Naval Group XI - Air Wing

The ASW choppers barely took flight when warnings were blared. Incoming missiles. Luckily for the aircraft, they were still in range of the fleet, and the chopper's defence systems combined with the naval group's AA Systems knocked out the incoming missiles. The pilots sighed a sigh of relief, and pulled away, further from the coast to stay clear of the AA systems.

Naval Group XI

Captain Crusuo expected the missile strike to fail in general, but it still managed to sink a destroyer - right in the middle of the enemy fleet - in their own port. This was as much a psycological move as anything, demonstrating the capabilities - and willingness of the Naval Group to engage in battle. Crusuo wanted the legend to spread amongst the rank and file sailors, to grow the legend, to grow the fear.

Seconds after the strike, a radio transmission was received:

"Check Check, this is Rear Admiral Nelson Shay, commander of the Chuckian Expeditionary Strike Group aboard the C.N.S. Onyx. We are here and ready to assist you to the best of our abilities. over."

Before the captain could reply, total and complete chaos erupted, with the sirens and flashing lights playing their role once more. A radar operator announced in a grim voice "Entire volley incoming!!" The captain smiled, atleast he will die doing what he loves..

He jumped on the battlenet of the fleet and gave his orders "All vessels, full capability on defence systems. Throw what ever you must!"

The integrated network of the naval group sprang to life. The second one vessel picked up an incoming threat, all vessels was aware of it. Furthermore it co-ordinated its defence by destributing responsibility - preventing all ships to engage only one target. The system worked marvelously, and for a few seconds it sounded as if the entire planet has become undone.

The Frigate's Eagle Hunter System punched the hardest, clawing at incoming missiles with its own missiles with precision. The 76mm and 35mm CiWS of all vessels fired non-stop at their assigned targets. Chaff launchers and flare launchers were launching waves of countermeasures into the smoke filled sky. The EW systems were jamming missiles as best it could. Once again the billions and billions of dollars invested was not wasted.

The massive amount of missiles could not all be stopped, and three Missile Boats were hit and sunk. A nasty blow to the already injured naval group.

As RHIB's were launched to rescue the few survivors in the water, a Jasonvillee pilot who was busy drowning was also picked up.

Captaim Crusuo wanted to send a final message to his neighborhood enemies, and finally managed to answer the radio transmission from the Chuckians.

"Admiral, this is Captain Crusuo of the PES Darling Its good to hear your voice. Me and my boys are taking a slight beating here." The captain forwarded the co-ordinates of the enemy vessels to the Admiral.

"Admiral Sir, if you really are willing to assist, I need you to send a few gifts of love to these co-oridinates. And by a few, I mean whatever you can spare and then some! I will do exactly the same from here, same time. Its the only way to sink that fleet once and for all and get through their defence systems.."

"Admiral, this is Captain Crusuo of the PES Darling Its good to hear your voice. Me and my boys are taking a slight beating here... Once Captain Crusuo's message came in with the coordinates, it was beamed to each of the missile ships in the amphibious assault force. General Quarters blared across the fleet and sailors scrambled to their battle stations. Although still half a days journey from Port Arthur, the fleet slowed to a halt over the horizon and the V.L.S. systems aboard the Arleigh Burke destroyers and Ticonderoga cruisers started to open. In each of the silos sat a brand new Mark 12 "Albatross" anti-ship missile.

Within twenty minutes of receiving Captain Crusuo's message, the fleet was ready to unleash its cutting edge payload. Once the captains of the other ships confirmed that they were ready to fire, Rear Admiral Shay radioed back to Captain Crusuo and the PES Darling.

"Captain Crusuo, our missile batteries are armed and ready to fire on your command. Give the word and we'll light up the heavens with enough ordinance to make St. Michael shudder. We're sparing 30% of our anti-ship capabilities for this so we'll be sending in 672 missiles to overload their point defense systems. Give the command when you're ready."

As Nelson Shay waited for the word to fire, a thought crossed his mind, "The tax-payers are getting their bang for their buck today..."

Naval Group XI

When the Chuckian Admiral reported his readiness status to Captain Crusuo, he reconfirmed the orders with his own naval group.

