Agri keeps recommending me to play Tropico so I can recreate Ecuador, and I keep not answering his calls.

I'll tell you when I finally yield.

Vanq commands a quiet respect that carries its own authority. He is the Hitler of NS.

"I know Vanq is a very good writer and this is how he treats someone of lesser skill?"
"I would love to have a writer of your caliber along for the ride"
"neo and vanq do a dbz fusion to form 1 big shitposter then get erased from NS by kyrusia"

Name: Hera Sherwood
Age: 40
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Appearance: Here
Young Blood?: N
Bio:
Before becoming the elusive corporate magnate and media personality she is now, Hera Sherwood was born into the Sherwood family, an elite family renowned for their astronomical wealth and rich bloodline. Much of the family gained their clout from slaves and the plantation lifestyle before the civil war, becoming a banking family during Reconstruction, when the economy in the South changed from one which was largely agrarian to one that was largely industrial. The Sherwoods then moved to big businesses, with many of their members establishing large and powerful companies in the 1890s and 1900s, some of which still survive today.

Hera had a practically perfect childhood, her vast wealth allowing her to get whatever material fad was in style or buy whatever she wanted. When she was 18, she was admitted to the Wharton School of Business like her father—and her father's father, and so on. Recognizing her daughter's desire to continue the family tradition, Hera's father, after having led his massive real estate company to its zenith, retired comfortably from business atop a mountain of money with his wife as he reached his elderly ages, appointing the fate of the company to his daughter. Hera graduated from the school and received an economics degree, later moving to New York City, where she promptly bought out a luxurious penthouse apartment to begin the next stage of the family's business.

In 1994, Hera would establish her own successful fashion and beauty company in New York, merging it as a subsidiary under her family's company, which she renamed to The Sherwood Organization, expanding it throughout Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. Her company would buy out older companies and build new subsidiaries atop them, renovating skyscrapers, casinos, hotels, and golf courses all around the world in her ever expanding empire. Hera had solely managed the company herself into the new millennium, expanding into a burgeoning entertainment industry and collaborating with several up and coming superheroes. One of them was a certain "Adonis," a secret identity for a young superhuman South African known as Allen Winston. Allen headed Winston Astrodynamics, an aerospace and defense company whose clients included Crimson Host Security, several oil-rich Arab states, and a myriad of eccentric private donors. The two companies were polar opposites, but to Hera, it was a match made in heaven. In 2003, Allen and Hera merged their companies into the Winston-Sherwood Corporation, ruling both companies like Roman consuls..up until 2017.

An attempt on Hera's life by an obsessed fan gone postal revealed that she had been hiding her powers to much of the public, and many of her anti-superhuman clients were pissed, while those for superhumans were elated. Possessing such esoteric and strange powers, Hera's public image changed from that of a feminist-fashion empress-quasi-politician to a superhuman rights icon, as well as, to some like Warwolf and the Grey Arms Corporation and their elusive big boss, Lycan, a public menace and a potential threat.

Recently, the Winston-Sherwood Corporation was confronted by the Grey Arms Corporation over a potential purchase of Hera and Adonis's now media-fashion-defense conglomerate. Unbeknownst to her, a series of events involving Allen's sudden disappearance and death in Jamaica, as well as increased and aggressive corporate activity by the Grey Arms Corporation and Earl Grey, seemed to point to her that these simple talks of a "purchase" weren't truly adding up to what they seemed to be.

Powers:
  • [Object Timeline Control]: Hera can control the timeline of objects or specific aspects of them. She can act as a sort of "remote control" that is able to pause, resume, fast-forward, and rewind whatever aspect of the object she is affecting. An example of Hera's use of her ability is to accelerate the speed of a punch while pausing the time it would take for her fists to break from the immense speed and force it normally cannot handle, thus allowing her to punch at increased power. Some more niche applications include pausing food or the bacteria to keep it from spoiling, pausing the timeline of something like a bullet or arrow falling to keep it flying straight, pausing the air in front of her to make it function like a solid, or rewinding some injuries.

