About Us
Introduction

SeaCul Ltd. is a massive international offshore drilling contractor based in the Holy Empire of Stevid and is part of the ‘Cul Group’ within the country.
In short, SeaCul is an oil and gas exploration and production company.

We are the leading provider of rigs for extracting oil and natural gas for the publically owned Stevidian fossil fuel company, Imperial Gas and Oil (IGO). Furthermore, Cul Group is one of the primary suppliers of natural resource commodities to the masses. One will always find a Cul fuel station within any town or city in Stevid and the Holy Empire. SeaCul aims to retrieve these resources and provide them to the public and commercial institutions. SeaCul has led the offshore drilling industry in central Greater Dienstad and Imperial territories since the late 1950’s and we pride ourselves on the use of innovative, ground-breaking, and sophisticated technology on exploring the oil and gas fields of the world’s oceans.

SeaCul operates a over 7,000 sea based rigs, of all variants, nationwide and over 75,000 regionally and globally and hope to develop our customer base to be a truly international competitor.

Our Mission

SeaCul is committed to delivering the best possible services to clients involved in the extraction and processing of oil and gas from under the seabed. We do this by offering the latest technological advances in sea drilling, providing personnel who are world leaders in their trade, impart our expertise to clients contracting us for their exploratory and extraction needs, and by providing a safe working environment to all employees our partners. We extend this ethic to our machinery and equipment and also to the natural environment. By being focused on all our values we aim to fulfil our obligations to our clients whilst keeping our workforce safe and impact upon the environment minimal.

Our Locations

Exploration
How

We find your resources and then bring them to you, your companies, and your nation. Typically using an array of seismic reflection techniques by way of equipment on our survey ships, we can detect oil and gas reservoirs deep in the ground. Our petroleum geologists analyse this data and can estimate the size of the reservoirs and compile a detailed analytical report and feasibility study on potential exploitation. With at least a 35% success chance, SeaCul will advice that one of our drill rigs or ships be used to drill and exploration well. Anything less then we will state there are ‘Probable Reserves’ and investment in the site may not be profitable, however you have the final say on all accounts.

In short, seismic waves are mechanical vibrations that react under certain conditions to differences in rock formations and other underground bodies. A form of underwater air cannon known as a Vibroseis generates the waves utilised by SeaCul. These cannons a deployed by the survey vessels in a three-barrel array with a streamer line and hydrophones towed behind that detect the seismic reflections after the bombardment.

Other techniques employed by SeaCul include gravitational and magnetic field measurements and deep ground penetration radar (sea and satellite based).

In regards to the more reliable seismic reflection, we can provide a high-resolution map of acoustic impedance contrasts at depths of up to 12.5 km within the subsurface. This can be combined with seismic attribute analysis and other exploration geophysics tools and used to help geologists build a geological model of the area of interest. Over a few months between two vessels, tens of nautical square miles can be accurately mapped, given their own names and attached feasibility reports.

Our Fleet

SeaCull operates a massive fleet of rigs and survey ships ready to meet any demands of customers. SeaCull currently utilises five types of vessel for exploration, drilling and extracting: Discovery Class Drillships, Midwater, Deepwater, Harsh Environment and Ultra-Deepwater mobile offshore drilling units (MODU) and static offshore drilling units (SODU) otherwise known as rigs.

Midwater Lakunai Alpha - Mordent (Lakunai Beta in background)

Discovery Drillships

Discovery Class drillships are of a standardised build of exploratory vessels designed for quick and affordable oil and gas exploration. All are double hulled and have dynamic positioning allowing the on-board computer to micromanage the ship’s azimuth thrusters to allow the ship to maintain its position and heading. The ship should be used primarily to explore oil and gas fields, but should clients be operating on a limited budget then these vessels can pump crude oil or natural gas so long as an offshore support vessel (OSV) is locale. This should only been seen as a temporary measure and a rig is to be recommended.

Furthermore, the Discovery Class can be utilised in environmental disaster clean up, being able to deploy caps over blowouts and prevent oil and gas contaminating the environment.

Class: Discovery Class
Type: Ocean-going Drilling Vessel
Length: 200m
Displacement: ~56,500 tons
Beam: 32m
Height: 132m
Speed: 12 knts
Range: 14,800 nmi (27,400 km; 17,000 mi)
Max drill depth: 3,000

Midwater ‘Indigator Class’ Rigs

Our midwater rigs are semi-submersible mobile offshore drilling units (MODUs) that are able to drill to depths of over 7,000 metres. They are anchored to the seabed to by several ultra-strength cables with inch perfect precision movement guaranteed by no less than four auto-correcting azimuth thrusters. These are your ‘traditional’ offshore rigs; reliable, capable, effective and affordable.
Capable of accommodating 200 personnel in excellent living facilities and being able to store 7,500 barrels of oil, this rig trumps the drillship in terms of size and ability to explore and mine in areas it simply cannot.