If this plan did not sink that entire blasted fleet, then he did not have an idea what could. The amount of money's worth of missiles that was about to be thrown at that fleet could easily run (or even buy) an entire small nation.

When he was satisfied that his forces had the correct targets, ensuring that the entire fleet was targeted and covered, he made a radio call:

"Admiral Nelson Shay, aboard the C.N.S. Onyx - This is Captain Crusuo aboard the PES Darling. Prepare to fire on my command..

Stand by..

UNLEASH HELL!!!"

A few seconds after the command was given to the Chuckian navy, the Port Emberian Naval Group followed suite. A total of 90 x HMT 13 Starling Missiles and 70 x of the massive and dangerous HMR 10 Dragon Slayer missiles screamed at the world while racing towards the enemy fleet. These missiles again were cruising at sea skimming height at subsonic speeds, making it extremely hard to detect, and when reaching the horizon distance (20km), it would jump into supersonic speeds. This stealth, speed and massed factors, combined with the fact that over 600 missiles is expected from the other flank fired from the chuckian navy... was a sight not yet seen in this world.

Port Arthur, Western Dalny Island Naval Base

The Vostok fleet, upon firing its barrage of missiles, began to move out of the harbor. It was imperative that the fleet moves out of the harbor at all costs, as now the definitely have their location. Furthermore, the news that a Chuckian invasion fleet was moving in through the Yellow China Sea. The entire Vostok fleet was deployed, with the exception of one battle-cruiser. The fleet, currently reloading all of its missiles, detected a large number of missiles headed from the newly arrived Chuckian fleet.

The Admiral barked, "How many?"

"300, 400, 500 contacts and growing!"

"Countermeasures!"

"Sir, there are too many to stop!"

"Hmm. Very well then. Fire all available weapons at the point of origin. Launch all fighters, tell them to head to Fort Pazarath. If we are going down, we bloody well are taking them with us. Order the submarines forward, tell them to join up with the Wolfpack. Make them bleed."

As the operator issued the commands and the missiles were fired(a combination of Zicron missiles and their variants, 100 hyper sonic cruise missiles, 400 subsonic guided missiles) the enemy missiles made contact with the naval fleet. The large detonation of over 600 missiles hitting a small area like that created absolute chaos. The missile barrage and shock-wave hit the Vostok fleet, which caused one destroyer on the outside to nearly capsize. When the smoke cleared, the combined firepower of the two groups hit a grand total of 6 destroyers, 3 cruisers, 2 battlecruisers, and heavily damaged the carrier. The behemoth of a ship was taking in water, but had time to launch 24 fighters and 10 helicopters full of marines, before orders were finally given to abandon ship. The Vostok fleet was devastated, and the Admiral, following naval tradition, allowed everyone else to evacuate before he himself made way back to the base on the last raft. The five surviving ships and the survivors of the fleet made way to the naval base.

The Admiral looked back at the now ruined fleet. He had sustained multiple injures himself, but could not feel them because of what had just happened. To lose their entire fleet like that, it was an absolute disgrace. He could only hope that their missiles had a lasting impact on the invaders...

The submarines underneath the fleet moved into attack position, and, bidding their time, scrambled enemy radar using their ECM's.

In middle of the Battle for PA

When the pilot saw that the both sides were too busy, he gave up waving his flags. He tucked them in his pockets and brought his pistol. Then, with his canteen(which was secretly a flare gun) he shot it in the air, and started swimming with a life jacket to shore.

Missiles and cannon bombardment crashed into the ocean with a great punch, and causing the waves to swell in anger. The pilot had to keep trying. He saw some Chuckian fleets come in next to the PE ships. He didn't want to surrender to the Gold Club, but he was scared of what the Iron Entente would do to him. Also, the Gold Club would probably start destroying PA, and he didn't want to be in that mess. So he changed directions and started swimming to the PE and Chuckian ships.

Once he got more near, there was more explosion and the waves grew even stronger from the explosive shock waves. He got out the flare gun canteen and fired over in the air. Then he just floated in the water, waiting for rescue.