Limitations:
  • She must be in contact with the object to be able to affect it.
  • Deaths cannot be rewinded.
  • The effects of Hera's ability are permanent if she does not specify otherwise, making an affected object potentially dangerous for herself and others.
  • Hera is unable to universally manipulate time and is not immune to abilities revolving around time, like time stops.

Weaknesses:
  • [Conflict of Interest]: Hera's most glaring weakness is shown when she tries to affect more object than one at the same time, which will cause a physical strain to be put on her body. In extreme cases of affecting more than one thing, she will succumb to exhaustion and risk collapsing from overexertion, or even dying in the fashion of a heart attack or stroke.
  • [Only Human]: Powers aside, Hera is just as strong—and as weak—as any regular person.

Likes: Fashion, expensive food, materialistic things, anything on two legs, small furry animals, beauty products, affectionate relationships, CBT
Dislikes: Cheaters, untrustworthy people, competition, not getting what she wants

Additional Information
Birthday: August 1
Theme song: Shaolin Monk Motherfunk
Favorite food: Fast food french fries
Greatest fear: Spiders

Name: Kyle Bormann | Arsenal
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Here
Young Blood?: No

Bio:
Born in rural Georgia, Kyle Bormann's powers manifested when he was 7, when his parents noticed the boy seemingly playing with a set of American Revolutionary War era army soldiers. They didn't think much of it, really, until the soldiers started moving on their own, in which their interest—and thus their concern—in their son's powers grew as he himself grew up. Aside from the usual evens of his relatively normal life, Kyle noticed that as he grew, his army aged with him. Starting from the Revolutionary War era, the army began to progress in different time periods as he grew, from the Civil War to the World Wars, to Vietnam and beyond, ever becoming more powerful and more organized than the previous version of itself until, by 16, the army was the modern United States Military seen today.

In that time period, Kyle had gone through countless mock wargames with his troops, as well as several schools, practicing with his powers and maintaining regular upkeep and maintenance of his troops while also attempting to actually stay in school, all thanks to monetary issues involving his family. With his mother being unemployed from a recent recession and his father running through several jobs at once while he was still in middle school, Kyle attempted to try his hardest to stay in with stellar grades, a great athletic career, and a perfect conduct record, even though, inevitably, his family would be running out of money soon. He wasn't willing to go through any seedy contingency plans, despite how desperate the Bormanns really were. Luckily for Kyle, his above average grades, perfect conduct, and troubling economic situation soon caught the attention of the school, which would later give him and his family significant financial aid to move to California, where the famed Thomsen High was located in the city of San Diego. Kyle entered into the school as a freshman but took most of his classes off-campus in Fresno, where he refined and improved his abilities and control over his powers, while also receiving an education that all of his friends back home in Georgia would envy, practically for free and in a brand new home. It was at this time that Kyle met up with the Fresno Firestarters and joined the team, though felt oddly out of place among the 19 to 20 year olds that had taken up a position as the spiritual successors of the once-popular team. His time on the team was cut cruelly short when CORE and PLEX attacked Fresno, heavily injuring much of the members, but leaving Kyle spared, strangely.

After the incident, his family moved in permanently to San Diego, where Kyle enrolled into the school properly. Not wanting history to repeat itself, Kyle focused on his studies and continued to make stellar grades in school, but rumors of a local team known as the "Young Bloods" steadily gaining notoriety seemed to pique his interest. He went off to search for this team, looking for a more "supportive" role in helping out the team, though not affiliating himself with them..