Unique to mid and deep-water rigs of SeaCul are the on-board facilities that are capable of surviving the harshest of conditions. SeaCul are no strangers to the edge of the world and our rigs are capable of performing in all manner of environments, be it the humid temperatures of the tropics to the frigid iceberg waters of the arctic. Safety elements harsh environment specific rigs include bright orange paintwork, additional lifeboat davits, enhanced surface radar tracking, enhance weather radar, additional helicopter landing pads, and improved on-board temperature controls.

Deep Water Drill Ship Rigs

Offering some of the most capable and unparalleled dual-purpose rigs in the world, SeaCul’s Deep Water/Ultra Deep Water rigs deliver unmatched flexibility at competitive rates. This rigs/drillships are capable of operating at surface-to-sea depths of up to 3,600m (~12,000ft) and drilling to incredible depths of 12,250m (~40,000ft). The price hike in using these is well warranted, able of green water drilling and exploration and out to the deepest blue water pockets of resources you can find. Our deep-water rigs contain the very best in exploratory and cultivation technology, able to bring to you the resource to desire.

To guarantee our promise, each rig contains its own support tanker asset increasing its overall storage yield by 75%. These ships may not be as impressive in stature as rigs but overall costs are lowered thanks to increase in speed, deep penetration exploration radars, storage yield and ability to drill in otherwise inaccessible areas. The ships are visibly imposing with a huge derrick fitted amidships dwarfing most buildings, allowances must be made in the host nation to be able to support the vessel with dry-dock facilities.

RE: Refinery Proposal

Dear Dinar A. Fatimah,

Thank you for you proposal to SeaCul to establish an oil refinery within your nation. I am pleased to annouce your proposal has been accepted on the proviso that additional information can be provided by your government on the a potential contract leangth and estimated output.

In any regard, Cul Group will begin the process of building the establishment within the D.K.I. Jabodetabek, Industry District, as requested. Construction will be sub-contracted to a reliable thrid-party by Cul Group, as requested. These refineries are modular in construction and as a base we will construct it to be able to process 20,000 bbl/day of petrols, oil, lubricants, diesels (POLDs) with potential to increase capacity to over 100,000 bbl/day and/or refinement of natural gas.

Construction costs are estimated to be within £70m - £100m (1 SVD£ = 2.04 NSD$ -- i.e One Stevidian Pound (£) buys 2.04 NSD) and investment returns will be anticipated following constrution and first deliveries of crude.

SeaCul and subsidery companies may use the terminal in order to import/export subsquent resources to and from your nation, and the option remains open for further Cul Group business to provide fueling stations in your nations.

It has been a pleasure doing business with our and we hope you are not only satisfied with our product but our service.

RE: Exploratory Well Project

Alberto Caeiro,

We regret to to inform you, sir, that SeaCul is unable to process your request without further clarification on the well location. As per your completed proposal form, the request is to develop an exploratory and exploitation well on your 'land' within a 'province'. SeaCul is only capable of of exploiting maritime fossil fuel resources. Unless the province includes sea or fresh water access where you believe oil and gas reserves exist, then we cannot process your request.

If indeed it is land based resources you wish to exploit we can direct you to our sister Cul Group entity LanCul, which will process your request.

Kind regards,

When it is up an running (Hopefully within a few weeks) I will post a declaration stating your request has been granted and add your nation to the list of nations we operate it. For now, feel free to RP/believe that your proposal was accepted by LanCul.

Mr. Winslet,

Our invitation to your Company is to explore oil resources both inland and offshore. The Uruk province is located in the north of the Kingdom and has the city of Ur as its Capital. The closest airport is Ur International. There are tax incentives for foreign investment meaning 0% corporate tax for the first 10 years of business. We believe that having SeaCul investing in Uruk would mean the creation of many jobs and a whole new revitalization to the economy.
We are at your disposal should you have any future queries.

Yours Faithfully

RE: Exploratory Well Project

Alberto Caeiro,

In light of this development, SeaCul and LandCul will be working cooperatively and begin work on a series of exploratory wells both inland and at sea for natural oil and gas reserves. Primary stages will involve detailed geological surveys conducted by our experts to ascertain the scope of reserves and exploitation feasibility. These reports are indicative of our willingness to continue exploration and usually have to reach a threshold of 35% (Minimum) before considerations for exploratory drilling is to take place.

Initial costing for the surveying and reports is ~£1.5 million and likely to rise to £8 million dependant on the methods used. We will of course appreciate any help in this regard (i.e. Official government geological surveys on the area for oil and gas reserves, which can speed up the process). As mentioned in our business advertisement, should the possibility of significant reserves be high then we will use all means available to use to guarantee the find.

In anticipation of this, we will be providing 2x Discovery Class drillships and 1x Indigator midwater rig to conduct sweeps of the fields discovered will via exploratory drill wells. Confirmed reserves with certified 'safe' wells will be capped pending exploitation.

It is worth mentioning that SeaCul Services remain at your disposal to handle the exploitation, refinement and even supply of any oil and gas reserves found.

It has been a pleasure doing business with our and we hope you are satisfied with our services.

Kind regards,

Mr David Winslet
VP of Industry & Community Relations