Back at Embassy City
The cabinet was silent when the radio cut off. Prime Minister Jason stared at it, hoping the radio would come back to life.

No such luck.

Then the cabinet grew in a uproar, the War Hawks saying that the pilot was shot down, and the Anti war accusing the war hawks hiring mercanaries purposely modifying the plane.

Jason started for the door, leaving his cabinet members there arguing. He went and drove over to the SAS headquarters quickly.

He then went into the SAS directing Minister's office, and asked,"Are there any agents in PA?"

"Yes sir, but why do you need them?"

"One of our planes crashed or was shot down near PA, and currently there is a battle happening there. I need to know what happened to the pilot."

"Alright sir, I shall send a disguised message to the agent."

"Good, report as quick as you can."

Inside PA, a small town...

Agent Emmy was shocked by all the explosions outside. She was a agent, observing and being Jasonville's eyes in PA. And her eyes were seeing war.

She was dazed until a familiar knock came on the door. Emmy realized it was the Jasonville Messenger Knock.

Knock, Knock, Scratch, Knock, Kick, Kick.

She went to the door quickly and opened it. The messenger, with a trench coat and a beret said in a French accent:

"The knight slayed a dragon."

Emmy replied,"A princess came up to him and warned him,'Sir there is a storm coming over here.'"

"And what did the knight replied?"

Emmy said with a amused voice,"I am the storm. Alright what is it Leo?"

The messenger, Leo, laughed and quickly said,"Here is the info, listen to it and do your job. Good luck." and then Leo quickly disappeared into a dark alley.

Emmy went in the house and opened the file. Inside was recorded message. She typed in a password and a presentation came to life.

"Hello Agent. As you see, a battle is happening near you," and the projector showed a picture of the ORBATS of both sides.

"A pilot, whose name shall not be revealed, has crashed right next to the Gold Club Fleets," the projector showed the pilots face and all the info about him.

"Your mission is to find out what caused the crash, and to get that pilot back safely. You shall report your findings as quick as possible. Your second priority is to find out who shot first to start this battle." and it listed all the missions. She sighed as she saw what was ahead.

"If you are caught or killed, the SAS and the Government of Jasonville shall try to get you or your body back. If impossible, we shall deny you and your mission." She knew all of that, and she just wanted to go, but she had to stay for the last part.

"This is your mission, if you choose it accept it. Good luck Agent. For God and For Jasonville." And Emmy picked up the projector as it said,"This message will self destruct in 5 seconds."

A small cracking sound came from it, and smoke filled the room, as Emmy thought about her mission, and whether it would be her last.

Port Emberian Naval Group XI
Off the PA coast

Even though the combined missile strike struck its targets more than 50km away, one could see the flashes for a second on the horizon. One could even hear the faint roar of the explosions. One could only imagine the pure hell the sailors went through who was the actual target of the strike.

The radar operators gave reports through, detailing the damage done to the enemy. This was an historic moment. One of the first true naval battles where an entire fleet was crippled in one decisive battle in recent modern times. This was the proudest moment in Captain Crusuo's life.

As this was happening, the fleet was already steaming south hard. Full speed ahead for all the vessels whom remained. Crusuo knew there was a Wolf Pack still near and did not have the resources left to engage in another fight. Luckily he knew he could outrun the subs any day of the week, as Port Emberian Vessels is famous for their speed.

He made a final broadcast to the Chuckian Navy: "Admiral Nelson Shay, aboard the C.N.S. Onyx - This is Captain Crusuo aboard the PES Darling. Thanks for the assist! We have made history today! My naval group is steaming south hard, we are out of this fight for now. Be advised - i am aware of 3 x Seawolves in the water - and they have proven to be quite aggressive and cunning. To your health and wealth Admiral! Out."

Captain Crusuo was overhwelmed with joy and proud, but a bit angry at his allies. Although he knows they saved their lives, he felt a bit cheated in having to share the glory on this great day.

It was a long hard day, and time to inform Naval Command of what happened. The Comms Officer compiled a SITREP to forward home.