Powers:
  • [Pocket Army]: Kyle is capable of summoning an entire miniature army to his side at any time. The toy-sized combat force is identical in composition to the real-world United States Military, circa 2017, and includes respective (fictional, for this case) army units, battalions, brigades, vehicles, ships, etc. The miniature army in question is a fully-fledged and ready combat force in military terms, and while they are self-aware and actively loyal to Kyle, they are capable of performing tasks and actions autonomously, or under direct control. In case Kyle needs to move, the army can simply be "packed up" and "stored" in a sort of Hammerspace-like environment until they need to be deployed elsewhere. Despite their small stature, the firepower of Kyle's army's is not to be underestimated, as concentrated firepower from a sufficiently-sized infantry force can easily injure or incapacitate opponents, while tanks, aircraft, and other vehicles still maintain ample firepower, albeit halved from their original full-size counterparts, due to their smaller size. The army is also capable of creating buildings such as firebases and bunkers, and small firing positions, and Kyle is capable of communicating with his forces freely, provided they have a radio. Radar emplacements and airborne early warning and control systems (AEW&Cs) can serve as a sort of "sixth sense" to Kyle, allowing him to locate threats he may not even be looking at.
  • [Ultimate Tactician]: Already well-versed on military tactics and strategy, Kyle's mini-military contains a number of generals, admirals, and officers which he is capable of consulting at any moment for advice, if Kyle's own tactical ingenuity won't suffice. In addition to helping lead the miniature army when Kyle is not micromanaging it, this command staff may also provide real-time guidance and insight to Kyle in many situations, and have proven time and time again that they are an intelligent and effective batch of leaders.

Limitations:
  • Although the army does have a massive amount of firepower, in regular military terms, this firepower is only a fraction of the firepower of its fully-sized counterpart. This means it'll take considerable and sustained firepower to destroy or damage larger enemies and targets.
  • For obvious reasons, the army's small stature means that destroying it is a far easier task than it may sound.
  • All armies require proper logistics. Kyle's is no different. In order to properly maintain and supply his army, he must have an active supply chain going between headquarters and whatever logistics depots he establishes to supply his troops. Disrupting these vulnerable lines will cause a logistical nightmare to unfold.

Weaknesses:
  • [Don't Lift]: Kyle was never truly a super star athlete, nor was he super strong - only slim and nimble. Anyone that is decently fit has an above average chance of kicking his ass.
  • [Small Boys:] Kyle's mini-army performs at their best when directly next to or near him. Conversely, they lose effectiveness and morale at longer ranges. When their morale crashes, their effectiveness is seriously affected. In addition, Kyle's army suffers from the elements harder than full-sized people, with extreme heat, extreme cold, and difficult terrain all capable of slowing their movements down to a crawl and limiting their effectiveness.
  • [Eye For An Eye:] When Kyle's army takes catastrophic losses, or loses a large amount of soldiers/equipment at once, he takes damage as well, relative to the losses he receives. Large losses will deal considerable injuries, while smaller losses can simply be shrugged off.

Likes: Grand strategy, RTS games, Military history, food, obscure geopolitical topics and old battles
Dislikes: Losing, unfair fights.

Name: Jason Page
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance (pics if possible): When the unexpected happens
Young Blood?: No
Bio(Please treat this as a replacement for a writing sample. No more than a few paragraphs is necessary but it should be well written):
The eldest in the Page family, Jason was a good-natured and bright child. He was never the smartest or the most physically gifted of his peers, but he made up for it with a strong work ethic and a stubborn determination. Year after year he received glowing comments on his report cards even if his grades weren’t quite perfect: his effort and willingness to learn earning him more praise than natural ability could anyway. His life story never strayed too far from the ordinary. For a few years he was the scrawny, acne-strewn nerd of the year and was picked on and mocked. But then with the onset of a growth spurt, Jason worked to turn his social fortunes around. Signing up for the high school basketball team, the one infraction on his record is from when he took a stand against his middle school bully – sending the kid to the nurse’s office with a fractured arm. Overall, Jason Page was a generally well-liked and compassionate kid. Sure, he wasn’t the most popular person in his class, but he was always the first to take a stand against a bully or sit down to welcome the new guy at the start of the year. He had real potential and nobody was surprised when he got into some of his top college picks as he entered Senior year. It looked like his life was on the path to success, but it only took an instant to derail it completely.

