Personal hygiene is considered extremely important and many customs and norms are based around taking every measure to not spread your personal germs around (people with almost any sickness wear surgical masks if they can't stay home, spitting in public is extremely rude or even illegal in some places, leaving any part of yourself including hair, nail clippings or even dandruff can be considered so disgusting as to induce vomiting in some people). Tap water is safe and wastes are treated thoroughly. Food sold at markets and restaurants has to meet very high standards. That said, we are a little lax when it comes to the smaller things, like a dirty corner in the house or business, and many Dagnians believe in inoculation theory and may not wash or even eat something well past its expiration date if they're not interacting with others soon.

Dagnia tries to keep to itself and has no imperial ambitions, militarily at least. Dagnian intelligence tries to prevent any invasions through misinformation, sabotage, and even assassination so the enemy is crippled or in conflict with a more powerful neighbor before any war with us can begin and it's something they've become really good at.

It managed to recieve independence on July 6, 2016 (though in reality Nasu is still just a Japanese Town, though we'll focus on our nation in Kanto Jinfuken from now on.).

How economically-independent is your nation? We are heavily reliant on tourism, as we have many onsen and ski resorts. We also have a few more local industries like production of food. We also have aid from other countries.

We have a decently sized police force, but the only military that we technically have is a group of 25 people who are responsible for defending our nation, as well as a group of 50 fox people who were hired from the Ezo Kitsune Republic or Vulpixa that also protect our borders.

Low-level bureaucrats are constantly squabbling for power, but it's very rare that these conflicts seriously inhibit the government during peacetime. However, the fact that the military often has internal power struggles has been something of a thorn in our side whenever we're at war.

How economically-independent is your nation? The nation follows a policy of autarky, and while we do trade with other powers, stopping trade would harm our diplomatic relationships more than it would harm our economy.

The military has 13,750,000 active personnel and 70,000,000 reserve personnel, but it should be noted that we don't have enough modern equipment to actually supply an army of that size, so total mobilization wouldn't be as effective in practice as it might be on paper.

What is the tech level of your nation? Late PMT (we have highly advanced AI, FTL travel (albeit a relatively slow kind), and anti-matter weaponry, but we still use some MT elements such as gunpowder guns and simple concrete box-form buildings).

Yes, a lot (anywhere from several hundred to several thousand could work, depending on how exactly a "WMD" is defined - does it go by the legal definition of "biological, chemical, or nuclear weaponry", or do you specifically mean the city-destroying doomsday bomb kind?), and they range in power from bio-engineered plagues to tactical nuclear missiles to city-destroying antimatter bombs. We could theoretically destroy everything on Earth if we wanted to, but that ability isn't as impressive as it might sound, considering that multiple nations have had that power since the 1960s.