The Naval Group has managed to survive the ambush and is steaming south hard at this moment. However they have sustained serious damages and personnel injuries and is in dire need to dock at a safe harbor, in order to complete emergency repairs and treat our wounded, in a safe area, away from the enemy submarines on our tail.

As a dear friend and ally, I humbly request that you alloe my fleet to dock in your great nation for the above mentioned reasons.

Please respond with haste and urgency.

It has come under my urgent attention that my Naval Group XI has come under serious attack in the harbor of Port Arthur by your forces.

The evidence given to me is shocking and damming:
- My Naval Group made their intentions clear to enter West Harbor, which was granted by your nation.

- Prior to entering the harbor your forces mobilised, including your fleet, infantry and artillary forces. This is a clear indication on what their intentions were.

- As my Naval Group entered the harbor, my vessels were fired upon without provocation. My naval group returned fire only as a self defence measure. However 2 x more patrol groups and shore based systems opened fire on my vessels. This shows clear intent to aggressively destroy my assets and murder my men. Even while attempting to escape - your fleet continued their assault on my vessels. This was followed up with more continious attacks, until my group with nearby allied vessels were forced to lay waste to your fleet in order to neutralise the threats to our lives.

As for the allied fleet whom assisted, I had no prior knowledge of their presence or their intentions. I still dont. My vessels attempted to dock in good faith.

This is a serious incident sir. This was an outright, despicable and straight forward unlawfull attack on my forces. And a declaration of war.

Now ask yourself, if 15 x vessels on a peace mission gets ambushed, and still able to wreak so much chaos and destruction in only an escape attempt - what can we do when we come in actual force with the intent of war? I hope you can understand my reasoning when I tell you that nothing good can come of war for your nation.

Please convince me not to wipe your nation off the face of the earth in response to your evil transgressions.

It is clear to me that you do not fully have all of the details of the events that are happening at Port Arthur right now, so let me inform you,

-Our troops were mobilized and deployed because you are at war with our ally, and, as proxy, at war with us as well. Our troops were deployed to secure our assets in Port Arthur. While we did lease you several deep-water harbors in Western Harbor, you do not own the whole port. In addition, our troops did not enter or transgress on your property, they merely ensured security, for both your and our traders.
-Speaking of your traders and company managers, they are safe with the rest of the civilians. Although you clearly have no intention of saving them, as your ally clearly stated, and I quote, " you will experience brimstone and hellfire, the likes of which have not been seen since biblical times. We will raze the port and city until it is little more than a smoking crater in the ground." If you wish to negotiate for their safety, withdraw your naval forces to a respectable distance and allow one of our ships to deliver them to you. We can promise no harm will come to them, but if you continue your attack, we cannot guarantee anything.
-And, speaking of allies, may I ask you, why was the Chukian naval force so close during this incident? May you please explain why our satellites detect a massive troop contingent heading for port Arthur? It seems very unlikely that a fleet could make it's way from The Chuck to the Yellow Sea in less than a few hours. If you truly don't know what your ally is doing, we recommend you keep your allies in check.
-Finally, on to the topic of the naval incident itself. Do you think I am an idiot? Do you really think I or the Verhovnaya Rada would give the go-ahead to open fire on a superpower that dwarfs us in pure might? The subsequent strikes afterward were a direct response to the destruction of 15 Coast Guard ships. We had intentions to question and court-martial the Lieutenant who fired, but the reason rests with him now, at the bottom of the sea.

But, I digress. We understand your frustration, and I hope you do too. So, here is the deal that I propose. We will pay for the damages caused to your assets in the region, and your's alone. In return, you must withdraw your forces from Port Arthur.

However, if you do wish to escalate this to full-scale war, as you claim at the end of your correspondence, for our "evil transgressions", know this. Jadotgrad was only a taste of what we have.

Near the Shore of PA...

Agent Emmy quickly hid behind a small boulder. She had her water suit ready and a small emergency pistol.

Reports told her that the pilot was on a Chuckian or PE ships, and other then that, she knew nothing. She put on flippers and dove into the water.

She swam through the bright blue, but metal infested water, the result of debris and explosions. She kept swimming. Admiring the ocean life around her, she temporarily forgot her mission. But she focused again and started swimming faster. She suddenly dove down into a small cave.

