Yugobatania Declares War Against The Unian Union of City States!
In a recent press conference, the Supreme President of Yugobatania has declared a national state of emergency: that we must mobilize against the newly created nation of the Unian Union of City States. The Unian Union is labelled on the World Census as a "Psychotic Dictatorship", with civil rights and political freedom outlawed, and a developing economy.
As stated by the Supreme President, "we are looking to bolster our nuclear capabilities, and the Unian Union has a very strong black market comprising of Uranium Mining. Illegal Uranium Mining."
The Supreme President also goes on to say how "we have repeatedly tried to find a more peaceful alternative, as such by trying to split the profits - but to no avail."
Yugobatania is internationally allowed to employ WMD's (Weapons of Mass Destruction), which include nuclear weapons. It is widely known that Yugobatania harbors missile silos throughout the country. Last week, a man walking his dog was dragged along while holding his dog's leash, as the dog followed another dog playing catch with a tennis ball. The tennis ball fell into a previously hidden missile silo that was open for "maintenance", and the dogs stopped, not until the man somehow fell into the silo. He was relatively unhurt, as he landed on top of the nuclear ballistic missile.
Anyways, this decision has garnered up massive amounts of controversy. Many say that the Unian Union did nothing wrong to start such, and this is just an excuse to start a war (the Supreme President is known to have an itch for war). Nonetheless, the Supreme President has ordered all military forces to mobilize.
The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Yugo Carrier Groups have mobilized in the West Yugo Sea, with various Yugobatanian Army Brigades mobilizing for an large armoured expedition. Meanwhile, the Yugobatanian Air Force has bolstered its defenses around the border, as to protect the Yugobatanian airspace from any impending invasion.
Later that day, the Supreme President made another letter, this time as a rallying call to nations interested in supporting Yugobatania, listed below.
A Letter to Anyone Willing to Listen
This is a letter to any nation willing to listen.
We know that the Unian Union of City States will be a tough enemy, as we are very closely matched. We have calculated their defense forces to be very close to ours - meaning that many lives will be lost.
We are not looking for a long war - all we are looking for is a swift and quick excursion to extract Uranium from them. We are even willing to split the profits with anyone involved.
This war, which we are dubbing as the "Yugo-Unian War", will be perhaps the deadliest war that Yugobatania has encountered.
