The Afaenvian application and letter of credence reached Borozan’s office shortly after lunch on the thirteenth of February and required only minimal discussion to meet his approval. Borozan subsequently forwarded the letter of credence to Minister Carter’s office later that afternoon and Carter later forwarded it to the Royal Residence so that the Crown could formally acknowledge its message and file it in an appropriate location. In the meantime, Borozan tasked his daytime secretary, Jacob Romanski, with sending out his reply.

Lord Desgoffia:
I am very pleased to inform you that my office has reviewed and approved the facility application which your office submitted on February 12. I have ordered my staff to allot the property located at 115 Chancery Avenue for your honorable government’s use and I hope that the Afaenvian delegation will find its condition satisfactory upon arriving there. If you, Lord Hwang, or any of his subordinates feel a need to make inquiries regarding these arrangements, then my office will freely entertain and answer whichever questions are directed to it.
I have informed the Imperial Crown of your delegation’s pending arrival and have secured Their Imperial Majesties’ blessing to organize and send a Monavian delegation to the City of Crystalcrest. Should your honorable government be pleased with this offer of reciprocity, you can expect my office to prepare and submit a completed diplomatic exchange application in the near future. In the meantime, I offer you and the Afaenvian government at large my regards and sincerest wishes for a peaceful and prosperous future.
Sincerely,
Augustus Borozan, Ph.D., LL.M.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