Inside was a small Jasonville airpocket, with more air tanks and supplies. She took a knife, and left her clogged up gun, and got another air tank. Then she continued her way to the Gold Club Fleet.

Yellow Sea - 2nd Expeditionary Force

"Admiral Nelson Shay, aboard the C.N.S. Onyx - This is Captain Crusuo aboard the PES Darling. Thanks for the assist! We have made history today! My naval group is steaming south hard, we are out of this fight for now. Be advised - i am aware of 3 x Seawolves in the water - and they have proven to be quite aggressive and cunning. To your health and wealth Admiral! Out."

When Captain Crusuo's message came in over the radio, Admiral Shay smiled to himself. The battle was looking good so far, they had managed to utterly smash the majority of the Vostok fleet and now practically had full reign of the Yellow Sea. However, information about the submarines didn't phase him to much. Issuing an order, Nelson brought forth the three militarized picket ships. Each ship had powerful active and passive sonar systems that would allow the fleet to be informed if the submarines attempted to approach above the thermocline. While the picket ships maneuvered towards the edges of the fleet, information started to come in from the AWACS aircraft above.

The AEW E-2C Hawkeye aircraft of the combat air patrol over the fleet was the first section of the multi layer detection system to spot the massive wave of incoming bogies. Immediately information was processed on board the AWACS and was transmitted to all of the ships of the fleet below. In the combat information centers in each of the ships, the tactical action officers (T.A.O.) moved hastily as the electronic warfare systems (EWS) detect and identify the incoming threats. Working in tandem with the EWS, the Electronic Support Measures (ESM) equipment verified this information and proceeded to display the bogies on an interception vector with the fleet. The T.A.O. on the C.N.S. Onyx notified Admiral Shay of the incoming bogies

Admiral Shay paused for a few precious seconds before hollering a command,

"Task force, change course 75 degrees starboard, I want countermeasures ready to fire off the port side of our fleet now! I want all the ships to button up too. TAO, be advised you have permission to use your discretion to proceed."

As his command was dispatched, the fleet started to maneuver to get the counter batteries in a position to defend the fleet. Back down in the C.I.C. on the Onyx, the long-range two-dimensional air search radar (A.S.R.) started to pick up a faint return on its maximum range. The information from the ASR was combined with the ESM to localize the bogies heading for the fleet. The ASR J-band emissions verified that the bogies were anti-ship missiles headed for the fleet. As the missiles continued towards the fleet, they soon were in range of the three-dimensional search and track radar aboard the Arleigh Burkes and Ticonderogas. The machinery quickly calculated an accurate reading on the course and speed of the incoming projectiles.

Wasting little time, the TAO on the Onyx decided to use most of the counter weaponry at his disposal in the fleet. This included counter battery Rim-116 RAMs, Rim-162 ESSMs, Rim-174 ERAMs, Phalanx C.I.W.S., Mark 36 Super-Arboc launchers, and Nulka Active Missile decoys. After selecting the weapon systems to be used, the TAO informed the Anti-Air Warfare Commander (A.A.W.C.) aboard the Onyx of his weapon selection and the AAWC authorized Air Warning Red for the entire Second Expeditionary Force fleet. As the missiles closed to within range of the air defense weapons, the fire control systems of the ships calculated predicted intercept points (PIP) for their designated inbound missiles. Once it was relayed that systems were locked on, the TAO aboard the Onyx spoke,

"Batteries release."

Across the fleet, missiles flew out of their launchers, chaff popped out of tubes, flares burned bright, and sailors held their breath. From the bridges of the ships, crew members had visual eyesight of the numerous explosions on the horizon from the counter-battery missiles making contact with the bulk of the incoming anti-ship missiles. A few dozen missiles managed to penetrate the wall of missile counter-measures but were either quickly shredded by the CIWS's or flew off course towards the chaff and decoys. As missiles exploded among the fleet, shrapnel managed to knock out many sensors and one missile managed to completely destroy the high-powered radar array aboard one of the picket ships.

