Yes and no.

The Toaster I developed in 2006-2008 was a mess of PHP/MySQL that I started coding after reading a library book on PHP and MySQL each, and I called it Toaster 1. By the day of Osiris, circa 2011-2012, I was developing Toaster 2, a Ruby on Rails application. Gulliver helped with it, too.

Just to be confusing, the recruitment and citizenship management application written in python that Taijitu used circa 2014-2016 was not Toaster 3 but "civics" (and was more Gulliver's work than mine, I'd judge).

So did my failed war on antifa do anything?

As far as I've heard it scared them when we grew fast but not much else.

You heard wrong. You couldn't even manage that.

Gave us a lot of material to mock, though. That's very much appreciated.

By pure accident, I discovered that Jell-O, the pre-Francos Delegate of the Pacific that Unibot found out about, was an ACC soldier. Myrth posted this on the ACC Proboards forum. There is still fact-checking to do, however, I'm confident that Myrth wasn't lying or something. :P

Yes I found that and cited it in Anatomy of the Coup III. I’m thinking it was an unauthorized mission - AA had a lot of newbies getting in trouble on AA’s behalf abroad.

What was the Okhrana? Was it roleplay?

If it wasn't roleplay, could you tell me a bit about it? Who supported it? What was the motive?

Assuming the draft of Pierconium's condemnation is accurate, it was a widespread spy network in gameplay that operated for years. Beyond that I haven't the slightest clue but I'm sure there are others that can better answer your question.

That's where I saw it. It got me curious on what I spy network acts as and how it affected gameplay.

The weird-ass question from yours truly strikes again!

Has there been a point in NS where someone took "Rules Lawyering" too seriously? Like... they were told off in Moderation that they are trying to rules lawyer, so they actually hired an actual lawyer just to prove their point?

This one's a real old school GA question, that might not have an answer. I got a TG praising my clever use of "Real Life" cited as a computer/video game. I disclaimed ownership, as obviously I didn't invent the trope of Earth history and human life as an MMORPG / RTS. But someone had to, yes? The first player I recall using it is Separatist Peoples, who claims it was old hat when he first showed up. Any GA old-timers have a notion who might have invented this?

Truth be told I don't remember this tradition from my time in the hallowed halls at all, so I'm wondering if it's not very new?

It could be a Kennyism or Yeldaism, but it sounds to me more like something Goobergunchia might have popularized if he had.

I will poke Yelda and see if he has an answer for you.

UPDATE: Yelda says he will check with Kenny. "I really don't remember who started that but it was in use certainly by 05/06." Yelda added the trademark to Real Life TM - his signature move. ;)