It was early morning when he got the phone call, another late night studying for exams. At first he thought that it was a friend, but the stern, official voice on the other end of the line began the process of tying his stomach into a knot. His two parents had been catching a plane to visit him. There’d been an incident involving a supervillain. The LA Stars had responded. Unfortunately, the heroes hadn’t quite made it to the scene in time and the fight turned messy. Some civilians had been caught in the ensuing carnage – a plane going up in flames as it had taxied on the tarmac. Jason’s heart sunk as he connected the rest of the dots himself until the voice dropped the bombshell with a practiced delicateness: they wanted him to come in and identify the bodies.

Shock gripped Jason for the next few days, the scenes and events blurring together as he was taken from apologetic official to apologetic official. They were all so sorry for his lost, insistent on their inability to understand but never quite putting in the effort to listen when he spoke. The whole process was like an assembly line, his parents having been reduced to two more names on the list of casualties and the surviving members of the Page family little more than another set of grieving relatives who had to be dealt with. Without any close family members to take them in, Jason suddenly found himself thrust into a role of responsibility, sheltering his two younger sisters as they moved in to live with him in his modest apartment. Their parents had left them with enough to stay on their feet, but Jason wasted no time in taking on a few extra jobs to help make ends meet, trying to do his best to insulate his siblings from the fallout of their loss. That had all occurred nearly four years ago, and the three surviving Pages have adapted to their new life. Nearing the end of his time in medical school, Jason works both as an ambulance paramedic for the SDPD and occasionally as a nurse in the City hospital when they find themselves understaffed. It’s tough work, but it pays well while allowing him to feel like he’s making a difference. But juggling his studies with his work, all while trying to manage the endless series of headaches that his sisters seem to bring him, was never going to be easy.

Powers:
  • [Paramedic]: Jason is a trained medical professional and has a good few years of experience under his belt. Although he hasn’t fully completed his education, his experience coupled with a natural affinity for helping those under his care has meant that he can often be a real lifesaver for those in need.
  • [A Good Head on his Shoulders]: Jason has been able to keep a calm head during stressful situations, allowing him to continue to function and perform his role even when shit hits the fan. In addition to this, while he’s never been the smartest person in the room, he’s undeniably intelligent and has a knack for problem solving and getting himself out of sticky situations.

Limitations:
  • [“Damn it Jim, I’m a Doctor not a ______!”]: Jason is a doctor (or a doctor-in-training at least). While he’s been in a few scuffles, he’s hardly a trained fighter and he is most certainly not a superhero.
  • [A Heart of Gold]: When faced with a choice between doing what’s right and doing what’s smart, Jason will almost inevitably go for the stupid option. He’ll run into a fight with someone twice his size and end up groaning on the floor next to the person he intended to help, and he’ll open his mouth against a perceived injustice when all it does is make himself a new enemy.

Weaknesses:
  • [Only Human]: Exactly what it says on the tin. Not only does Jason lack anything in the way of superpowers, he also doesn’t have any exceptional martial training. In a fair fight against a real foe, he’d be in trouble.
  • [Family comes first]: Although his two sisters are often giving him more headaches than not, Jason loves his family and is willing to do anything to protect them. At the same time, they are also an easy way for anyone to get to him - assuming someone ever cared about someone like him enough to bother.

Likes: His family, making a difference, getting his paycheque, a relaxed night out
Dislikes: Having to bail his sisters out of trouble, not getting enough sleep, injustice, unnecessary violence

Additional Information (Optional; remove if unused)-
Birthday:
Theme song:
Favorite food:
Greatest fear: Something happening to his sisters

North America Inc wrote:
Faction Name:San Diego Militia (Regional Force of the True Patriots)
Faction Location/Territory: Southern California
Tech Level: MT
Description/Lore:
In 1992, an apocalyptic manifesto known as the Nation of One, was published and released onto the fledgling internet; penned by a man named Walter Kovacs, the 1000 page work was divided into different sections on a variety of topics such as the state of the Union, the threat of Globalization, the loss of the Individual, the Gifted, and his theory of so called Power Inequality. The Superhero Human Rights Act had allowed for the militarization of superheroes and allowed them to patrol the streets at will; Kovacs argued that this did not go far enough. The bloated military and federal government were finally being limited and we the people were finally going against the Weberian theory of the monopoly of power; however, Kovacs hated the so called hypocrisy of superheros that actively fought against vigilant groups made up of average individuals. While these groups were being resisted, federal laws constituting gun control were merely an attempt to create a division of those who were born or lucky enough to be granted powers and those who weren't. The protection of Second Amendment was paramount due to this; as superheroes were not adequate to deal with the rampant crime facing the United States.

