Hello you may not know my Nation which is The Democratic Empire of United Nations. Our people are allowed to marry whomever they choose but it's not like that in many of other Nations.

Some Reasons why we should allow to have people marry whoever they choose is:
- more freedom
- They get to choose who they love
- Get them out of the closet and let people accept them for who they are.

Greetings, leader.

The last time, our last leader, Abott has imposed socially conservative views in our country and generally we lean to the right since. However, I believe that same sex marriage should be allowed in our country and right now we are working to get that happened. However, we are facing a crisis in our country in order to root out problems and I have temporarily stalled the legislature and we will be getting back in a timetable as soon as possible but it is unclear when this would happen. This does not shake my confidence but do know, that once we get back I want to establish a clear law on same sex marriage only by democratic means and with trying to get Parliament to get it done. Same sex marriage is an important civil right for same sex genders because we should not block anyone from getting married with the person they wish to have even if it is against conventional religious or biological norms. I wish to place the emphasis on equality because I believe everyone should be equal.

Allowing same-sex marriage is fine, but making it the only kind allowed is complete glitchery. That would make it so that the type of union that is most likely to produce offspring would be nerfed, which could lead to problems with the natural (ie, not in one of our Education Centers) raising of biologicals.

Of course, Decepticons think all marriage is weird, and we don't recognize any form of it. Our kids do best when NOT "raised by committee." However, our Bureau accepts research that shows that biologicals are often quite different from us, so we believe that it's in your best interest to encourage two-parent raising systems. Marriage is one of the ways this has traditionally been done, and it seems to work well enough, so we suggest you keep it for everyone.

Regardless, our opinion remains the same, namely, that governments, or whatever susbstitute nations have, should play no roll in marriage other than to officially register it. Forcing same-sex marriage to be the only type allowed is a useless limitation of civil rights, and for nations that still rely on natural ways of reproduction and population growth, it could have negative influence on the national demographics.

Not to mention that limiting people to one type of marriage or otherwise relationship is mostly useful for upsetting the general public, at least over here, and upset people are less focused on more important matters, such as work and consumerism, and that is just no good, is it now?"