Wolfpack, Location Undisclosed

The Wolfpack bided its time beneath the waves. The Chuckian fleet had made its move, and its countermeasures were noted. The subs loaded their weapons and prepared to fire. Noting that the helicopters were not taken down yet, they prepped their Igla AA missiles. The Capitan of the S-885 ordered that the choppers be taken down using the VLS, which fired 8 missiles at the helicopters.

The Capitan of the S-885, the Severodnivsk-class submarine, knew that their Anechoic tiles wouldn't be a viable solution to evading sonar in this case, he decided to go on the offensive. He ordered all of the Akula subs to open fire at the designated targets. The S-885 would target one of the carriers, while another Akula targeted the other. The rest of the Akulas targeted the destroyers, knowing that they would be the greatest threat. The S-885 unleashed a total of 10 torpedoes towards the carrier, and the Akula launched it's 8. Yellow Sea - 2nd Expeditionary Force

There is no rest for the wicked. As the crews aboard the ships of the 2nd Expeditionary Force released a collective sigh of relief, the powerful active and passive sonars of the ships across the fleet picked up multiple bogies at range and dozens of torpedoes closing in on the fleet. As the combat information centers took in the information of the new threat, the sonar systems managed to show all torpedoes heading towards the fleet and a few larger targets that could undoubtedly be the enemy submarines that had launched the torpedoes. Processing the information, the TAO ordered the seven Seawolf-class submarines to maintain radio silence and to sweep and attempt to destroy the enemy submarines. As such, the Seawolf-class submarines went dark and started to silently advance towards the direction of the enemy submarines. Information was still being relayed from the fleet sonar devices that showed the location of the nearby enemy submarines.

The seven Seawolf-class submarines started to maneuver towards the enemy submarines. As they pushed ahead of the fleet and between the fleet and the incoming torpedoes, they started to dive after deploying Mark 70 MOSS decoys. These decoys started emitting pulses that simulated submarines and started to draw some of the torpedoes towards them.

Back in the fleet, each of the ships that were capable were directed to deploy AN/SLQ-25 Nixie decoys. As the ships spooled out the Nixie decoys, a command from the C.N.S. Onyx directed the fleet to maintain proximity to but start deploying "Big-Bird" anti-torpedo maneuvers. As the ships started evasive maneuvers, the incoming torpedoes hit the fleet. Due to the 25+ Nixie decoys, 21 Mark 70 MOSS, and the evasive maneuvers performed by the ships, the majority of the torpedoes locked on to decoys and missed the fleet. However, 11 torpedoes managed to pierce the veil and targeted an array of the warships. The ships were in the midst of evasive maneuvers and as such, the 11 torpedoes locked onto the wake of the ships and struck the propeller and rudders of the ships, crippling them. 8 San Antonio-Class LPDs were struck, 2 Arleigh Burke-Class Destroyers, and 1 Wasp-Class LHD were crippled and declared dead in the water. As such, the invasion force was forced to stop their advance until reinforcements arrived.

Commissar Lavrenti Maximovich was tired. He had been ordered by the Archduke to purge all religious and opposition elements in Jadotgrad. It had been a long and arduous task that had taken him through half the city on a trail of fire and purging. The bishop here was one of the last holy men in the city, once he was gone the purge would expand outward. He motioned for the two SR guardsmen with him to enter the building and drag the old coot out from his hole. With a nod, they charged into the building brandishing their rifles. Yawning, Lavrenti fixed his gas mask and rode forward to where the guardsmen had burst in. A few minutes later, they returned with an old man who's garb identified him as the Bishop. The man struggled for a moment before succumbing to his fate. Drawing his sword, Lavrenti took aim for the old man's neck and swung. There was a dull thud as the head dropped to the pavement, "Deus Vult you bastard," spat one of the guardsmen. Lavrenti smiled before ordering the men back inside the church, "Kill every last one of those religious crazies. The Kaiserriech has no need of them,". The men saluted and began their gruesome task.

The Kyavani Blitz - Phase 1, The "Clearout"

Siler, Chesham and Ironsword had gathered in the room, all clearly smiling.