Kovacs praised the idea of a superhero but held some deep criticisms of the current system. The rampant commercialization had allowed them to become the tools of the NGOs, the Deep State, and other large corporations that supplied them with their equipment; while at the same time, superheroes had no reason to clean up the streets or do anything to actually address the issue. Quite the contrary, they actually worsened the situation. Escalation of criminals to villains to super-villains was causing greater and greater damage to the core infrastructure and people of the United States, while crime rates continued to rise. Superheroes had a vested interest in order to keep crime rights high as it fed into their net worth, cult of personalities, and gave them a purpose through perpetual violence. Their costumes and child like antics has also allowed for what he called the 'effeminate generation' were our children will become rapid followers of superheroes and blindly worshipped their brand and caring little about the damage they caused.

On the last chapter he called for a Nationwide Citizen Militia of local leaders to do the same as superheros and prove the importance of civilian involvement. This last chapter has become the most circulated part of the manifesto and most often used for recruitment; even though the Nation of One also called for the end of law enforcement and the use of those funds to fund rehabilitation of low tier criminals. The most common talking point that was popularized and parroted was the need of a militia to work just as Superheros. While Mr. Kovacs was never physically seen and many question whether it was actually his name, it didn't stop this nationwide hit from becoming a tool for the American Rifle Association and other gun lobbyist firms. Inner City Crime which had always plagued the United States since the early 80s was soon the excuse used by suburban homeowners for their own pseudo-militarization; this new glut of militia members attracted everyone from the concerned fathers to blatant White Nationalists.

After the First Invasion, as these groups called it, a new large scale organization was created to oversee and connect these local cells for political action. The True Patriots were formed to act as a Second Amendment oriented group as well as to lobby Congress to not pass any new new anti-vigilant policies. Superheroes who complained about or opposed militias and vigilant would often find the court of public opinion turn against them as talk radio and one mainstream news network would often complain about their hypocrisy.

The San Diego Militia was formed in 1996 after the Waco Incident as a way to ensure citizen vigilance and a close community outreach. The group started off as relatively small but as the "The Nation of One" became one of the most popular books of the 90s and the formation of the True Patriots Political Action Committee, their members soon measured in the ten of thousands. SDM soon began expanding into Long Beach, Los Angeles, Irvine, and other Southern California Cities, making their name itself a misnomer. What started off as local potlucks, shooting range events, and calls to vote has soon escalated into something else entirely; the rise of new gangs, superheroes, and mercenaries had allowed for local anxiety to reach boiling point. Groups such as Los Sicarios and the Black Apostles continue to plague the community and bring crime from south of the border. The Young Bloods were seen as nothing more than teenagers, with half of them not even being locals. Not even WarWolf itself was spared as they are seen as the tools of the Elites and mercenaries of foreign agents, more interested in brandishing power armor than protecting their homes.

Jaime Alvarez, a veteran of the First Contract War, Green Beret, and PL First Responder, ascended into the role of SDM Commander late last year; ever since the group has seen increased activity, organization, and fervency. Members on the weekends actively head out to the deserts of the Imperial Valley to exercise and perform combat training. Armor has become standardized and physical requirements has seen the SDM become an active combat fighting force; while they have not performed any raids as of yet, it looks as if Alvarez is ready to do so at any moment.
Army Size (If any): 2,500
Races that are part of the faction: Humans
Additional Info:

Army size seems kind of large for a local group, but other than that looks pretty good.

