, which are developed mainly by Domestic Defense Development, the state-owned defense company. Every airplane in use for the Air Force, from our fighter jets to our refueling aircraft, is designed to make use of the Stirling engine and our particular blends of biofuel.

Such an aircraft would also need to be compatible with the Cisalpinia class Aircraft Carrier that we have purchased through Arthropolian Military Product Exports. The vessel itself features a STOVL launch system.

Domestic Defense Development, which holds the patents to the military-standard Stirling engine and blend of biofuel, would be your partner in the project. It would fully disclose all technical and other details of its platforms, engines, fuels, and associated items.

If this is not possible, the SDY-Greadtóir 15 Craiceáilte Mark I Attack-VTOL will certainly fit the bill for our needs.

The Navy is looking to purchase a number of aircraft that meet the parameters noted above -enough for two squadrons- to serve as the nucleus for a Naval Aviation component.

I know this email is rather short on technical details and the like, but I want to know if my requests are within the realm of possibility before moving forward.

I am sure you are now at least somewhat aware of the general situation regarding naval avation. This is part of a broader challenge we at Domestic Defense Development are faced with- for which your firm's help would be welcomed.

Some background should illuminate this matter.

In December of 2017, the Royal Republic, which was formerly completely land-locked, purchased what has since been named the Maritime Territory. The MT consists of the city of Llastres, a deepwater port on the Pacific Coast which can accommodate Panamax-sized ships, and tracts of adjacent land surrounding the city. Bruke lacks significant natural resources but has an export-based economy, and has been faced in the past with politically-driven shortages of resources- such as the Arab oil embargo of 1973- or a lack of competitiveness vis a vis other developed parts of the world. In addition to this, the country has long struggled to meaningfully fulfill the strategic imperative of guaranteeing the sovereignty and independence of the Ethiopian Empire -from which the settlers of this country came. There is long been a broad consensus within the federal government that closer ties to the Empire -and now, its successor states of Ethiopia and Eritrea- are vital to the continuing legitimacy of the monarchy and the preservation of our national heritage.

Additionally, the country has been through a terrifying number of successive invasion attempts and other perils in very quick succession, from the brief Brukean-Uzumaki War to tensions with Elvectica (after having suffered from a coup which was later brought to an end) and the Pan-Asiatic States. Two years. Two years brought all that, after Bruke opened up to the wider world beyond the West American Union and joined the World Assembly. I cannot tell you how much this has worried the public- national security is on the top of their concerns.

Given this confluence of economic, strategic, and even cultural interests, the President -along with the new Prime Minister and his Cabinet- have made clear their expectations that global trade will increase, historical links with Ethiopia and Eritrea will deepen, and that another invasion attempt could occur at any moment. This will of course require that our armed forces are able to, at a minimum, protect our own territory and littoral zone, and with time operate within the Indo-Pacific, particularly in the Horn of Africa.

Accordingly, the Security Ministry has tasked us with developing a green-water navy, from scratch, that can be further developed into a blue-water navy. We envision that the Navy should eventually be able to operate in the regions mentioned above -for the foreseeable future, NATO member states should be able to assist us with any trouble in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. There has already been a quadrupling of the defense budget and the formation of a fleet -with Llastres as its home port- in line with the general program of expanding the armed forces.

Given the historical lack of maritime expertise within the country -except for a brief attempt at creating a navy in the early 20th century- Domestic Defense Development has little to no experience with naval platforms, armaments, and the like. Building such experience takes years, if not decades. We have begun the process of modifying existing designs and equipment to suit this new demand, but in the short to medium-term we are unable to deliver what is expected of us.

Given you previous work with the Sultanate of Kyrenaia, which has been designated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Potential Major Ally, we have turned to your firm for help.

What we are offering is the following: a decade-long contract in which Silverport Dockyards Ltd. serves as the strategic supplier for all naval platforms and associated systems, and collaboration in future projects of mutual benefit, with your firm having exclusive rights to produce whatever systems are designed.

As hinted just above, we are offering our own expertise in land and air systems, along with other equipment, with an eye toward research and development that is complementary to whatever you may need.

Now, as for your questions regarding the SDY-Greadtóir 15 Craiceáilte Mark I Attack-VTOL.
After consulting with the engineers responsible of SDY-Greadtóir, I am afraid to say, that we sadly will be unable to equip the Craiceáilte with a Stirling Engine, mainly because an engine of the needed output would simply be too large. However, pending the specifications of the biofuel and testing, we might be able to either apply it directly or to modify the Craiceáilte's engines sufficiently to take that fuel well.
As for compatibleness with the Cisalpinia class Aircraft Carrier, to quote Miss Cathlong: “Yeah, sure.” The shortness of her reply means, that there should be no to minimal issues, pending the weight rating of the aircraft elevators and the height of the hangar, both things, which Arthropol DE is rather silent about. As, however, they specifically state Harrier and F-35 as aircraft possible to be operated from their vessels, there should not be any problems.

5x Winternitz-class Corvettes: 1.5 billion NSD.
18x Rhiannon-II-class Frigates: 12.6 billion NSD.

We would like to offer the Central Jeffersonian Navy to send sailors and crews to Silverport and other yard-locations in order to familiarize the crews with their vessels during construction. Room and board would be our charge.

We are also very glad to hear about being chosen as the prime contractor for the Central Jeffersonian Navy's Fleet Network Modernization Program. We are currently preparing the first shipment of technicians and parts to Central Jeffersonia, so that we can begin with the work as soon as the schedule permits.

After having finished the smaller scale testing of each of your existing vessels, the Krimzon Guard has requested that 1 of each of the Packages available be purchased for peripheral use. In addition to this we are interested in purchasing the Domestic Production Rights for the three ships previously developed for the Krimzon Guard by Silverport Dockyards Ltd. Thirdly we would like to purchase a notably large number of the Wisewolf Hydroponics Vessels in order to create a greater surplus of food and enrich the lives of our people overall. If the number of ships requested is simply beyond your capacity we would gladly settle for a smaller and more manageable amount as we may produce the desired number of ships ourselves upon obtaining the DPR for the aforementioned ship. Alternatively if the large ship order is simply out of the question you may reject it if that is your wish but we would still like to follow through with the rest of the order including the listed Packages.
Finally, we would like to make a special request; after having made multiple orders and three successful collaborations(as of writing) we cannot help but desire to formalize the relationship between Silverport Dockyards and the Khaos Konfederacy. Thus, we ask if you would construct one of your shipyards within our nation in the special economic zone, formally known as Mirror City, Section 11. We would happily cover the associated cost and we believe that it would see much use as the Khaos Konfederacy would request that all purchases made by our nation/government be fulfilled there so long as capacity permits. Please allow me to point out, that this is the largest order we ever had and that we are quite likely to outsource the production of some of the vessels to foreign shipyards, which we trust to deliver vessels of similar quality standards as we do.
We also decided to not sell the DPRs for the St.Jimmy-class Library Ship, the Erol-class Mobile Factory and the Wisewolf-class Hydroponics Vessel, but to gift them to you as a sign of friendship. Speaking of which, concerning your offer to allow us to open shipyards within the Konfederacy, we would be willing to open a total of five yards over the next few years - soon enough to participate in this building programme.