"Ironsword, I believe you know what is to be done now in order to ready my troops, yes?" Siler said, his reddish eyes glaring at Ironsword, who was a tall figure standing next to him.
"Siler, of course. We must begin a campaign of bombing and strafing from the upper atmosphere in order to clear their defences." Ironsword replied in a such a menacing tone that even Siler was shook by his words.
"Chesham?" Siler asked.
"Of course. We will continue naval bombardment of Kyavani ports." Chesham replied.
"And so be it. Meeting adjourned." Siler said once more, finishing the meeting.

Mere days after that, there were bombs dropping from 10-30km up in Kyavan, causing neither accurate nor precise damage, but still able to kill a few thousand people a day, even with the use of only conventional weapons. Furthermore, Kyavan were engaged at sea in small fights by the much more numerous British submarines, with predictions saying that their battleship doctrines will collapse and with an "85%" certainty of a British naval victory.

The victorious but battered Naval Group XI docked at Manila Port, a port of their Phillipines & Malasia allies. Meanwhile not far south from Manila Port, the Northern Fleet of the Port Ember Navy was steaming north hard, straight towards the Phillipines Islands, and then towards their utlimate aim... Port Arthur.

As the helicopter left the carrier Ghost Cohort Alpha checked their weapons and gear. The five of them had orders to cut their path to the capital of this backwater country and assassinate whatever passed for a ruler here. They'd honed their skills on the battlefields of the civil war, each man knew how to do his job and do it well. But all they could do for now was hope that the enemy didn't have AA on this remote section of the coast. Several of them had faced charges of war crimes and for good reason. One of them, had gained a reputation for skinning enemy prisoners alive as if they were game. High command wasn't their biggest fan, then again neither were the enemy. The Ghost Cohorts are for people who have great skills, no moral compass, and no family. "We are the best cannon fodder out there," remarked the previous centurion of GCA before getting obliterated by shrapnel. The current centurion smiled as he remembered that phrase. Pulling his skull mask over his head, he gazed at his men. All of them were ready to go, two held the enormous crate of c4 while another two held munitions. All carried their rifles like preachers carry bibles.

"ETA Fifteen minutes," called the pilot

The five men strapped into their seats still holding the mountain of gear they had. It was going to be a long night.

Friedrick sat down next to his son as the fourth movement began to play. Heinz seemed intent on not acknowledging the presence of his father behind him. "The 9th symphony is a good choice" he began before a withering glare from Heinz stopped him. "Sending me to Jasonville is a mistake, the moment I'm gone Gunter will rise up." spat Heinz. Friedrick sighed and sat back for a moment. Gunter was a threat to the Death Corps as a whole, only his men would ever betray the Kaiser. "You are going and that is final" whispered Friedrick "Let me deal with Gunter". Friedrick could feel the anger and helplessness radiating off Heinz like rot on a carcass. Heinz nodded to his father and walked out flanked by two SR guardsmen. Friedrick sat back and enjoyed Beethoven, everything was falling into place...

Although aware of an attack on the Naval Group XI, the general populace were not informed of the details. War has not been declared on Ukraniumstan. The general populace remains calm and continues with their daily lives. The military however has been placed on alert and have started calling up a portion of their reserve forces.

Manila Port - Republic of Philipines & Malaya

The remainder of Naval Group XI had recovered well within the allied port. Their vessels were repaired and rearmed from the local branch of Hydra Industries. The injured sailors received medical treatment.

Captain Crusuo, the Group Commander was ordered to remain in Manila Port. They are continuing with daily retraining, and assisting the Philipines & Malaya Navy to patrol their coast. An intensive intelligence sharing project is also underway.

The massive Northern Fleet of Port Ember has arrived in the waters off the coast of Port Arthur, carrying an entire Marine Expiditionary Force. With the recent destruction of thr local Ukraniumstan fleet, this part of the ocean is now under full control of Port Ember. The fleet is awaiting orders, anxious to receive orders to start their invasion.

Port Ember was preparing to send their Foreign Minister to Jasonvilee to attend the Peace Summit. The Minister had a special guest with him to take with him, a certain pilot...