Got to be honest I'm a little concerned about Hera's power as it is complicated and potentially OP but I trust you to handle it well so she's accepted, as for Kyle though, I think because you already have a YB and another character you plan to make a YB you should shape him as to be a non-YB char.

Floyd canonically plays a lot of Touhou because he wants bullet hell shooters to test his superhuman senses. Renata is probably a fan of something simple and casual, like Wii Sports. :P

I thought Renata likes Dating sims so she could collect her personal harem

Actually, playing dating sims would fit her character somewhat, oh god

Just one thing - Vendetta may be coming back, but I feel like Seb can safely be taken off the list of OR members. :P

Ah, right. Will do. Didn't really expect to have to do any maintenance on team lists other than the YB's.

Aaand done.

Age: 15
Gender: Male
Race: Human

Young Blood?: Yes
Bio:

Miguel was born an unwanted bastard from an affair between an oligarch's son with a common woman. With his mother forced into exile due to this, Miguel was raised in the crime-infested seaport slums of Cebu City, Philippines where he spent most of his younger days being involved in common crimes in the city such as pickpocketing, breaking into houses at night, being involved in gang fights, and occasionally smuggling illegal substances for crime syndicates. Otherwise, he was well-known among the children in the area for being an efficient Street Basketball player, the most popular sport in the area -if not the country. He was also quite popular in his area, both to the common man and criminals, where he's commonly referred as Boy Kilat or Boy of Lighting due to how quick he was with his feet, both in playing sports or running away from authorities. Miguel is also regarded as a linguistic genius by his peers due to his quick understanding of foreign languages work due to his interest in conversing with tourists.

At one point, he accepted a contract from a Cebuano drug syndicate in order to earn quick cash by acting as their drug courier in Mindanao. There he stumbled upon a silver ring with a Baybayin inscription of Kilat while traversing through the deep forests to head towards a drug cartel hideout. As he wore the ring to sell it later for money, he accidentally inherited the ring's power of electromagnetism, although at the cost of a demon constantly threatening to find and kill him in Cebu within two months. Despite this, he has no grasp on how to use his newfound powers and the closest events of Miguel harnessing them were during streetfights and the like.

[TO BE FILLED BY ROLEPLAYS]
Powers:
  • Electromagnetic Manipulation: Miguel can theoretically utilize the power of one of the fundamental forces in the universe - Electromagnetic Force. Theoretically, he can utilize magnetic powers (e.g. metal manipulation, magnetic levitation, atomic manipulation, attract and repel, etc) and electricity (electrocution, heat generation, electrolysis, etc). At Miguel's current skill and knowledge level, however, he can only utilize electrocution to a certain degree.
  • Competent Street Fighter: Miguel became a competent street fighter due to his hard life in the lawless areas of the Philippines. He is competent in unorthodox techniques in fighting and will use underhanded tricks in order to win.

Limitations:
  • Self Damage - Constant usage of electric attacks will take a toll on Miguel's body.

Weaknesses :
  • Limited Knowledge of Electromagnetism: In addition to Miguel not knowing how to use his powers, he also doesn't have a single idea of what electromagnetism is due to illiteracy.
  • Vulnerable Body: Miguel's body have no supernatural defenses and he doesn't know how to use his electromagnetic defenses, making him vulnerable to most attacks that could harm humans.

Boo, it's not fair that only worst squad gets a graphic. Gimme a few hours to solve this injustice.

Is it wrong that I don't recognize anybody on that team card?
Vanq commands a quiet respect that carries its own authority. He is the Hitler of NS.

"I took away Vanq's YB for deliberatly ignoring me"
"I know Vanq is a very good writer and this is how he treats someone of lesser skill?"
"I would love to have a writer of your caliber along for the ride"
"neo and vanq do a dbz fusion to form 1 big shitposter then get erased from NS by kyrusia"
"Which is the level of memeing I expect from Vanq"
"brigadier general comes on, pulls a vanq and calls us all autistic"
