It mentions the fragility of society, environmental disaster, the decline of western society, the failure of conservatism to actually conserve anything, how just about any issue nowadays threatens to tear our (American) society apart into conflict etc etc.

The alleged shooter has exactly the right politics but like Anders Breivik, acted with too much haste. He is perhaps not wrong to decry the direction his country has been going in. This could've been averted in my view, if immigration from certain undeveloped countries would've been closed off. It is urgent that immigration only be limited to other rich countries at minimum. At least rich immigrants bring money and job creation. If you import Somalis, Afghanis, or people from other poor countries that're more of a burden, of course locals are going to grow wroth about letting any more in.

Little snag with this post: the muslims who were killed were doing fine in the country. One of them was even part of a national sportsteam. They were well integrated, spoke the local language, had jobs, paid their taxes and were good neighbours.

There were no problems. In fact, there are very few problems with muslims in New Zealand. Some religious nutters who oppose homosexual relationships - but relatively fewer than the christians with the same opinion. That's it.
